Re: Battlestar Galactica Mafia - Day Six

I said Wigly's a cylon and you said "certain yet again"
And I said yes, because he said that he's a good cylon. He admits to being a cylon.

You're wrong on both counts. Neither Wilgy nor Glorfindel will be a successful lynch regardless of whether or not either or both of them claim.

We will get nothing if we lynch either of them. Nothing. Except the game might be over faster.
Wilgy can no longer claim;

No, you mentioned Wigly. Wigly did that.

linki - I know that's not what you said. I read what you said. I said something else to respond to it. Read.

And you've never played with me, but I'm a top suspect? I Have been right about Nutella, LoRab, Wigly all being cylons and was right about LC being bad and you have NO meta to go off of for me and I'm a top suspect. Not the CONFIRMED CYLON Wigly? Not Glor, who silver so unceremoniously hinted at night time knowledge about? (Not saying I agree with her doing it that way, but if the information is out there we might as well use it.)

I think your goal in the game is to stir the pot and say and do the exact opposite of what you actually feel. Or, you are one of the weirdest mafia players I've ever seen.

I agree with most of this post. Mathematically speaking, it is doubtful that Wigly is a protown cylon. We likely only have one more, if even that, so how many people are instantly assuming he is that one is frightening. The difference between this and the Epig lynch, is Epig was confirmed to be a protown cylon afterwards, Wigly was not. Wigly could be Six, or even Cavil. Ok so let me just point out the obvious here. There is one "possibly Civ" cylon left (Capricia six) and we have two confirmed cylons alive (Sig and Wigly). You realize that in the LEAST, one of them has to be bad, right? And they both hinted that they are six. Does no one else see this? Seriously? I'm in shock that we are even talking about people outside of these two (well, and glor because Silver didn't try to really hide that one if we are to believe her.) we are still out to kill mafia right?!??

And even having read every post you made up until you started taking votes just this weekend, I don't recall a single opinion you have held.

I have also said that I am going to take Dex' word for whatever he saw, but I am also not going to apologize for or backpedal from how I felt before the lynch. So can you please dial back the aggression a tad?
Aggression? I don't mean to be aggro (sorry if it seemed that way).

A Wilgy cheatsheet:
Strongest opinions, Sig, BR, and Sokoth placed a vote on me after I stated that I was a toaster. This makes little to no civ sense considering their vote would be negated. Why use your strongest power as a civ, your vote, in a position where it wouldn't count.

Strong opinion, Sig's reaction to me taking his side against Epi vs me voting for him on behalf of Scotty was not what I expect out of a civillian Sig.

Medium opinion, OA and Silver are not on the same team. I believe they have been working together now for 3 cycles rather strongly. I don't think Mafia would allow for both of them to still be alive if they were on the same team.

Weak opinion, those defending me are likely civilian. Mafia have nothing to gain out of defending me since i'll flip cylon anyways + at the rate we are going a lynch on cylon Wilgy will probably be easy.

Things I'm looking for: BR and Silver's feedback regarding the events of last night and the content I created. Also, any opinions regarding my thoughts on Sig.

Linki - Not that I would no sadly. If he's soul reading me as civilian I appreciate it, that and the above opinions are all I got.

How have Silver and I been working together? I defended her when people were using her character to attack her role. I said I didn't think her role was a bad one just because she got upset or emotional. I don't think I've said anything about silver before or since? Or maybe I agreed with her about LC but that's all I can really remember? How is that "working together"?

I'm sorry honey but I have no idea what you're saying. Try again?

Trying to catch up but going backwards because I forgot where I left off. Glad to see LC was exactly who I thought he was, and although I can't say much more on it, I think we haven't seen or heard the last of him.
What do you mean exactly who you thought he was? He turned out on paper the opposite of how I interpretyou to have thought it was.

Are you implying Cain Con wasan F5?
I knew he had to be one of two. At first I didn't consider Cain (I assumed Cavil) until it was brought in the thread, because I don't know the lore. But once it was, I knew he had to be one of the two. I couldn't talk about it (still can't say much) so I just dropped the subject completely rather than let myself get dragged into it and slip and say something I shouldn't.
One of "two"?

