I have no issue with running the same team again. It isn't really more or less likely to be successful than another team, given the likelihood of floaters. Low risk, high reward.
Dunno if the upcoming choosers will agree, though.

So, if a Not Guilty verdict comes up, is the common practice to create juries that contain none of the original four?

You NOT approving a team with you on it is very different than me APPROVING a team I'm not on.
Mostly because I will approve every team until we get past the first mission.
Having an early team get through without having a great many nominations restricts information. If I were like, the 5th or 6th or 7th Team Leader I would approve my team no questions asked but I'm 3rd so there aren't many nominations before me. I want to see who everyone nominates or failing that as many nominees as possible. That's information. Blindly approving teams runs the risk of the criminal team putting up a big ol' stinker.

The meta where I come from basically has it where the scum always let the first mission pass, because later missions are much harder if you can't trust any information from mission one. And with a limited number of team selections, and with simultaneous votes, it's much easier just to get on with it.
But there is no meta here.

Ew. Virtue signalling, anti-town play. Any team with you on it (if you are town) it statistically more likely to win than a team without you on it. This is not ideal play. It just is supposed to look good.

We can wait to vote too. This allows us to look at the flow of votes in the thread, see who is deciding to vote, when, and why. There are advantages.DharmaHelper wrote: ↑Tue May 01, 2018 10:58 am In normal Resistance IIRC approval/disapproval votes are instant and until revealed, secret, so doing it in the style of a lynch vote is another disadvantage for us, since Criminals I guess could either wait to vote, not vote at all, or vote based on whichever way the wind blows.

For round 1, we only need to get 4/7 of the town figured out. Or... scum might throw in a guilty verdict and let us pass to give us less info for later rounds. That's what I always do IRL.
