That was partly broken clock play because half my reasoning was the way he talked to me and he thought he was talking to Tony.

So me looking at an arbitrary (yet ultimately correct) poe and picking DDL out on post style was pretty good but Tony did just as good looking at the whole player list and narrowing it down to a poe of DDL plus a few on post style is equally impressive.

But then I went to Sloonei cause Sloonei scares me. Which is probably questionable.

Probably would have bothered more if there were items or maybe evidence to find. Like, since this is danganronpa, spread evidence in some rooms that players can find which give them info for whoever finds it first. Similar to the World Apart games.

I liked a lot of this setup and there was some good work by town.
I think the major setup problem (and I guess this is thematic) is that the town has nothing to fight for. It seems rather disheartening. I think even giving the limit on Bear recruits clears that up. At least for me. But I also don’t think the town win con is well defined? Which is kinda iffy.

I didn’t buy the DDL stuff but I figured I would win if I killed Sabie or at least more exciting stuff would happen so it’s still my best out.

So if this game is pretty well based off of the show I thought it was possible that if we can kill off the bear maybe those who were recruited can be cured and we can win the game.
What can you tell us about your ability? How much can you tell us? I’d be careful, since sprityo said not to reveal our secrets, I think.
I don't think there is anything else I can really share. I just think killing the bear is probably the better option. I mean if DDL wrote the post then there is no guarantee that he is telling the truth about anything.

So tell me he’s not. Don’t tell me he might not be.

The only way to get the true ending in the game is to kill Makoto. This game is pretty flavorful, so I think the Sabie Lynch is the best thing to do.

Hmmmmmm, I think the paranoia and the "your towns can be turned at any time" mentality goes out the window, but that still doesn't mean town will work harder together and have cohesion. If I had the guarantee that we lynch the wolf as soon as the other day starts, I'd be tempted.

I got a PM of like 7 words and was like “it’s one of four people”. It’s completely reasonable. The only way it’s advantageous to scum to lynch DDL is if the game is completely broken.
If Jack were the first night recruit, DDL would have PMed him with his identity to calm him down.

Why can’t the one shot roleblocker be recruited?

I didn’t think about that. I don’t think that’s a good choice, since it essentially blanks the night which is purely a town power.

I just had this thought. In the absence of any compelling case, we have the option of just lynching DDL any time we want.

Other than that I’m not really seeing a clear benefit to this lynch. It’s a non-negative since we didn’t lynch a civilian, but he now gets to continue on as normal. We can’t really even speculate about who was recruited, since he’s recruiting roles and all roles have secrets.

Is there any evidence that he would die if he were lynched again?

I think this is ideal. If a tie needs to be decided, choose Sloonei. If there is no tie, likely life goes in our favor.
