Something you said Day Zero, before anyone knew there was an LD in the game. I can look later. I never got results cause I was blocked, then redirected to TH, and struck out with him, and the night I tried you again, I died.

Re: [ENDGAME] The Office Mafia
Oh, and I never had info on you. The only success I had was with Quin, when I checked one of Drums list statements & cleared him. I tried to check you and never succeeded. My opinion that you were bad was total gut. I thought you were incredibly obvious, but apparently I was the only oneEpignosis wrote:The timing and nature of your accusation against me made us think you were an info role, which is why we killed you. We could not risk you getting lynched, your role being revealed, and everyone going back and seeing you accused me.
Thanks Dom, fun while it lasted, and again, congrats winners

Re: [Day Eight] The Office Mafia
Assuming that what you can see is all that there is is a fairly common mistake people new to our culture make. We do secrets/items/etc. and may not necessarily disclose them until endgame. So no worries, lol. It was an understandable assumption to make re my vote.DrumBeats wrote:Also, Dom, what happened with SVS's vote then? Was it not forced or was it an item or something?
Also, thanks for hosting Dom!

Re: [ENDGAME] The Office Mafia
I am amazed everyone did not know you were bad. I thought you were so obvious, lol. And yeah, I figured that you did not want to risk the reveal. That was why I was surprised more people were not skeptical when I was NKed, or considered discussing my suspects. But well played! I probably would have done the same

Re: [ENDGAME] The Office Mafia
Yeah, I was signalling Quin with that. And generally, I really DO do what Sorsha quoted, wait till the end. But I wanted Quin to know.Scotty wrote:We were counting on her to vote early since Quin did so to her the previous day. And she delivered. We were around waiting for her to do so and end the day.DFaraday wrote:So when SVS's vote was forced, why did she vote immediately? And baddies, did you just happen to be around at the moment that happened and improvised?
My team wanted to kill Quin the night before but I had this nagging feeling that we needed to lynch him instead. So that was a very pleasant feeling to get that one right.

Re: [Day Eight] The Office Mafia
As Pam said repeatedly, Pam did not want to check statements about items. Pam wanted to find baddies telling lies.Quin wrote:Okay Dom, would Pam have been able to check my claim that items were in the game, even though I had no idea? Keep in mind it was structured as 'There are items in this game'LoRab wrote:Which is a statement of claim. Unlike the statements you were theorizing one could post to be checked. The quotes contain a factual statement that could be checked, that you knew the answer to, and weren't speculating about.Quin wrote:And you replied with...I'm really just trying to come up with something that hints the importance of not lynching me that can be backed up by a lie detector and also doesn't break the info dumping rule.
Would something like
'Alignment aside, if I am lynched, the mafia will be given a significant advantage over the town in the next night phase.' work?
Dom wrote:That's fine!
Although, Darryl must have been surprised that I guessed that. I honestly had no idea
Pam did use Drums list though, and got results
Sadly I kept checking Epignosis, and getting redirected or blocked or whatever, lol. Congrats baddies, solid game!

If Drumbeats says there is any information that says I am bad, as opposed to opinion, he is dead wrong. Since I am not bad.Scotty wrote:Well that's hardly fair. There's only a handful of us. I'm back and forth between you/SVS. Then Epi and Matt.
But how do you define a low-poster? Everyone living is a lower poster than you. timmer has 30 posts, though I'd still consider him a low poster to an extent.

How are we supposed to know if Pam checked any of the multiple things you suggest? My point is, I am not afraid to say them. Cause they're true. I voted early becasue I was trying to emphasize the similarity of our experiences to Quin. It is also my experience that when you have no choice but to do a thing, either do it immediately and get it out of the way, or wait until the last second and play stupid. For the reason I stated re Quin, I chose the former. Also I am all about open & honest this game, and playing dumb at the last minute does not seem to work with that.
@Daisy, sometimes TPTB just won;t let you say what you really want to say. And you (or me, lol) is sleepy and does it anyhow.

I am appalled that anyone thinks I am enough of an idiot to do this. I mean, I can be an idiot, but I am a player whose best use to a bad team is via manipulation & talking in thread, not out of self sacrifice. But whatevs, if you want to lynch me Drum, go for it. You will be dissappointed if you really expect me to flip bad.
Also, re the use of the word "forced"; has it occurred to you that I am not allowed to directly say I was targeted?
What other factual checkable statement would you like me to make?
Linki @Faraday, what do you think of my factual remarks? We have 2 nights in a row for Pam to check me. What factual questions would you like to ask me?

My vote was not the vote I would have liked to make. I am not on the team that killed Quin. I tried to do exactly what he did so he would get the parallel.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:S~V~S could have been forced. It'd require a baddie role to exist which parallels Meredith's or comes close. That's a guess, but it's plausible enough to consider. S~V~S seemed to imply that Quin understood her vote on some level, and he didn't react adversely to it. That's something she can talk about.
I was online, and even though I go invisible I was active in another thread so I guess they knew it. Maybe a member of the forcer team is online a lot?
In any case I am sorry to see Quin go. While I made the vote, I had nothing to do with his death knowingly. I was a victim, too.
Had I made the vote I would have liked to it would have been for Epignosis again. With certainty.

Re: [DAY ONE] The Office Mafia
Gotcha; I was wondering since you list Sorsha as Good and her two posts are totally content void (other than I hope she is enjoying camping or hiking or whatever she is doing), you know?JaggedJimmyJay wrote:I wouldn't say "default", since having a default kind of defeats the purpose of GTH reads. But if I have absolutely no idea whatsoever and I am not inspired to take either stance, I usually go with good.S~V~S wrote:Jay, is good your default?

Re: [DAY ONE] The Office Mafia
Ooooh, I guess I misunderstood? I thought she only controlled a limited number of votes, didn't I? So it would be impossible to pretend one was targeted by Meredith, wouldn't it?JaggedJimmyJay wrote:She controls the votes of everyone who missed the prior vote. She cannot place more than two of those votes on any one person. The 2-2-2-1 spread that INH has identified looks 100% Meredith to me, or it's at least compatible with her role.Quin wrote:Going off my interpretation of her role, she can control two non-voters votes, but they have to go to the same person. It's entirely possible I'm misinterpreting it and she can use everybody's votes, though.
But lay off me Meredith, I'm on your side!
linki @ Indi, when I smoked, yeah, that was perfect.

Fixed?