Still doesn't answer my last question.
Yes, I did. You said he was the opposite of who you interpreted I thought he was. When I was still talking about him, I thought he was Cavil. Then I had to stop talking about him. Then someone pointed out he could be Cain. I used what I thought and what I knew and questioned it myself, and decided he had to either be Cain or Cavil. Only, as I said, I couldn't talk about it because everyone will say "why's that" and I'll say "I can't say" and everyone will say "oh, that must make you a mafia!" like Wigly, Matt and Dex did. (Which is stupid because Matt knows exactly what I'm talking about which makes me think that Matt is mafia now seeing that LC was Cain not Cavil. II already think he and Wigly have BTSC and I know wigly's a bad mafia so it makes sense. )

Also - I find it hilarious that before y'all new he was a cylon y'all were SO SURE he was bad. Now that you now he's a cylon you're like.... "well maybe he's good?" What about all of the evidence that made you think he was bad before? That suddenly is nullified because he said he's good? Every cylon that gets caught in the amnesty crap is going to say they are good because they are trying to survive. Why is it that once he says that, y'all all suddenly forget everything you found suspicious before?

Whoa...whoa whoa whoa. Lol.

I could put this in green but I guess it's relevant so I won't. I'm having a marvelous time just so everyone knows. When I post stuff like "we need to pressure these toaster sympathizers" or "i don't even care if we lynch a civ!!", that's simply me getting into the game like hardcore. I mean no ill will towards any civvies who are still currently not claiming. IF we did lynch a civ who hadn't claimed, I wouldn't be sitting there, rubbing my hands together thinking "that guy (or gal) effin' deserved it! *meanface* "

Also it's funny Long Con was accusing SVS of this earlier, but I actually have been roleplaying a bit this game, but in the best interests (at least in my opinion) of the town. BSG is one of my fave shows of all time (again tho, like one of my other favorite shows of all time "LOST", the ending is meh) and it's been fun getting into my role.

Anyway, as I've stated before, lynch me or NK me or whatever I really don't care.
Epignosis wrote:Enough with this claiming bullshit. I'm going to start voting people who keep it up. Get to talking suspects or get to taking my vote.
Do you believe OA holds a position like the President or the Admiral? For her to be "unable" to say the phrase because of punishments, if we even believe that, she would have to carry one of these roles. Otherwise, I think she's bullshitting and bad. What do you think?

I kind of wish I voted Sokoth, tho. I think if he were civ, he would've saw Daisy claim and followed her lead. I know nothing about the guy, and I know others will look down on me for using my personal experience against him, but if it were my first game and I only had one person I knew in it, and I was a lonely civ, I'd probably be looking at my friend a lot more to see what he's doing. I dunno. I think Sokoth needs to go.

Per the "witch hunt", it looks like Polo and others (MM posted something about liking Glorfy's anti-claim stance? wut?) are backing down, so eff it, I will too. Honestly it's whatevs, if we lose at LYLO because of this, I'll expect a participation banner with the words "I told you so" on it.

How many players do we have in the game? 24, 25? Two-thirds of the town have agreed that claiming is in the town's best interest, so essentially, all of these players are anti-town as of now.

We need to put pressure on them. Do I think they're all "bad" ? No. Do I think Cavil and/or other bad cylons are hiding in this bunch? Absolutely.

I think we should start with OA, who can't claim cuz of "punishments" but will totes claim if we lynch LC despite "punishments".

ObscureAllure

Linki - Oh okay, nvm now she was "just kidding". Someone help me pressure her please.
Go for it. Anything under half isn't going to force me to do anything because it's not worth the punishment and any thing over half is just going to lynch me because claiming won't give me amnesty. So if I'm over half and I claim, I'll die anyway. Why would I even claim at that point? Why would I claim at all? Under majority vote I get punished and over I die. The only thing you're going to pressure me in to is getting pissed off.

She's said that she cannot claim because of some "punishment" or whatever, but earlier, I recall her saying "If we all lynch LC, I'll claim in two seconds!" or some such.

Whatevs, it all sounds bogus. Why would she be willing to claim just because we lynch LC? Does lynching LC have something to do with her "punishment" if she claims now? I doubt it.

Bogus.
I was being sarcastic with the "lynch LC and I'll claim" thing. I'm not claiming. EoS

Stop saying confirmed town. Confirmed town either means the thread saw their role OR you're info dumping. But you're not punished so that means you have no actual info to confirm them, so still stop saying it.

SD and Juliets - it's that people are saying "I don't see it, she didn't say anything what did she say?" Just because you didn't notice it doesn't mean it's not there.

Question for the thread. So I have this guard dog who was up barking all last night. Suddenly in the middle the night it stops. What do you guys think? Do you think the threat went away? Do you think the threat was actually a friendly neighbor? Do you think there was never any threat to begin with and I just need a new guard dog? Do you think someone tranquilized my dog to make it shut up? Do you think the dog was abducted by aliens? These are the things that keep Me Up at night.

