Then it was a stupid joke in a game like this, with no indication that it was a joke. Especially since you've been coming after me. What in your post would ever indicate to me you are joking? Not a damn thing and you know it. it wasn't a joke, it was a fake red peek to get a rise out of me. And you did. you know why? Because I am civ! And hell yes I get mad when someone openly lies about me and a red peek.

No, it was not a joke post. It was a fake claim in a game with no flips. I don't protest too much, I protest exactly as much as I should and if you are civ it was an incredibly shortsighted move. Because until you admit it was lie, I have to be lynched. In a game with no flips that kind of BS statement is a mistake.

Re: Retrocausality Mafia - Day 2: Sig puts his John Hancock down

Mac's lying. The question is whether he is lying as a baddie or lying as a civ. People like MP and SVS have lied as civs about red peeks before to get someone lynched they strongly believed were bad. SVS did it successfully, MP did is unsucessfully. I am unsure which I believe about Mac here. Because it boils down to the fact he is lying.

Re: Retrocausality Mafia - Day 2: Sig puts his John Hancock down

No Lunalee no gun to my head. Although that was a funny response, I laughed. I feel pretty sure that this is a good case against you and I'm behind it. I just don't like leaving a claimed 3P alone to do his thing assuming his claim is true.

Especially when that someone is TH. Who played Storyville or whatever that mafia game was that Shinny ran on LP all those years ago. Where he was a SK, the Big Bad Wolf. And self targeted with his kill in order to try and mechanically clear himself. He pretty much became an FEB legend after that, despite it not working. But we've forgotten that side of TH here because he's started playing laid back and jokey. Looking as nonthreatening as possible. No matter what affiliation. I don't like his claim and I don't understand this willingness to just let him do his thing. But I do trust Golden. And clearly most people don't see it like me, Colin and sprityo. So I'll give in and vote for the other person I believe is bad. Because hey, I could be wrong to be suspicious of him.

Golden wrote: Wed Jun 20, 2018 5:52 pm I will campaign to not see TH lynched today if need be. But I didn't really realise there was any threat of that, because I can't imagine any good reason to lynch him. All the facts suggest he is not mafia, to me. I have no interest in lynching an indy when the player numbers are so small and the indy is claiming he'll vanish anyway. This one I definitely would see as a waste of a lynch.

Why would you not let it play out and see if he is being honest? Like - if we lynch TH and prevent him winning by one day and go on to lose because we've wasted a lynch on this, I will riot.

There is absolutely nothing about TH's behaviour in the entire game that suggests any kind of agenda.
Because there is never any suggestion of his agenda in his play, like ever. And you assume that hey we can just wait and see whether or not he disappears. but what if he is lying about what happens? Consider what the options might be if he achieves his objective? We may have a more powerful or more difficult to kill baddie. I am always wary of giving people want they want from us without knowing for sure they are civ. See my arguments in U-Pick again lynching or killing people asking for it.

In this we disagree Golden. I do not trust TH. I have exactly zero reasons to think he might be a lying scum. I have more reason in fact to distrust this claim imo. I don't like luna either but I would rather lynch her tomorrow because she hasn't made a claim about how long she needs to live or what she is trying to achieve. Also of note, someone pounced on sig knowing about being elected before N1 started and an election took place. Was this another common knowledge thing that I missed? Re: Retrocausality Mafia - Day 2: Sig puts his John Hancock down

I think there is a good reason why Epi is not a good vote though Golden. I believe there is a good thread based reason to think Epi is civ. Emphasis on believe, I don't know anything for certain, but it looked pretty straightforward to me.

That was a catch up post where I put all my thoughts as I went. Have I voted for you? No. In fact I said that what I think sig's alignment is would affect the way I felt about you. You are getting defensive of me off an old read.

However, I do think people should be more wary of claims they can't prove.

Quin, if I wanted to vote you, i would. My point is that there is no way for me to be sure of anything. We don't even know for sure sig WAS bad. The reason I'm not voting you is because I lean toward the idea that sig probably was.
