Epignosis wrote: Mon Jan 29, 2024 12:48 am I don't doubt you want activity.

Tell you what.

I'll move my vote off of you if you name two people you want dead in this particular room right now and explain why.

And I won't vote for you again this Day. You have my word.
You, if you're gonna be that fickle with your vote.

As for the second one, Scrappy Doo, assuming I am correct in my belief that it's some kind of ITP thing. If that's the case, we know they're not town and I don't trust ITPs as they will not hesitate to screw over town if it benefits their wincon and they often cause a lot of disruption besides. Granted, that would still be a shruglynch option but any Vigs/etc. are welcome to kill them in my book.

Still not liking leetic. Every point of reply oozing aggro. Is this an MO - and if so, which way leaning AI-wise? Pondered whether groupings are balanced, only to come with three quarters wolf GTH reads.
Do you really expect me to contrive townreads on people who haven't done anything towny? If a player has only done wolfy things, that's not my problem

Hate to use this term, but LAMIST
I suspect leetic and nutella have that advantage. Their Day 0 interaction was goofy and over the top. It was acting. Check it out.
Have you seen our interactions in Philosophy 2? That was nothing.
Unprompted, leetic brings up nutella in this thread by way of accusing me as though I can do jack shit about it. Acting.
You said I never suspected anyone, then I bring up someone I had openly suspected, and now you wanna play dumb?

Why use the term LAMIST if you dislike it, especially to describe a post that is borderline LAMIST?
I appreciate the irony. But seriously, there was no reason for that comment, it's not like it's an attempt to solve anything or ascertain the game state. If anything, it's almost a legitimate use of LAMIST. Almost.

I admire that.

I was working all day myself.

You're in Pennsylvania. Afternoon passed several hours ago.

My point is that I don't care about real life and I think you're stuck. You pretend to clamor for activity but don't really want it.
What exactly gives you the impression I don't want activity? I'm roasting people for not contributing, not for contributing

You should've seen me in the MU game and Severance, so why are you holding me to the standard of only this one game? Furthermore, that's a convenient wagon for you to join when you're starting to get pushback

Obligatory Zenon's Law mention
Define Zenon’s Law
First wagon to 3 votes has 1 mafia in the 4 names involved
If it has exceptions, it's not a law. Though I will still remember the game where despite bringing it up earlier you completely ignored it because it would've ended up indicting you

"Neutral at worst."

Let's give equally to an uninformed majority and an informed majority (who can better articulate with one another what to do with whatever this does).

Can someone else vote this individual out?
When you think about it, wolves are more likely to receive items due to their partners knowing who they are. That just ensures everything is balanced!
That's mathematically false.

Civilians are more likely to receive something simply because there are...you know...more of them.

Mafia can privately strategize, which is something that would be really helpful for me right now.
Civilians don't know who the other civilians are, what are you talking about

Okay.

Respond to this post with a name from the other list and I'll do the secret Santa thing with the person named.
I am currently preaching restraint on the gifts. Maybe discussion with the group before firing off advantages to other players of unknown alignment. Maybe there's someone who towntold during Night 0, with majority agreement? We could go all-in and shower that one player with many gifts.

Lots of possibilities, I just don't think treating it like an innocent subgame is a smart way to play.
Who said they would be advantages? I for one welcome the chaos.

Anyway, I wonder if we're split randomly or if there's a balance in some way. In Severance, it was pretty clear that there'd likely be an even amount of wolves on both sides for the most part (although PRs were pretty skewed) but I'm not sure that holds up here.
