His vote for Mac yesterday suggested he put earnest thought into it and I thought it looked good, and has otherwise looked like a typical marmot, according to my sources.

Made also had a good looking Mac vote yesterday and I don't get any sense that he is lying or making any calculated moves in his posts. He just seems to be sharing his thoughts when he has them. I would not classify him as a strong town read, though.

Forced how? Do tell.
It is tough to do without being able to look back on the old posts, but from my recollection you appeared to latch onto something early (Wilgy's supposed slip, I believe) and held onto it as the basis for your lone suspicion for a little while. One thing that I look for in baddies is an insistence on their initial suspect. I think sometimes a player who is bad will pick one player to target as their suspect early in a game, and will stick with that suspect to avoid being accused of not contributing original thoughts.
I forget how you finished the day and I have mostly liked your contributions here today.

Linki-GTH?
Gun To Head. The exercise works like this: We go through the complete list of players a couple at a time, and everyone gives a Gun-to-head read of that player; either civ or bad/town or scum/etc.. The object is to force everyone to take a stance on everyone else. No neutral reads allowed, just a quick gut reaction. Afterwards we compare results and discuss from there. It works best if there's a good amount of people participating, obviously.

Does it make a difference to you that Soneji voted for sig on Day 1?

Linki: I'll read you later.
Easy distancing perhaps? People voting for each other in a thread with changeable votes doesn't mean much for gauging connection.

Linki @Prisoner. OK.

I have said what she did, but am happy to do so again. In the other thread, she made one big post where she said she felt Made and Wilgy were getting a bad rap. She did this without pointing fingers at anyone who might be giving them a bad rap, though. Then she wrote several sentences saying nothing, and said that she felt OK about me, LC and (???). "Same old same old" kind of thing. No negative opinions, or even remotely critical, about anyone. Bea and I have a long history. I want to know where she is at. So far I am not sure she is at the same place I am. I am not sure she has expressed even one remote suspect. Bea is always polite, but Bea does not shrink from speaking her mind, even if it is in a very passive way.

Bea is a huge question mark for me.

Not sure yet. It might stay there. Him and Made both pinged me with their wanting to focus on the other thread. I did a similar thing in a game with split threads like this when I was bad. Bea has also gotten my attention.

The majority of the people in this thread were people I had civ or null reads on. So I am pleased that we got split this way, it gives us time to develop reads on each other.

Refresh my memory - what leads you to believe I bussed Macdougall? I was one of the researchers for his meta.
Two posts in particular: First, you questioned Epi's suggestion that Mac was bad and said something to the effect of "Black Rock has the same amount of content." The second was your post about how you saw "no evidence" to suggest Mac was just low on time which we talked about a few hours ago.
What was suspicious about me questioning Epi? I wasn't going to just believe his assertion that Macdougall was bad without asking questions. Black Rock had the same amount of posts or one more than Macdougall and those posts also seemed to be devoid of content. I was asking Epi to differentiate between the two.

On the issue of me saying there was no evidence Mac was just low on time, I was asking you to explain why you stated with certainly that he was low on time when he never mentioned anything in the thread about it. You didn't state it as an opinion, you stated it as if it were fact. I questioned how you knew this as it seemed to me you had knowledge that the rest of us didn't - maybe because he was your bts partner. After we discussed this in the thread you asked for a third party to give you an opinion about this interaction. Llama stated he thought I was right to ask you about your statements and you proceeded to question him as if his opinion - which you had asked for - was somehow wrong.

You seem to think I'm suspicious for asking questions. Have you never played with me before? Questioning is a hallmark of my style.
My sources can tell me nothing about you, but I do not suspect you for asking questions. I am all in favor of questions and if you are town, those were good questions to ask.
I am suspicious because of the potential relationship with Macdougall reflected in the questions. In the first post, it appeared that you could have been setting up a soft defense of Mac by offering to substitute Black Rock in his place (I recognize the irony of this accusation).
The second post looked like you possibly had already made up your mind to bus Mac (assuming you are bad) and were willfully ignoring alternative possibilities.

I have come off of that second point some after talking with llama earlier. I was initially incredulous about not being able to see that Mac was simply busy IRL from his lack of posts, but it seems I am in the minority on that issue.

Two posts in particular: First, you questioned Epi's suggestion that Mac was bad and said something to the effect of "Black Rock has the same amount of content." The second was your post about how you saw "no evidence" to suggest Mac was just low on time which we talked about a few hours ago.

My analysis of the Macdougall voters for potential bussers led me to name llama and juliets as the two most likely candidates. Llama is otherwise a civ read. Juliets is an uncertainty, so for the sake of discussion I'll call her my top suspect here.
