Thanks! That's a scumtell for me, btw. Or, at least, I feel like it is.
I play town better as scum.

I'm sure there are other pushes I forgot this game too. :P I don't keep notes.
To be fair, I'd been wanting you dead for a while. :P Figured you were too smart to be fooled by my civvy act for long.Golden wrote: ↑Sun Jul 30, 2017 10:10 pm I don't think your kill choices helped either, although that's less within your control. I baited a kill by throwing your name out there once I suspected it was you, believing that nutella was John and DF was Pamela by that point, and that it kept at least one of the power roles alive another day (I wasn't sure if LoRab was the other one).
One thing that also gets lost in games like this is the utility you can get from the right civilian lynch (although you can never plan it intentionally). Jack's lynch ended up working in the towns favour, we couldn't have narrowed so many things down without knowing timmer was the glow cloud.
Thanks!
So I think if Tan Man hadn't killed TSP and blown the bluff, he and I might have pulled out a win. That second detector check really helped there. Could have ridden out that to victory.sprityo wrote: ↑Sun Jul 30, 2017 8:16 pm second one

3rd one

Thanks, and ditto. To both statements. Good game, and good game to Nju.
No. I was concerned that Dom had tracked Sprit, thus rendering my suspicion of him moot.Golden wrote: ↑Sun Jul 30, 2017 5:22 pm My meaningless vote goes on Speedchuck.
Speedchuck was legitimately concerned that a tracker could have seen him targeting Wilgy, in my book. He's trying to explain it away, and the only legitimate explanation is that he's the sheriff targeting Wilgy for protection... which holds a little merit, but not a lot (would anyone really target Wilgy for the kill? Maybe, but he seems one of the least invested at this point, so I'm sceptical.)
Dude. You don't have to be a dick.Dom wrote: ↑Sun Jul 30, 2017 10:01 ambullsuit.
I'm one of the least likely to be politician, but you put me yellow on your rainbow?
You're talking every way out of your ass.
If you're talking to me, I don't know what you mean. But I guess I'm done, so . Perhaps someone could look at my lynch advice tomorrow when their heads are a modicum further out of their rectums. Thanks.
Aye, this. I haven't even been considering Dom for the status of politician.Dom wrote: ↑Sun Jul 30, 2017 6:59 amWhy'd I make timmer the center of discussion, if I'm a politician?Golden wrote: ↑Sun Jul 30, 2017 3:48 am In the heart of hearts, here is my ranking, from most likely to least likely to be politician:
Speedchuck
Dom
Ricochet
INH
Sprityo
All five of these people could be. I'm leaving out Wilgy, Quin and Boomslang who I simply don't believe can be at all. I'll also note that I have each of Dom, Rico and Sprit penciled in to specific roles, but not speedchuck or INH.
Why would I undermine the strategy of my teammate?
Without using POE?
Nope. I'm back to sprit.
Oh. Well your declaration made me think you were the tracker.
I can answer that if you like.
You had legitimate reason to think TSP was politician, and Jack had reason to think he's Marcus. If a person has a chance of being on both teams, there's a better chance he's on one.Golden wrote: ↑Sat Jul 29, 2017 4:14 pmSpeed reads supatown to me. I can't help it! But there's little in there for me to rule him out of being politician.speedchuck wrote: ↑Sat Jul 22, 2017 8:52 pm Ugh I do not feel like figuring all of this out right now.
Between TSP and INH... I've been more consistently bad-feely about INH, but the TSP case has merit. Not lynching Dom today. Wilgy is a possibility that I need to ISO, perhaps tomorrow.
Wait, are Jack and Golden voting for TSP for completely different reasons? Golden thinks he's a politician, Jack thinks he's Marcus. And there's a legit argument for both.
Sure, Vote TSP.
He did theorise Tony could be Strex. He also correctly guessed timmer could be on politicians. Would he have done either of those if pol with them?
But the above vote post for TSP is perhaps... odd. Speed, why is Tony more palatable for a vote simply because Jack's reasons and my reasons were different? (My reason for voting him - he was too concerned about proving he wasn't Marcus rather than proving he wasn't bad - seem to be correct. Should trust my instincts more.)

Sprit looks worse now. Voted for Eloh. Complained about the TSP lynch. Possible he knew what the plan was for the Tan Man claim.speedchuck wrote: ↑Tue Jul 25, 2017 10:42 am Sprit was not that useful D1.
Possible w/w with Boomslang on D1 interactions.
D2 Sprit stayed outside of the Dom/Golden spat and said he saw the lynch as a choice between them. Possibly a way to narrow the lynch to two non-teammates. Does suggest moving away from it in the same post, though.
Did vote LC, and decently early. Almost impossible that Sprit is a Strex
Is pro-INH on day 3. Seems to legitimately be a conclusion he came to. Doubt he would go pretend to ISOread INH as a teammate unless prompted.
Anti-epi around the same time
Soft defense of TSP. Votes for Eloh. Expresses distaste for the TSP lynch, blames it on a gut feeling.
While I don't know Sprit's stance on post gimmicks and cursing people to use them, I do know him. The emotional outburst at Jack on D1, and the vote for Rico... I suspect those are 100% genuine.
I've seen more than one Spritsplosion in my time.
Upon ISO, I cannot condone a vote on Sprit. He's not strex, and if Eloh is the dragon, he's probably not politicians. I doubt w/w with INH.
If he's doing weird thing with the Eloh vote, I guess Boomslang could be politician with him, but I find it very unlikely.
Moderate townread.
I mean, I'm fine with catching the politician today, but from what I can tell, it looks like the Tan Man inherited the Strex kill. So even if we don't have the politicians all eliminated by tomorrow, we should probably do something about it
Read my later reply to... TSP? Sprit? Someone already followed up.Boomslang wrote: ↑Wed Jul 26, 2017 5:48 pmIt makes sense if, like me, you assume Rico was civ. Then, as TSP said, you would've the tiebreaking vote in a civ lynch. And if, as baddie, you had a strong sense that both were civ, you wouldn't want to implicate yourself with either lynch.speedchuck wrote: ↑Wed Jul 26, 2017 11:22 amIf Jack was scum, this might make sense.
He wasn't. It doesn't.
