I don't know how that would be a slip. They're two completely different things.DharmaHelper wrote: ↑Mon Oct 29, 2018 11:00 am Did Owner slip when she conflated Dark Arts and Deathly Hallows mechanics?
... unless you meant townslip.
Return to “Hogwarts Mafia - END”

I'm more of a Go-Soccer player myself.Owner of a Lonely Heart wrote: ↑Mon Oct 29, 2018 10:23 amI would say I play like chess but think like go.Turnip Head wrote: ↑Mon Oct 29, 2018 9:29 am I've had btsc with epi and juliets before, that was definitely a conversation that would have been had in btsc instead of the thread. That's why epi pointed it out.
@Owner of a Lonely Heart if you suspect DH I suggest giving him a lil rope to hang himself with instead of attacking his every move. Mafia is more like chess and less like tag imo
Oh, and I went to bed like immediately.Owner of a Lonely Heart wrote: ↑Mon Oct 29, 2018 12:25 am Me: *Talks to speedy*
Speedy: *is frozen or typing a freakishly long post*...or idk
Me: What? He wanted me to talk to him. Is that a bad thing? Hmmm
I know about the Deathly Hallows. I haven't explained anything about the Dark Arts to anyone.Owner of a Lonely Heart wrote: ↑Mon Oct 29, 2018 12:12 amYou knowing the intricacies of the Dark Arts stuff and sharing it could be an act to try to buy townie points. I remember reading the stuff about it but not nearly picking up enough about it to understand it all. Basically, if someone had or possessed Dark Arts abilities this game, they would probably read up on it or make sure they understood their abilities.speedchuck wrote: ↑Mon Oct 29, 2018 12:04 am what about me, owner? Give DH a break and flag me for a bit.
Technically, what you said is some form of mechanical-talk or a retelling of information, in which some of it is free to us. But it doesn't necessarily solve us the game or anything.
It's potenitally the kind of post meant to look like a person is being useful, but in reality, they aren't truly really adding to the thread.
So here's the deal, bro. Some students have these "deathly hallows" whatchamacallits. (holy heck my spell check recognizes that word) And the only way for someone else to get them is to kill the player that has it.
I'd rather tank the house points and be the last person to dogpile on any given lynch. For reasons.DharmaHelper wrote: ↑Sun Oct 28, 2018 9:19 pmOh good someone already fucked up. Thanks Luna :PLunalee wrote: ↑Sun Oct 28, 2018 9:15 pmThe funny thing with this game is we might get some magnificent ties. Because if you're on a townie lynch that goes through, your house looses 2 points. So especially on day 1 if I don't have a good scum read, I would rather be a single vote on someone who's not going to die.DharmaHelper wrote: ↑Sun Oct 28, 2018 9:01 pm Yeah I've gotta be real with yall unless somebody outright fucks up and slips or somebody builds a damn good case, I'll probably default to a no-show as well.
I like it. A lot of the fun of this game, and a lot of the crazy info and such, will come after night one. I for one would feel awful, on an out of game meta level, for not letting anyone have a go at a spell.Epignosis wrote: ↑Sun Oct 28, 2018 9:06 pmThis right here.Turnip Head wrote: ↑Sun Oct 28, 2018 8:59 pm Lynching anybody Day 1 always feels bad and everyone seems so happy to be here. Soneji almost never shows up to play so I'ma vote there for now.
Afraid to start any fires.
Boo. Bad.
I think that's perfectly normal. Why should he acknowledge a Hufflepuff of all people?Glorfindel wrote: ↑Sun Oct 28, 2018 6:22 pmIgnores my greeting and seems intent on engaging in finger-pointing early in the game... -1 for karavalenge.karavalenge wrote: ↑Sun Oct 28, 2018 5:33 pm I think Gryffindor is suspect since the murder occured in front of their common room.
Those comics are the best thing to come out of Harry Potter.
8 was pretty bad. If by 7 you mean DH part 1, then okay.Dragon D. Luffy wrote: ↑Sat Oct 27, 2018 7:58 pm Movie 4 is probably the worst in a more global sense.
But 3 casually forgets to explain the main plot and 6 casually skips the main battle of the book.
Ugh these films.
Best ones are 5 and 7. They are the only ones I'd call really good adaptions.
