This is a link to a Stardate Calculator, once you figure out how old your character is you can of course count back the years from our current starting time frame which is at the turn of the year from December of 2370 essentially.

This is where the majority of our specifications came from for the ship to start. If you ever what to look up something about a ship class, this is a decent place to start.
