Re: Scooby Doo: Monster Collective (Day1)
It's not that Seanzie hasn't been around. It's that Seanzie has had no townie fire while also claiming to be super fired up to win as town.

Re: Scooby Doo: Monster Collective (Day1)
CR indirectly defended Seanzie in what looks like a dishonest way (assuming there aren't in fact multiple players shielding Seanzie in the posts I haven't read) when he was an alternative to Jack/Neon and then was on board with yeeting Seanzie after the Seanzie wagon had already overtaken the Jack and Neon wagons.pyxxy wrote: ↑Wed Mar 08, 2023 6:38 pm"I would be unsurprised if CR and Seanzie are wolves together."Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 08, 2023 6:33 pm I would be unsurprised if CR and Seanzie are wolves together.
CR pushes Seanzie a bit early on with Creature (Creature way moreso) and Dunya gives him a single post of shit for it.
Fast forward half a day. Wagons are Jack and Neon. Reasoning for Seanzie being a wolf is still valid. CR says multiple players are shielding Seanzie. Maybe they're in the last few pages but it reads to me like "multiple players shielding Seanzie" is actually "Dunya made one post about not liking a push on Seanzie."
And now, after the Seanzie wagon has taken off in spite of CR's refusal to move there, now CR is sure Seanzie is a wolf.
Fucking reeks.
I think you are big wrong about this, but only because you posted like 3 minutes too soon.
CRichard seems pretty willing to push Seanzie here and I don't see how a D1 bus of Seanzie makes any sense for the wolves, when leaving Seanzie alone would keep him in the POE, and if he went full town/proved himself town in a worrying way, scum could just NK him N2 or N3.
Seanzie wolf here only makes sense if we've really caught him and maybe none of the other wolves are voting him yet. I don't feel the numbers yet to indicate that this is a bus.
Like, I agree with 100% of your observations and we noticed the same thing around the same time here. But I disagree with your conclusion that this could somehow be CRichard/Seanzie w/w

I would be unsurprised if CR and Seanzie are wolves together.

I am voting Seanzie because I expect the wagon on him to prompt him to do something this EOD rather than just sit around.
I really hope he doesn't show up after poll closed complaining about being mislynched D1. Why people only show up after EOD?
I mean. Why can't you correctly read me the way I correctly read you?

Or, if you want, I can help you decide who to lynch by voting with the majority of Dunya, Sig, and Lucy. Let's work together to win this game!
people this could be :
seanzie or fingersplints (but the whole "lesbians are cool" eliminates seanzie and splints i feel, not somthing they'd come up with)
Jack totally would...but too much in character posting and no jack-type typos o.o
the timing of scrappy's 3p claim is just bizarre, it's like an attempt at making us want to yeet them. playing like a jester-type of game who can only post night 0 and try to be the day 1 elim cos i have yet to see day 1 posts by them.
putting scrappy in (one of the most unlikeable characters) on n0 to reach some kind of condition for the player's vote count to be multiplied makes more sense to me (hence scrappy referring to three vote count power)
in conclusion, i actually think scrappy is a town player who had to claim 3p as part of their role, but not get elimmed d1 so their main role is activated or something and if they are eliminated d1, then their role isn't activated.![]()

i read the chihiro debacle with pyxxy with role pm lingo, which i specifically ban from happening from my games for the purpose of how gross it is and icky and stuff, and have a town lean on chihiro and pyxxy out of it for different reasons.

Also turns out votes are changeable, so that's nice.
By all means bury a wolf in front of me more so than what Pyxxy has provided on you and I may vote there if I find it sensible, just as I did with the mentioned suspicion on you.
If it's any consolation, I do find myself in agreement with both what you and Lucy are advising on Scrappy for now. If we don't know so much about the mechanics of the puppet, it doesn't make sense for the pro town answer to the puppet to just yeet it. Why would a game be designed to present slightly obfuscated mechanic, however it's still presented just for the answer to be 'break it immediately'. Feels like the type of adventurer who would do this would succumb to the attack of a mimic every single time.

some of y'all need to understand that different people play different ways, and TS especially historically has very bad experiences with 3ps scum-siding hard and costing town games.

