Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid. I love love LOVE Subarus for the full time AWD, and drove one for years. I really like the Crosstrek Hybrid, I don't need anything fancier.

I love them. I have driven across the USA alone (7/8ths of the way, lol, Long island to Kalispell, MT, near the MT/ID border) maybe half a dozen times, plus countless shorter trips. I drove Kalispell/Seattle at least a dozen times. Eastern Washington has the most austerely lovely, yet boring, landscape I have ever seen (and I include Nebraska & both Dakotas )

I play with my dog, take a walk, or both.

When I was a teenager, I had a dream that my brother was dead, and my mother refused to bury him. It was one of those dreams that feel real; when I woke up from it, the first thing i saw WAS my brother. I could have hugged him to death.
