Why?
And doesn't Plat wanting to chop LC D1 weigh that out?

Yeah, they get to pick. So self considered strong team then.Dyslexicon wrote: ↑Sat May 15, 2021 6:02 am Wait, I don't know if they choose or if they just know what roles town get.
So if mafia chose vig, mafia consider themselves a strong team. Which doesn't give us much, cause Plat would consider them a strong team just from him being on it lol. But yeah.NANOOKTHEGREATANDFEARSOME wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 11:09 pm Vig is usually negative utility for town
Especially in this playerlist
Another reason to TR lc btw he'd be at risk from a vig shot
Yes and yes. And hollow firmly town to me too now.hollowkatt wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 11:09 pminvictius would know the roles handed out by wolves, he claims vig hoping to out the vig he knows exists. nanook playing like there's no vig in play is a derp, but it's fine b/c he's most likely town
Alright, good. I'll take this then. I honestly wasn't sure, cause I thought HK likes to distance pretty hard. But also, that seems a bit unnecessary, and I know Plat doesn't like to bus unless he needs to, and probably wouldn't want HK to do it to him. So probably town. Didn't read their back and forth, but I will at some point.NANOOKTHEGREATANDFEARSOME wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 10:44 pm HK on the other hand has a back and forth i think is unlikely to be teamed, knowing hk
So I'm still keeping him clear
That's fine. But I did have the same reads, roughly, and we pushed in the same direction. Pretty much tandem. I did it out of my own reads and took it as encouragement that Plat had the same thoughts (cause I thought he was town). That happened naturally, I didn't see Plat as scum. I don't think I ever line myself up that close with a teammate, especially when the situation is we know each other but nobody else knows him. I really just thought he should be town here, and this is very much how we work when we are both town (which has been almost every game we've played together).NANOOKTHEGREATANDFEARSOME wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 10:38 pm Like there's some nebulous kinda vague "maybe plat was trying to pocket" stuff but I don't see anything jn their interactions that makes me go "yeah these two are never partners," especially on dizzy's end, they're just kinda flaccid stuff
Kinda understandable, but I'm town. I totally did not expect Plat to be scum here. I've seen him as scum once, and he was more high strung and controlling than normal. In this game he was calmer than normal, I'd say. And I had the same reactions/reads as him D1, so I just thought he was most likely town.
I'm the JOAT!staypositivefriend wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 8:26 pm i retract btw, i just wanted to force him to out himself =)
You 100 % didn't need to do this. Plat would never shoot Finger there. Oh well.staypositivefriend wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 8:22 pm well w/e, i don't care if this dude wants to fish my role out. i CC vig. i did not shoot last night
you can go into anti-spew now
Good targeting then. I do wish you did this later in the day, so he had all day to post thinking he wasn't outed. Maybe consider that next time.
I guess. And at the same time, how did he even think that mafia would know who the pts are, that's an insane mechanic lol. But also, yes, it would be a very convoluted thing to fake.staypositivefriend wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 7:03 pmi might be gullible but i find it kind of villagery for nanook to go out of his way to craft a townread on someone based on their misunderstanding of the setup, all while saying: "no more townslips about the setup will be accepted", while inadvertently basing their read on a misunderstanding of how the setup works
this is such a convoluted thought process for nanook to have that im tempted to call it villager indicative
Mafia knowing who is pt makes 0 % sense.NANOOKTHEGREATANDFEARSOME wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 6:55 pm Oh maybe I should read the setup, they know what roles there are but not who has them
Nvm that read then
Right then. He could go either way imo. Crap shoot. Just sucks if he's town and we chop a lhf that didn't get time to play.Alison wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 5:55 pmYes. He tries to fake his town meta, but is usually more passive and insipid. It fits with his play this game.Dyslexicon wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 5:55 pmHave you seen him as mafia?Alison wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 5:53 pm Falcon is usually an aggressive, paranoid player who pokes and jabs at people to find out their alignment. If one flipped scum, I'd look into the other, depending. /random connection that I have good enough success with historically to out in thread.DkKoba wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 5:54 pmwdym?Dyslexicon wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 5:54 pm Koba/spf - there could be a link there. If I'm not mistaken spf gave an awkwardly long response answering something about Koba. Could be some energy between them. /for later.

Maybe you do. Wasn't even that curious.TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 5:43 pmi didn't see the 119 next to your name and i scum read you all the time
Where's the friction? He seems like a default chop. I'm apathetic to his demise right now.DkKoba wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 5:45 pmyeah falcon flipping town is like my biggest concern but i think friction in trying to get that lim happening is like gamestate indicative they are scum - all i have to really go off of is their opportunistic vote on me as evidence as well as a PoE method of narrowing down where the pool of scum is.
If spf is scum, her teammates are likely not in danger. /some stock can go into that. She's not directing much.
Alright. I'm also content to leave him be for now.TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 5:31 pmThe Esooa test (I think it’s from esooa) is that gav is readable based on how many people openly want to policy him vs actually think he’s a wolf. In this game, Gav is not about to get himself policied, ergo, wolf. It’s uh. A questionable strategy. I think gav is town for other reasons but he also scumtells pretty significantly when he’s a wolf so best left alone for now IMO
Expand?TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 5:08 pm I think it’s a bad vote maybe but he feels a little subdued here maybe. By the esooa test of Gav he’s currently failing.
You hounding people who don't have the time to be around or are slower in their process if having a negative effect. Try to find a different way to reach out to the ones you want more from, is my tip.
Meh post.staypositivefriend wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 4:39 pm this is rough. i don't actively wolfread any of the highly active posters, but it's impossible to get an accurate read on the lower posters because they aren't .....posting. i feel partially like i am stumbling blindly in the dark based off of way too little information
Do you have an opinion on LC btw?NANOOKTHEGREATANDFEARSOME wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 2:28 pmEh, i don't really count that, but sure
Still think he's where I'd like to push today
Both me and spf town read his entrance immediately. We have both still softened that read. He's hardly been around.NANOOKTHEGREATANDFEARSOME wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 2:20 pmYeah game flow and lack of townread is pretty accurate, combined with afaik none of my townreads are townreading him
That may or may not still be true i haven't caught up
Back to this a bit.Long Con wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 9:26 amAnd you could replace Nanook's name with mine in your post and it would be equally, if not more, true. And yet you have a lazy whatever vote on me, and you're Nanook's top apologist in every other post you make. Super fine.Dyslexicon wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 4:02 am @DkKoba Your frustration with Nanook is understandable, and something I've seen a lot. But I think leaning into that frustration is a distraction for the game and for you. I don't think it helps solving. Nanook has a history of making players feel exactly this way about his play. If it help, keep this in mind, that Nanook is experienced, but he plays for fun/to chill, and he has actually given some thoughts (although maybe few and not well explained.) If it still pisses you off, I suggest you'd just ignore it. Several people in this game have a history with reading Nanook pretty well. If he doesn't show up for town, he'll get chopped eventually. I get the impatience, but it's not getting us anywhere.
Good. We need [stuff]hollowkatt wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 1:44 pmI am happy with my invictus vote! I'll do some quotehacks ISO work later to prove it
Highly depends on the underpants imohollowkatt wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 1:45 pmSpeak for yourself, I want nothing to do with mafia players underpants
