Gonna go with INH for MVP, since he was the only one to actually take out a baddie.

I noticed that. I still felt good about gleam until the very end but when I saw your vote change I was pretty confident you were badBullzeye wrote:I cannot believe that actually worked! Wow! Well played everyone, this was a lot of fun.
Linki Quin - I wouldn't worry about it, we could just as easily have piled our votes onto you. We counted on being too quick for anyone to react

What's supposed to happen with that? The titan with the one-shot bulletproof ability is still active so if we lynch them today we'll be tied up 2:2 for the next day phase

For everyone being on board with lynching marmot, I'm seeing a severe lack of votes that would suggest that. Even if there were, you've basically just said that you'd be willing to drop a suspicion you've had the entire game just because someone else voted for them, a vote which may just as easily be a bus attempt at this point than a mislynch.

Re: Day 6: Attack on Titan Heist: The Battle of Trost
Lastly, zebra.
I started off by having a look at the posts of who she replaced, Goldy. He only made two posts, with only one being game related.
I feel like he might have been reading way too much into the day 0 poll at the time, or maybe he felt like he needed to justify his vote somehow. He expresses a scum read for INH but doesn't back it up.
She opposes the idea of a policy lynch too. Makes me feel better, but I wish it came along with some sort of reasoning.
It seems like she's reaching with this argument, though she's calling Bullzeye out for the same thing. I think it's clear that he's expressing a solid scum read for MP here. It kind of feels to me like zebra's trying to debate something for the sake of confusing people, because I'm pretty confused.
I refer you back to what I said about her voting gleam for a really pointless reason while interrogating Bullzeye who would be much more deserving of her vote at the time.
As a whole, zebra's approach to this game has been a lot of 'I'm right, you're wrong'. This is just one example of that. It's highly authoritative and it's given her a lot of steer power over the flow of the thread. I don't think she's used that power for town's benefit, either. She's been stuck on Bullzeye, sig and the marmot pretty much half the game and is direct in 'actively opposing anything else'
She'd just spent almost an entire phase doing almost nothing else but interrogating Bullzeye, and then voted metalmarsh the next day. I refer back to the fact that she was voting gleam before and didn't come back to that. Gleam, did that question thing with Wilgy ever get resolved?
Don't like this one either. The opposition to the vote wasn't 'I don't think he's bad' it was 'I'm usually wrong about him so I'll take past game history and let that guide my vote'. Massive ping.
Well, uh.
Zebra's advocating a marmot lynch and when someone agrees she defends him against the accusation. Waddup?
These are some massive contradictions. Early on it's Bullzeye, bullzeye, bullzeye! and she votes gleam/marmot. Now, it's marmot, marmot marmot! and she's finally putting the vote down on bullzeye I would've expected like, Day 2? Nah.
I think my vote's gonna stay where it is.

Re: Day 6: Attack on Titan Heist: The Battle of Trost
Marmot!
Not sure it's alignment indicative, but god damn, if this wasn't intentional I'll eat a titan.
I, uhm. I don't know. Unless he was voting someone, there's really not a lot to say. He really is the fluffiest titan you ever saw. The most notable posts of his are where he lays a vote down, but he doesn't justify any of them. Rather, I expect that he voted at a time where the state of the thread was justification enough, which makes evaluating it now a pain in the ass. Not a good sign. But as I said before, he looks less bad given the way Wilgy interacted with him.

Re: Day 6: Attack on Titan Heist: The Battle of Trost
Next up, Gleam.
Yes.
I'm pinged slightly in the last sentence of this post. This is in response to the silver/ika/mp fiasco, of course. I don't think it's realistic for him to put down behaviour as character indicative when he didn't know which character Silver was playing as. But then again, as a mafia he wouldn't have this information either. Either way, it was a weak argument.
In context, gleam votes leetic because he didn't agree with the lynch of Quin 1.0. I think his defense is solid, he's previously expressed town reads for silver, ika, quin 1.0, epi, whoever, whatever.
Similar to bullzeye, he's pretty actively opposing the policy lynch suggested by MP. I prefer the argument made by gleam to the one bullzeye made though. This is on the grounds of having no information that would justify lynching an inactive, bullzeye's is moreso expressing that there's no room to lynch inactives for the sake of lynching inactives.
Out of all of us, gleam is the only one to ever put a vote down for Wilgy. The polls have gleam down as not having voted for Day 3 (when this post was made), though. I found myself nodding along to his comment about zebra and wilgy being teammates though. I'll get to him, but a lot of what I read while ISO'ing gleam helped me form a better view on zebra.
---
Another townie. I'm most confident about gleam being town than I am about pretty much anything else at this point. I'll cover my face with my hands and run away in shame if he ever flips bad

