3. If a person has priority 1 (I’m assuming that’s highest), does that mean that if they watch someone on D1, they get highest priority and can’t be attacked as such? I guess I’m just confused in general on the priority number if an attacker/defender still has a separate d20 rolled

Alright I’ve messaged just about everyone who played in GoC and people I’ve seen active on discord so if we don’t fill by next Monday April 8th, I’ll adjust the setup size as needed.

Danganronpa 3: Future Mafia

Hello! It’s been awhile since I’ve hosted, but I’ve got a new exciting setup for you all

This is a 15 person closed setup. All unique roles. The game will feature a day cycle action system applicable to all players.

This setup will guarantee the following:


A dead chat for dead players to discuss between themselves but no one else via Discord.
All players will have a Forbidden Action that will kill them instantly if the conditions for it become true. Forbidden actions can be a literal action while others can be a condition of the game state, other players, or even tied to their role abilities.
All players have the option to Watch or Fight someone after EOD finishes as a "Day action."
Not all roles have night actions.

Rules:
-Days will last 48 hours. Nights will last 24 hours. The thread will be closed for the night phase.
-All votes will be changeable and must be cast in the poll to count.
-Vote ties will be decided randomly.
-“No Vote" will be a viable poll option
-The Mafia will be given BTSC at all times unless they are dead or otherwise stated.
-The game will have a Day 0/Pregame for players to check in, etc.
-Mafia will have the option to select who will be what role during the Pregame. In other words, they are not assigned a role by the host.
-Anyone on the mafia team may perform the Nightly Mafia Kill.
-No Jesters, Cults, Alignment changing, Mod Bastardry, or BTSC spying
-Win conditions may be revoked from players at the host’s discretion. Typically based upon participation.
-All Player to Host communication regarding questions about the game, actions, etc should be done through Private Messaging either on the site or through Discord.
-Keep game-sensitive details inside the game.
-Do Not edit or delete posts.
-Death will grant you one spoilered "bluh" post, which may not contain game-relevant information.
-No OOC or Dead Chat in the Game Thread. Only players and the host(s) may post.
-Refrain from ciphering or concealing posts. This includes writing in the same color as the background.
-Please, this is a game. Take it easy, play to have fun, but play to win! We all want to have fun. Remember that.

DAY ACTIONS:
Day actions resolve immediately after EOD.
Day actions are decided during the day and sent to the host.
Each player has a priority number that will resolve when they perform their day actions.
Each player has a number randomly assigned 1-15.
Each player may choose to do one of two day actions:
Players are allowed to set a Default Response for these actions where they will always do an action unless otherwise stated.
The Mafia night kill is immune to being roleblocked via losing a fight.
The Defending player will always know who is attacking them when given their warning.
Players commit their fight action before numbers are rolled.
If a player does not commit their fight action (and has not set up an automatic response with the hosts) it will be an automatic retreat/loss.

1. Watch: Visit a player and watch to see who visits them during EOD. If they are fought then you are told who they fight, but not in which order. You are allowed to watch yourself and grant yourself +4 if you are fought.

2. Fight: Attempt to roleblock another player’s night action (if applicable) and NEXT day action until the next day phase.

How it works:
The attacker (the one using their fight action) will select a player.
A warning will be issued to the defending player upon end of day.
The defender can request the attacker to not follow through with their fight along with a single message not exceeding 50 letters or accept the fight. The message is delivered through the Host.
Accepting the fight initially gives the Defender +2 to the fight.
Should the fight commence, the defending player can choose to fight or defend from the attack.

Mutual Fight: If both fight, a random number between 1 and 20 will be generated for each by the host. The lower of the two numbers (after Modifiers) will lose. The loser is prevented from using their night action (if any) as well as their next day action.

Defending: If the defender chooses to defend they will have Advantage on their generated number (The host will generate two numbers between 1 and 20 and use the higher number to determine results). Winning the Fight while Defending will not prevent the attacker from using their next day and night action (if any).
