Suffice to say that someone went and did our young larrakin Quin a bit harsh. You know what I mean? He looks a bit crook. Looks a bit legless. We found the boy and well let's just say he won't be out there rootin' any more shielas any time soon. Or rootin' around. Or rootin' at all really. Seems someone made a flanno out of his skin. Might be a bit of a clue? Maybe not? Yeah nah it's not. Just a furphy to be right. Bloody hell there's a lot of fair dinkum' ruthless bludgers going off 'round 'ere ay mate!![]()

I do like most of G-Man's iso commentary today.
He can move from scumlean to townlean. Epi has moved down to scumlean unless he was officially already there, in which case he's just buzzing around scumlean.

Her questioning and reads look pretty typical.
Jack's first post about DF was the "friendly invitation to play." After that, Jack responded to something by saying like "why would I push for a DF mislynch like that if I were scum." My gripe was that he clearly hadn't been pushing on DF in a suspiciony way, and he stated as such, yet he had defensively implied it.
Yes, I do think Jack could still be bad given tony flipped town. It's not a very strong associative read in that direction though.

I think Epignosis Long Con and G-Man, who all agree that I am suspicious for pinging DF when I know he isn't going to respond to it should reevalutate their reads of me because he did.
DF has more posts in this game now before the start of D2 than in the entirety of each of his last three games. In one of those games, he made it to day 6.
G-Man in particular still thinks I'm suspicious because he agrees with this idea that is obviously false.

DF is higher than Sloonei for me. Nutella is unaligned with DF probably. I’d never ever defend DF if we were wolves together as he rarely endgames. Nutella essentially does meaning they aren’t wolves together.Michelle wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2019 5:27 amSloonei lower than DF in these reads comes as odd for me, Tony never said nothing about DF as town iirc while he had a post comparing me and Sloonei.TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 11:17 pm There is so little to pry on here.

Um...I’m okay at reading Sabie. She’s usually town when I play with her.
Wait , when you don't play with her she is not town?
I see you give her a TR for a coincidence not for something game related.
Maybe you said more after, i'm going to read.
A general problem I have with reading some players (Dom and Sabie) is that I’ve not seen as much of their wolf game so I have to ask myself if I’m recognizing their town game or just their game.
Contrast you or Nutella where I at least have a variety or town and scum experiences to draw on.

I will say that my main takeaway from today has been that Jack was in no way angling for a DFaraday lynch with his initial prod. I don’f know if I suspect anyone in particular for following up on it, but it’s the type of thing that could be seized upon by opportunistic bad guys at this stage.

I have a read on you (Town) and you have 9 posts as of D1.DFaraday wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2019 1:26 amBut you're unlynchable, so it won't matter anyway.
I meant to respond earlier to your post asking us for reasons for voting you. I felt I was pretty clear in my earlier post, but to reiterate I think it's entirely conceivable that scum could try to instigate a low-risk lynch on someone like me in order to get a numbers advantage early, since in a game like this if I hang around until Day 4 or 5 like usual I could be a difference maker. I don't know for sure that's what you were doing, but you seemed to dismiss the possibility without any consideration, which was more of a bad look imo.
I don't find Nutella suspicious, so I don't plan on voting her. If you have a good case for someone else I'd be willing to listen.

Jack specifically commented on everyone in response to g man's post except me. He would have actually had to delete my name from the original post because now it's not there. Jack has played multiple games with me so why leave me out? Accidentally forgot me? Maybe... So far whenever I've played a game with jack and he's been mafia he makes it a point not to accuse me and ends up lulling me into a false sense of security just to come out and win in the end. Last time I realized just one lynch too late that it had happened again. He said hi to me in the beginning of the game so he knows I'm here. Also, I'm not sure how to take the whole making a big deal about DFs playstyle in the beginning.
I know nutella can be waffley a lot of times but some of what she's said kind of pinged me such as saying she didn't even know that Jack already votes and thinking tony would have tmi this early in the game. Some of her posts are just contradicting statements.