Re: Day 6: Attack on Titan Heist: The Battle of Trost
The first of the ISO's, starting with Bullzeye.
A vote for Quin 1.0, based on his opinions on Silverwolf. He was wrong, clearly, but I can appreciate his reasoning and expectations. Although, he never refers back to this lynch which was supposed to 'colour his opinions', which is something I'd expect at some point.
He votes to lynch the person suggesting a policy lynch on inactives. I feel good considering he's pretty forward in opposing the idea of lynching townies out of policy and even makes a point that there aren't enough players to justify wasting lynches on it.
He votes Serge, following the majority. Going off the poll history, he was the one who tied up the votes between Serge and the marmot.
I like Bullzeye's uncertainty in these two posts. The time stamps are 12 minutes apart, and since he used the word 'skimming' makes me feel like he actually did read gleam and my posts to bring him to this conclusion. Were he mafia, I'm sure he would've left his train of thought going for gleam or I because he was setting himself up that way. There's no poll for Day 5 to check how the votes looked at EoD that I can find though, which makes evaluating his motivations a bit difficult.
---
Overall, factoring in my vibes from earlier and his interactions with Wilgy, I'm gonna put Bullzeye down as civ. I think he has a civ-minded attitude to the game, he's asking questions and he's not trying to avoid attention.

Re: Day 6: Attack on Titan Heist: The Battle of Trost
Alright, let's do a wall post. I'll point out any interactions that speak out to me between Wilgy and the living players in this one and then come back and ISO everyone individually after.
For the most part, it's fluff, especially between himself and the marmot.
On to some semi-serious but still kinda fluffy post analysis, let's talk about this one conversation with zebra.
Reading back for context, all I could find was this, which I've coloured:
This isn't a game specific question, so I think it's odd that Wilgy would hold onto a vote at the time for it. Before this becomes me arguing the case for a proven scum, I'll get to my point. Well, two points, actually. One, is holding on to the fact that Gleam never responded to this question and taking it as far as to lay a vote for it some form of distancing between Gleam and himself? Two, it is definitely weird that zebra would abandon his vote for Bullzeye which he was so keen on at the time just to get on board with a vote for gleam founded on the idea that he wouldn't answer this question.
So Bullzeye doesn't feel left out, here's a little snippet of conversation betwe- uh. No. There's nothing. Well, not nothing, but what there is doesn't seem to do much for my train of thought. It does give me something more to talk about in regards to the marmot, though.
Although this post actually existing might be justified by the context, I wasn't here for that. Right now it just seems unnecessary, as Wilgy *knows* the marmot is bad. Which, given his own alignment doesn't surprise me. Completely contradictory to what I just said about this post not helping, this could be spun to look like an attempt to set him up for a lynch. I'll elaborate more on this in his ISO.
If this was an attempt to set these two up for a lynch, I don't know how well it would work. I don't think I'd be motivated enough to lynch someone because they missed a vote. I'd hope that they didn't skip votes as a mafia tactic, because I've got to have faith everyone's playing with integrity. If I were to take something out of this post, I'd put it down as a setup job. I don't think this post would exist if one of the two were bad, even if it was a bus.
---
With this, I guess my rainbow list isn't so much a rainbow list anymore, more like a big mix of orange. Except gleam, who's been bumped down to a disgusting earwaxy yellow colour.
I'll do ISO's as well, but right now my vote goes to zebra because 1. I think he came out looking the worst from Wilgy's flip, and 2. I really hate clicking the view votes button every time I visit to make sure nothing's changed.

At some point I'll get all my in-thread evidence out and come up with a vote I can get behind, but I would very much like to get the insight of the other three before I do so. I think I'll keep it for tomorrow though. That is assuming we're still doing the 48 hour days after what Draconus said earlier about shortening it. I think I'll have time either way though.

From your perspective then, are you saying that gleam and the marmot are our baddies?Bullzeye wrote:So... INH may have just won us the game there. Good work!
I can't understand why Gleam would be at the top of anyone's rainbow list. I can't think of a single thing he's done all game. Zebra is funnily enough the only person other than me that I actually believe to be a civ. At this point I'm sure MM is bad and that someone did vote Sig in a bid to save him early on. Here's why it wasn't me: Knowing what we know now about Wilgy, if I'd been a baddie during the previous lynch I latched on to INH's case for distancing purposes, safe in the knowledge that MM would show up to vote Sig and save himself. No saving necessary.Quin wrote:Without going into any particular detail, here's a rainbow list based entirely on my vibes on everyone as of right now. I guess in hindsight the fact that the mafia actually allowed a three way tie to exist earlier should have meant that it was unlikely any of the three were bad. With that, I have my doubts about the marmot being bad.
Since the game's still not over I guess this means we have another day, unless there's a reason outside of the civ/maf ratio to warrant it to continue.

Re: Day 4: Attack on Titan Heist: The Battle of Trost
So that was either because of eren's secret ability or overall inactivity of the mafia. What are the odds of three baddies all forgetting to do a kill? Or is this is a ploy to make us think baddies are inactive? Find out next time on Attack on Titan Z!

I feel like I should apologise for sub-par activity since replacing again. I've got a report due in 2 days, but if I'm still alive by the time I submit it I'll definitely pick up my socks. plz 4giv.
Meanwhile, I don't intend to move my vote. sig's reasoning and overall behaviour came off the worst among those who lynched that Quin 1.0 guy, and I, Quin 2.0, firmly believe he is a bad.

