Yeah except that I don't think at least one, maybe two of them, are bad, based on their posts and such. Like Boats said, maybe they get home from school/work at the same time

I am curious, DH (and I do like the diagrams, there are things in there that interest me), do you still suspect INH? Do you think you might vote for him, or for one of the people you charted? I want to know becasue i was considering following you in a vote for INH, but i got mightlly fishslapped before when I suggested it and it was pointed out that INH does not figure in your analysis.

What's up with that?

If they're incorrect it's because it was FH's voting order. And if it's showing an incorrect day 2 vote it's because they are the voting orders for day 3 and day 4.

Re: [DAY 5] Avant-Garde Mafia 2

Yay for no death :)

Hi Timmer~

And Trice, it isn't just Scott switching powers :D
The Mysterious Voice – Master and controller of many alternate dimensions. It is looking to invade and fully conquer the third dimension, and its first step in doing so is enslaving mankind and anything else that gets in its way. (Secrets) A power not to be trifled with, The Mysterious Voice starts off every lynch period with negative three votes against it. As the ultimate puppetmaster, The Mysterious Voice can select up to four players each night and switch around their night targets to its liking. Additionally, any night action that targets The Mysterious Voice is automatically redirected back at its sender until Herman the Planet Smasher dies.
Thank God for revealed secrets. This explains a lot IMO.

Re: [NIGHT 4] Avant-Garde Mafia 2

Basically, new player errors or quirks being blown out of hand. For instance, Droopy was lynched because he seemed to be part of a counter movement to save bea (the one baddie we have lynched) and then when people mentioned his name, he said he wanted to lynch low posters. He was rezzed.

Basicially, I think some of the more experienced players (like me, unfortunately) have been looking at inexperienced players with jaded eyes, if you get what i am getting at.

Well now, hold on. After night one you made a big deal about how DFaraday was a bad target to NK, which is why I and maybe a couple other people were looking at you, but now you've entirely changed your position to that it was redirected. Baddie slip up, or just taking your own theories too seriously?
LOL, I said that this was why i said that.

You have been trying WAAAAAAAYYYY too hard to paint me bad. As i recall you were looking at me, and a few people that understood what I was getting at and backed off.
No

More like, there is reason at all to believe that NK was redirected unless it was your NK
I assume you meant to say "More like, there is NO reason at all to believe that NK was redirected unless it was your NK"

Well, perhaps there were other powers besides kills that did not go as expected night one? Perhaps that might make someone think, along with the very unexpected NK target, that some targets may have been switched? I never changed my position~ as soon as people started saying this line of discussion was suspicious, I clarified my intent, and everyone but you dropped it. Forcing people to spell things out is not the civviest action, Trice.

Unfortunately, i have a tendency to do that myself, lol. A few times this game i have been mid post, writing something like, "Well why do you think that, don't you think there would have been a subtle ***** in the thread if ***** and..." and then realized that what I was actually replying to WAS a sublte ****, lol, and scrapped the post. So I am the last to suspect you for continually pushing this point. But do me a favor, read the roles, and see allllll the non baddie ways someone might know things may have been rotten in Denmark on Night One, OK?

And Epi, looking at the tone of the thread, i would not worry too much about those 3 votes. I see a few low level Vomp defenses popping into the thread which makes me feel better, but I'm still kinda paranoid after 2 'easy, obvious" lynches led to civs.

In addition to INH & DH, I also want to reread The Truth to see why someone wanted to kill him. Work today, so i may or may not have time to do this today, may have to wait until tonight.

Hard to tell whether surviving an NK is civ or baddie. Not even counting all the role secrets, I see multiple ways that somebody of either persuasion could survive an attempt. Not sure this result helps us label the two attempted targets at all. We don't even know if it's good or bad that they survived. We do know, though, that neither Ziltoid nor Herman killed a civ tonight for sure, so that's positive

And yeah, I don't see myself not voting vomps - barring a bad slip up
There are a lot of secrets, but seems to me most of the survivability powers are civ. Captain Spectacular survives Ziltoid attacks, Omnidimensional Creator can survive any attack, Mike Patton can impersonate Spectacular or the Creator to gain immunity. Moondog "conceals," Exuma "keeps away evil spirits," etc. I think it's significantly less likely that either of the survivors are baddies.
Except that it sounds like an entire baddie team has potential for an NK protect

• Ziltoidian Monk – He prays every night for the safety of Ziltoid and his comrades. If his prayer is successful, any members on his team may live to see another day. Naturally, he prays harder for his own survival than anyone else’s, however. (Secrets)

Based on the way he sounded at the end, I think he really is a civ, though.

Do you have any other suspicions, INH? How do you feel about Vomp?

Linki @ Rey~ me too, but then, you did not play Avant 1. Holy Shit, that game had all kinds of crazy crap, lol, i wouldn't put anything past MP. But like I said, I really do think Droopy is a civ.
Vomp's acting like he wants to be lynched, and doesn't really act as if he cares. This could just be that he just doesn't care anymore, or it could have some secret role magic involved. Or maybe he doesn't understand the game.
he played once before that i am aware of, and he was a very awesome first time player. He fooled a lot of people, and his randomness helped him do that. So while his own behavior is raising the brow, I am more curious as to why Beas team did not try to lynch him when she started taking votes.

If it was the whimsical behavior (although Rabbit might not consider taking votes from him for unexplained "personal reasons" to be whimsical) alone, or the Day 2 lynch alone, I would just watch, and not act. But both..

Still, after 2 reasonably unopposed civ lynches, the total lack of a defense is also making me second guess myself.

Were Vomp not on the table, who else would people be looking at?

SVS would like to hear more from chaindeath who also was suspected for potentially saving Bea. I am interested in Juliets' opinions as well, I like to know we see eye to eye.

Why? I know there are secrets, but without actually seeing a Seemer role, all it is is speculation. If he is NOT who he says he is, at least one person, Zappa, will know after the next night, because if Zappa has not already found Beefheart, he certainly will do so now. If someone is a Seemer, it certainly would be the worst possible thing to show up as a civ BTSC role, lol.

In all fairness, Droopy really did sound coached. I know that there is civ BTS in this game, and that Cap'n Beefheart is one of the roles with potential for it. I guess it is possible that Zappa found him already. Although the coached sounding things Droopy was saying were baddie sounding things, lol, things I don't see a civvie partner couching him to say.

I will say that with more experience under his belt, Droopy will be an awesome player (Leech as well), he had me wondering at the end; I hope he keeps playing. Sometimes if you are convinced someone is bad (and I was convinced he was bad, and since there was no question he would be lynched, I voted for the other person i am pretty convinced was bad, Vomp) it can be easy to read everything they say in that light. It is a common mistake, and i don;t really suspect anyone for doing it in this case.

Unless there is an outing or some astonishing development, I intend on voting for Vomp. When I reread Day One (something I would advise doing) I realized i had forgotten how suspicious Vomp really was during Day One. And the fact that there was this incredibly suspicious character that seemed to be everyones second choice for a lynch floating around when Bea needed saving, and that the Residents did not try to lynch him, but Rabbit instead who is not an easy person to lynch, really makes me think he is quite possibly a Resident himself.

juliets wrote:Hi everyone - I know some of you from other forums and then there are others that I'm not familiar with but look forward to playing with. Please give me a little bit of time to catch-up. Are there lynch records somewhere or should I create them as i read? Also, anything else i should know as I start this? Anything you're looking for an opinion from people on right now that I can keep in mind as I read?

I think i can be completely caught up by tomorrow though it looks like a daunting task. Thanks for any help you can give me!