Weird perspective. Like....both Neon and Sig are 100% all in on yeeting Scrappy. Idk why CR is townreading Neon and scumreading Sig about it.CRichard wrote: ↑Tue Mar 07, 2023 12:58 am Before I have a nap. Sig focusing on Scrappy so much is raising my eyebrows.
It feels like that if they're mafia, that's the only slot they can feasibly scum read because as mafia pushing on the 3p claim as a scumread means they don't have to remember what they said/done.
Which incidentally would clear Neon as town, because again two mafia voting on the same slot early D1 is unlikely to say the least.
Neon admittedly is a slot that gets my paranoia up, because they are quite capable of carrying as mafia and I've seen it happen at least twice off site.
Neon!mafia would also point towards Sig as town for same reasons above.

This is legit my biggest suspect. Seanzie doesn't feel like himself.
Why did I suspect Neon again? Was it 3P related? Probably me being anti policy and thinking Neon's policy was wolf indicative. But Neon's posts around this time where she digs her feet in and insists on a 3P yeet, says she won't do anything else until she gets her way and challenges people to yeet her if they disagree? Those aren't any more protown but they are more town indicative, ya know?

His pointing to Roxy and Wilgy are decent ideas. Based on my incomplete ketchup (ie you are not allowed to get mad at me if I'm saying untrue things lol), Roxy hasn't said anying that has stuck with me and the only thing Wilgy did was push Chihiro based on role confusion from Pyxxy.
A quick glance at the player list. Dunya and Fingersplints are in this game?

Re: Scooby Doo: Monster Collective (Day1)
I think I'm gonna ignore any discussion of 3P from page 10 to page 21 and if that leaves anyone with barely any content, well there you go that can be wolfy.

Re: Scooby Doo: Monster Collective (Day1)
Honestly, the amount this game revolves around the 3p slot is cancerous.
It's partly my own fault for not generating my own content, but the amount how bloodthirsty or protown or anti antitown townies that is affecting my reads is just kinda terrible given philosophical differences on topic and a number of players I don't know or know super well. Like I can say with confidence thait Sig could do what he is doing as a townie but what Chihiro is doing is harder for me to know with certainty.

Omega doesn't need to be flipped to know her own alignment, though.CRichard wrote: ↑Wed Mar 08, 2023 5:12 pmWithout flips, it's not possible to feasibly accuse someone of TMI and therefore using that as a reason to call someone mafia makes no sense.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 08, 2023 5:11 pmDo wolves not have tmi on D1? Idk it comes off as a white knight mafia
When do people learn TMI accusations on D! hold no water?

Hour and 45 by my watch. I'd hurry if I were you, there isn't much time left today.

Re: Scooby Doo: Monster Collective (Night 0)
Yeah, this whole thing is just me and Chihiro not understanding what Pyxxy is initially saying because he words it poorly (lol sorry, bud).pyxxy wrote: ↑Mon Mar 06, 2023 4:02 pmI'm saying the exact opposite and I'm accusing Chihiro of being a wolf for seeming to not know that locations are linked to monsters, because reading a town role pm would make it obvious that they are.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 06, 2023 3:58 pm Without actually going back and watching the episode or using a wiki, my location does appear to be related to my character. Weird that Pxy would say it's random. #weird
I think this is t/t from this interaction alone. More sure on Pyxxy. So semistrong townread on Pyxxy and kinda a lot of weak reasons to scumread and townread Chihiro. Probably because I don't really know Chihiro.
Super useful shit, me.

Re: Scooby Doo: Monster Collective (Night 0)
I totes misread this post several times. Still townread Pyxxy. Maybe a little less but meh.pyxxy wrote: ↑Mon Mar 06, 2023 3:53 pmIf you make the assumption that locations are not randomly assigned to each monster, then you are wrong. If you believe that locations have been randomly assigned to each monster, then you are right.
Do you have reason to believe that the locations are randomly assigned?
Or more likely...you didn't have a reason to assume that monsters are associated with locations...I wonder why that would be........

Having actually read to this point, I have a very slight townread on Sig.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 06, 2023 3:46 pmI haven't read the posts in question but it's on brand for Sig in general. I wouldn't take it to be alignment indicative.

Yes. You are wrong.CRichard wrote: ↑Tue Mar 07, 2023 10:36 pmOverreaction? I wonder. Yet saying Falcon's vote on me is "semivalid" is tacit agreement with said vote.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 07, 2023 10:30 pm Weird overreaction to me calling a push on CR "semivalid" but whatever I'm not really getting much of a read out of it.
Am I wrong?
The read was about Falcon, not you. I'd only vote for a player based on semivalid reasoning if I didn't have any other reason to scumread anyone else. So duh of course I didn't vote for you.