JACKOFHEARTS2005:
-Did this post need the NAI remark? I think it works better without it. On the surface, something declared as 'Not Alignment Indicative' sounds neutral, but to me it reads as 'No Reason To Read Baddie Intent Here.' Does anyone have thoughts on this? I don't know if NAI declarations are thrown out like candy at a Halloween parade these days or if it's just jargon from other cultures that I'm not used to.
You can read “neutral” as “good” if you want but that’s not what I’m saying. NAI is literally the answer. “Do you think this is good or bad?” “I think it is neutral.”
It’s weird that you categorize it as “unnecessary” when it is strictly necessary, being the answer to the question and all.
-Jack sets an expectations bar for Michelle after she defers on doing so herself. Once again, WIM is an acronym that's jargony to me. What he's saying here is that Michelle will try if she's civvie and won't try if she's baddie. That makes the term and concept pointless to me because mafia careers don't last very long if someone is that easy to read. All I was looking for was average post volume and temperament. What I got was an opinion on play style.
Is that a problem?
-In this post, Jack says that he's least confident about being able to read the players who hadn't posted yet in the game. Jackofhearts2005- what makes you more confident about your ability to read each of Dom, Epignosis, G-Man, Michelle, nutella, Quin, Sloonei, and TonyStarkPrime. Follow-up question: What makes you less confident about being able to read DFaraday, Lady LambdaDelta, Long Con
Dom - Only ever seen his town game but I’ve correctly read him as town several times.
Epi - I’m not super good at reading him. I think I can read him okay in relation to how he treated flipped teammates.
G-Man - You hadn’t really posted much yet.
Michelle - I have made it to late game with Michelle a lot. I’m not great at reading her. I might be better at it now with a lot of history to draw on.
Nutella - I’ve correctly read her like 10 games running, counting games I spectated.
Quin - I have picked out town and scum Quin correctly a time or two.
Sloonei - I’ve picked out Town Sloonei several times in the past. Said that already iirc.
Tony - I cant actually read Tony very well. I believe I’ve said as much here.
LLD - I’ve only seen one complete game from her.
DF - He barely posts. Not much to read. I do have a townread on him now if Nutella is a wolf because I don’t think she goes after me if DF is her teammate, especially if he’s voting for me.
LC - I can read him okay.
-This post and this post seem to contradict the one I just commented on. Why?
Because that’s literally correcting the previous post.
-Later on in Day 1, you get a bit snippy in demanding reads and justifications that lack idk, maybe, and kinda, but this post of yours (and the second one in the last comment) is pretty useless by that same criteria. Why the double standard?
I want real answers because at the time, I had an unexplained “You are mafia” from Epi, unexplained “This post is suspicious” from Dom, LC and Nutella and when I questioned Nutella, I wasn’t satisfied with the answers.
I wanted (still want in Epi and Nutella’s cases) reasoning for the votes so that I can evaluate them as town or scum.
For the record, I cross posted with Dom explaining his reasoning.
There is no double standard. I am not biased against the word “kinda” as in “I’m kinda good at a thing.” I’m biased against wolves hiding being “kinda” as in “I kinda think this is scummy but don’t get onto mefor it cause I only kinda think that.”
Really weird that you see that as a double standard. Looks like two barely related things to me. I’d go so far as to say that’s a misleading thing to say.
-The sin you commit in this post is providing an unsolicited expectations bar to all players about DFaraday. I don't recall much even being mentioned by that point about the low-or-no-activity dilemma that crops up in games. You could have requested everyone post, and you could have even mentioned DFaraday, but you took it further than that. You castigated him for prior game history. True, it may be a pattern, and I'm sure everyone who is familiar with that pattern had it in the back of their minds. You broke out the Bat Signal and shined it over the rooftops. It was overkill and I see no logical reason for you to go to such lengths.
Speaking of overkill....
Why would I ask everyone to play? I don’t need to ask Nutella to play. She’s going to play. I don’t need to ask Sloonei to play. He’s going to play.
Epi says I’m suspicious for asking DF to play when I know he’s not going to based on previous history. You think me pointing out previous history is “over the top” and “aging the bat signal.” Yet you also think I should have mentioned everyone instead of just DF?
“Weird.”
Make no mistake, DF should play or replace out. Not play or get lynched.
Also, “sinning.” Woof.
-And you follow up your DF stumble with a heaping dose of Wallace Shawn. You have no right to be upset with people challenging you on these two posts, unless...
-The defensiveness that follows isn't pleasant. You try to redefine what you said to and about DF here.
-You're better than this. You're either having a bad day or you stepped in it early and are trying to seem too irrational to be guilty.
Ooph again. I’m not irrational. I laid out how Nutella’s points on me are bullshit.
-I want to come back to this post after I do an ISO of nutella.
-Curious what you meant by this.
I’ve been playing mafia for about 10 years and been lynched as a townie outside of lylo maybe five times. I’ve had four games this year where I’ve caught six wolves trying to lynch me on D1 or D2. Yet my record in lylo as a townie is pretty poor. Maybe 25% win rate.
Essentially I’m saying “I’m aware I’m not perfect but I’m also good enough to back up my talk. I’m not being lynched today.”
-Here you try to explain that you were misinterpreted while also acknowledging that you were being a bit of a jerk. Why did it take so long and require so much flailing in the interim to reach this moment of clarity? Does anyone else believe this post?
-Another post to come back to after ISO'ing nutella.
-Oh brother.
-You say there are separate thoughts going on here. Separate thoughts belong in separate sentences, or those separate thoughts should be structured as two independent clauses separated by a comma before the conjunction 'and.' The only way to interpret that sentence the way you want us to is to break the rules of grammar.
Or if you just use basic fucking logic. The pink bit is bad. Why would that be a description of Nutella’s town game. It’s also the case I’m pushing on Nutella, which you know because you’re in the middle of isoing me.
Getting sick of people playing dumb as a reason to twist my words.
-Wrong. You can't scare Epi into doing anything, and you shouldn't be trying to preface anyone's alignment like this. When was the last time Day 1 told you anything significant?
I’ve lynched plenty of wolves D1 and plenty of wolves in later days based on things they said D1. What a silly question.

Re: An Australian Country Murder Mystery (Day 1)
But for the record, two townies did get caught in the crossfire. They played poorly tho. 75% is pretty damn good.