Quin 2.0 votes sig, because sig is a bad dude. Of course, this vote has nothing to do with Quin 1.0, owing simply to the fact that I am not Quin 1.0, I am Quin 2.0.

I didn't and don't expect an apology. Draconus told me it'd be a crappy situation to replace into in the first place and I did it anyway. For mafia! Or town, I guess it depends on your thing.

I mentioned that his and Wilgy's interaction on Day 0 was pretty much fluff, and that it was uncharacteristic of sig to participate in it.rabbit8 wrote:sig wrote:Semi serious, I doubt I'll leave it on Quin, but him picking at my fluff is pingy.rabbit8 wrote:Is this a serious accusation? There's some fluff conversation between sig and wilgy early on. Wilgy joking about being scum isn't surprising, but I haven't seen that sort of thing from sig before. ika (Epi) picked up on sig too, but his reasoning just comes down to guts so it's credibility is something to be desired. Although, if sig ever flipped bad I think that would favour Epi somewhat.
Placing a resting vote on sig, because why not.
This all goes up to about page 5, but I've got to stop for a minute. I'll come back.

On a more serious note, I've joked around about being bad before. It was very early day 0 fluff there was no meaning behind it what so ever. I find it strange you're trying to give it a meaning when it was clearly fluffyness.
It's hard to tell since you guys, girls (some gender neutral nonsense here) just throw your votes around like their meaningless.

Don't lynch me and you will, lynch me and you won'tMovingPictures07 wrote:I'm currently really busy, so I'll be back to generate some juicy content either late tonight or sometime tomorrow before EoD.
For now, I have the following brief thoughts:
- I'm willing to tentatively throw out slight town reads of insertnamehere, leetic, and Epignosis/ika. I don't want to vote for any of them today due to their contributions, which all thus far seem genuine to me with respect to solving the game.
- I was going to slightly mafia read Silverwolf, but then she flew off the rails and I'm not sure what to make of all of that. Unfortunately for Quin, I still think Silverwolf was suspicious for latching onto the suspicion of me after ika started going after me as well as for her insistence of things that just weren't true (like that I was trying to get people to not form reads on ika, wtf?). It didn't read genuine to me, like instead she doubled down on aggressively pursuing me instead of recognizing she made a faulty point. I don't believe a town Silverwolf would fail to recognize when she was mistaken, but I'm not sure how confidently I believe that. I'd like to give Quin a chance, but... I don't currently have any other slight mafia reads and I'm torn between voting for him due to his predecessor's actions and going the route of a low poster policy lynch (as Epi suggested).
So... I'd like to see more from Quin (and many others), in an attempt to better direct this Day 1 lynch if at all possible. I always feel torn on low poster policy lynches; I can pick up what Epi is putting down but I can also pick up what leetic is putting down, and I'd ideally rather lynch someone I'm legitimately suspicious of than someone who just isn't here, at least on Day 1. But I've also seen too many games here in which town was too hesitant to pursue low posters not only Day 1 but throughout the game, to their demise.

I'll most definitely talk about things when I come across them but from experience it's hard to get the ball rolling until day 2. I realise your perception of Silver doesn't reflect that greatly on me right now, but as I said about Epi, GIVE ME A CHANCE, MAN!!!!!

Points of interest - pardon me for not drawing quotes, I can't be assed with that right now.

MP pushes ika (Epi) to elaborated more on his reads, which I like to see. I didn't see his retaliation as suspicious either. I agree with the principle of what he was trying to say too - you need more than guts for your speculations to be considered credible. He does say that there's no reason to be throwing out reads, although i can think of about 10 reasons why throwing out reads is a good thing. I think it's interesting that he defended ika from the new players before anybody had actually expressed a read of him either way though. Interesting meaning, it's definitely indicative of an alignment, but I have no idea which one. I don't really interpret what rabbit and insertnamehere have said up to that point as expressing a read, personally. Irregardless, I'll definitely be comparing this degree of helpfulness against his further actions and i recommend others do so as well. Right now, i'd say that I think MP cares too much about preserving townies to be bad though.
ika himself was a bit of a flipflop while he was here. I personally can't get on board with straight gut reads that aren't backed up by some form of evidence, because i can't differentiate it from a baddie throwing a name in the air and hoping it sticks and a casually playing townie. Either way, he runs with the 'discredit' argument pretty quickly which reflects on my perception of epi right now. He used the 'silver is the only person who understands my game' argument, which I don't like either. Without sparking up this whole argument again, I'll just say that I think this is nonsensical, considering ika has been here about as long as I have and has most definitely played more games. We've all gotten used to his play style and meta by now and I'm sure he knows that. Of course, I don't want to put a vote on Epi just because of how I've perceived ika, because he's got no counter argument and ika can't defend himself now. I'd rather wait and see what I think of Epi's contributions first, or it'd be ironic and unfair on him since the exact same thing could happen to me since I replaced Silver.
Placing a resting vote on sig, because why not.
