i think it's more of a "i'll just pretend like i'm not about to get burned at the stake" kind of thingLong Con wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2019 12:33 pmThis is a really good post. Either Luna is a dedicated Civ, or playing with fire as a baddie.
However, I am really sure that Epi made the big case on Luna because he red-peeked her, and that's how you do it in a no-infodropping game. The fact that his points against her were, to me, varying levels of weak, only strengthens that belief.
So now we are seeing Luna defend Jack. Perhaps we are meant, post-baddie-Luna-lynch, to conclude that Jack is bad. Maybe that's her play here.
it's not particularly believable

Seeing as the day’s plan is clear, let’s try to not waste the day and pretend Luna has just died and we’re doing night 3 analysis, seeing that the thread is locked during night 3.
If Luna flips scum I think Creature is the obvious target day 4 but I don’t think that’s the right one.

The case on Lunalee makes sense and I could also see nutella being bad. They both are notoriously difficult to read at times. Lunas response to the suspicion on her was that she is busy and had a lot going on and messed up which is perhaps possible. Nutella response is to get really defensive.
In looking at Luna she originally seemed to be defending rej but then last second votes him openly admitting she just randomly voted because she thought he maybe had one sketchy post which she sort of wasn't really suspicious of initially. Ehhhh It's not a good look even if she is busy.
Nutella has been wrong on a lot of her reads so far but it is in her nature to kinda move around with the flow of the thread. I'm not sold on her being town as of yet but I feel the Luna case is more compelling.

Sorry all. Been under the hammer with thesis stuff so I've barely done more than skim Day 2, if you can call it that. Still am, so I'd appreciate it if someone linked me to big stuff. Lunalee comes to mind, but I'll look into whatever wallposts I skipped myself.
Laying off Creature now. He seems to be in the game now rather than criticising it from the sidelines. No beefs with his content either.
Bazinga.

does 'you're all dumb as hell' count as getting into the discussion because that's all i've got for you friendoDyslexicon wrote: ↑Sat Jul 27, 2019 6:35 am I have no fucking clue what Rej is doing. I was worried that he might be town that just plainly doesn't make sense and clam up. I've seen a lot of town getting lynched for "that doesn't make any sense" - but then they're still town. BUT, the fact that he is just giving up is a really bad look. On the other hand, the game seems quite stagnant and whatever with Rej being a leading wagon by far. I'm not sure it would be like this if Rej was mafia? Maybe other mafia want bussing credit, but also meh. So if Rej is not town I could also see them being an Indy. Would explain why it seems like nobody really cares that much.
Right now I'm suspicious of anyone tiptoeing around the Rej lynch by not talking about it or just "Why is Rej being lynched guyezz?" (Looking at you, Jack). I don't see any town motivation to not get into the discussion unless you're going to something else. This is also why I don't really like Quin.
@Rej - If you are actually town here, this is a golden opportunity to gather a lot of analysis and reads.

And you were comfortable erasing all pressure that comes from your vote by advertising that it's only 'for reactions'?Creature wrote: ↑Fri Jul 26, 2019 8:52 amYes, I do believe my vote. Also, I don't votepark on a pet scumread. Usually that ends in a: what player ends looking the most annoying? rather than real non-town. We make wagons so we get to tell something about them and also prevent day stagnancy.

I have not given much thought to the Timmer/Rej relationship. It exists. I'm not usually in the habit of looking for potential partnerships on Day 1. I've never played with Rej before and timmer is a player who I usually am able to get a good grasp on in the middle stages of games.
At the other one- I will try to kill Sloonei early when I am scum because I am now permanently scared of him.
To further the point to Dom, if scum wants to kill Sloonei on average early, the town does not want to kill Sloonei on average early