What is your opinion of what I said earlier regarding Bea and OA?
I think OA has been acting absolutely nuts, and I don't believe for a minute that what she says about being punished for Cylon-claiming is true.

I don't think that makes her a baddie necessarily, because I think someone has done something to OA, Silverwolf, and Matt (and others have been alluded to, but I don't know). I think that OA is not allowed to say the words "Cylon" or "toaster" today for some reason, which is possibly related. I feel like they think I'm responsible for their current condition.

So... what about bea again?
I'm quoting this post for no other reason than that I like your face. :nicenod: :srsnod: :noble:

You did better than I did. Like SD, I couldn't find anything even remotely punishable in her posts prior to her smiley phase. I couldn't find anything that looked like a trigger, either, and I consider her specific claim - that she was punished for triggering an event - just bizarre.

Of all the excuses for not declaring cylon remaining, this may be, to me, the weakest, and therefore the most suspicious.
Even though I saw something for which I see she could be punished I agree that her using that punishment at this stage is the weakest of the reasons. Many of us have claimed and no one has sent out a warning to the others that punishment will come if you claim. Nor has Golden stepped in and given us all a warning quoting a rule and telling us that counts as breaking the rule. I believe one of those things would have happened if punishments go with claiming.

If OA is saying it's because of her specific role that she would be punished for claiming I don't know what exactly to think of that.
If someone gets in trouble for saying TOO MUCH, why do you keep demanding that she say MORE?! I mean, seriously people? Why are you actively *trying* to get me in trouble?! Shit in your inbox isn't allowed to be said or directly hinted at. I'm not going to point out to you what I said because I'll get I trouble again. I'm not going to clarify what it was that got me in trouble because I'll get in trouble again. Inbox she it off limits. THE END.

Linki: I don't think what Bea did constitutes punishment regardless of her role because she made a general statement wifom (If I was final five...) and Golden's rules are to not quote inbox or info dump inbox. To me what she said is neither. I'm not golden so that's not my decision, but I don't see how others are saying she role claimed or info dumped. (And I actually think she's a mafia and I'm saying this, so it's not a defense of her role ... It's a defense of her post.)

And this....

I've already received golden's wrath once this game, y'all done lost your marbles if you think I'm doing it again.
Oh yeah, and this....
ObscureAllure wrote:The difference between me and them is I think everyone *but me* should do it AND I've got evidence of my punishment for the last time I got too close to the fire. And they aren't my role. Everyone else has no excuse, so it opens the door for no one else.

ObscureAllure wrote:
Matt wrote:I never once said I'd rather lynch you or anyone else before Lorab.

Do you not agree, that by YOU saying you will not do this, it opens up the door for others to come in and say "Yeah I dun wanna get punished either so I dun wanna say it" ?

I don't get how you would get punished for saying "I'm not a Cylon". How is that even punishable in any legit universe?

I disagree because A) we've called it out, B) I have evidence of what I said and my punishment.

And it's punishable because I wasn't being a good little Teapot who sticks to her role and doesn't piss off the Golden God of Battlestar Gallactica lore. :noble:

Linki: yeah well neither does the message in my inbox (make sense) but I never watched the show so I just do as I'm told.

Linki: No, when you anger the gods of sticking to your role description, you definitely can get in trouble. I'm not explaining it much more than this because then I'll just get punished for outing my role or win con. I'm leaving it as this: this girl ain't claiming to be any robot Borg bender android looking mofos and that's final.
I am little perplexed by you right now OA. You seemed pretty damn clear that you somehow pissed off Golden with a statement that came too close to your role or something of that nature. You want to back track now?
Not back tracking. I said I didn't ROLE CLAIM. Didn't say I didn't get a PM about being careful what I said and talked in smiley for two days - because I did to both of those. It just wasn't for a ROLE CLAIM. I got a little to close to doing something else that's off limits, that's what I was fussed at about. I never once role claimed or came close to it so I can't get punished for something I didn't do. I spoke in smilies because of something else I said, NOT A ROLE CLAIM. Afterwards when Long Con said I was hinting at an info role I even came out and said NO that's not what I was hinting at and he had it wrong, but that I couldn't say anymore about it. I don't know why you're pretending that I ever said I got punished for a role claim because I didn't. I got fussed at for being to specific about something I'm not allowed to be specific about.

I think it's highly possible she was bad. I said before how much it looked like they had BTSC with each other. And the more I think about it, the more I think that there is either two mafias, or one that can recruit. Either way that left her a possible baddie as well. After all, we are out to get all cylons now, not just the *good* ones, right? :eyeroll: Tomorrow will be mighty interesting.
