Yes, why would you think it wasn't? I looked it up and that helmet magnifies powers. SinceMMs power was the power of self protection, I thought it was worth asking.
Because quite frankly that struck me as the weirdest question I have ever heard anyone ask in a mafia game. When have you ever know something to be able to be used retroactively in order to change the results, aside from maybe something that was used for the express purpose of resetting a period? just really weird to me.

There are a good number of baddie roles that target people, if I was up against someone in a Tyler showdown then it would make me pretty darn suspicious of the other person. The fact he isn't seems to me that he is trying to look civ.

I have some other suspicions that have come from today too, but it is premature to discuss them really so I will leave it for now. This was hardly the first time I started questioning you. I thought you sounded off back on N3 when you asked that weird question. It seemed like such a far fetched weird question that I thought it was possibly you trying to look civ. And I questioned you on that right then. Just because I didn't outright come after you doesn't mean my suspicions just now appeared.

Re: The Syndicate 2014 Game of Champions [Day 5]

I am not bad. I realize you and your team are going after me because I said I suspected both of them and you thought I KNEW because I was on the other team. But I didn't KNOW. I just highly suspected. And I gave my reasons why for both candidates. I became more vocal when I did because that lynch provided more insight than any cycle so far. I have done nothing this game but play for the civs because that is alignment. That said, I'm done for the time being too because this is too emotionally charged for my taste.

I am only going to Post one more time here. I am not bass' teammate, I don't have BTSC and I am not an Indy. I have done nothing but act in the interest of my alignment, the civs. I always said I was ok with voting either of the two in the last lynch, unfortunately I only had one vote. I Am perfectly ok with Face of Boe checking me because I don't have one thing to hide. I came in because my fiancé told me the post was up, if I was coming in based on my name being mentioned I would have come in sooner since certain people were already trying to set up a lynch Daisy train in order to protect Dom. Since he clearly said this, and we know who the warden was (bass) then we know who Dom is. There is no reason for me to wait. The evidence is conclusive. The only chance he might not be bad is if he were Rogue, but give the fact this team tried to NK him last night that tells me they really didn't want him talking tonight.

Lily, and all of you others who were gearing up for it, you can try to discredit me all you want, the evidence speaks for itself. Anyone who does not vote Dom this period should be getting some serious eyeballs on them.

Re: The Syndicate 2014 Game of Champions [Day 4]

I don't expect him to, or anyone to. I don't and wouldn't myself. And I apologize that you think that is what's saying or that I'm being harsh. The way I read his answer was that he had read bass and that was why he brought it up now but not before. But to me that implies he read his past games since the topic of discussion was already that he was disengaged. If people were tossing that around as a reasoning to vote someone that I had in the past experienced to play that way when they were a civ without BTSC, my response on the spot would be yeah but he usually plays this way when he has no BTSC. Him saying what made him bring it up now was reading back on Bass would imply to me he had read bass past games.

Dom, I'm not manipulating you. I'm pointing out inconsistencies in what I am seeing.

On that note I have a movie to finish watching before I go take a drug test for the job I was offered (yay!)

Clearly you missed what my question was. Your argument was based in the idea that a baddie bass (having BTSC) would be more engaged. When asked why you didn't bring this up when he was first called out for being disengaged you said it was because you went back and read him during that time, but in order for that answer to make any sense would mean you had read his past games in order to understand how a bad bass would have responded.

DH, obviously it is not a problem for me since I just answered the question. Let me speak clearly to be sure you understood. I don't think it is true, which is why I did not present it then or now. TH has already give examples where it wasn't. I want to know why the people who are saying they believe this now did not say it back then. I think it is a fair question, and a revealing one as well.

Linki: I thought I already had, apologies. I'm not antagonizing Dom, I'm just playing the game and on a personal note I have nothing but respect for you as a player.and you're an awesome guy I just happen to really suspect at the moment.

I am on page 16 of my read through, I obviously will not get it finished in time. I want to address the DF suspicion. Honestly, DF always reads as a disengaged player to me, which everything TH pointed out reads exactly that way to me. Someone who is not taking the time to adequately understand the cases and is rushing into his decisions. I won't be voting DF, I don't see reason enough right now. My read through has just reinforced my feelings about DH. His stuff just really reads underhanded. My other suspect, though less so, is LC. His original vote for Rey pinged me more on the second read than the first time through, but his subsequent back and forth with DH made me feel less suspicious of him, so I'm kind of on the fence. I will be voting DH today.

I'm not sure if I feel it is sketchy. I am definitely surprised; I did not expect it at all. I don't necessarily understand the benefit of baddies voting for me unless they're trying to gain cred or something, but even then, there are multiple baddie teams. However, I do wonder if some of the votes are trying to avoid serious questioning, such as Boomslang, Russtifinko, etc. They don't really explain why I deserve their votes. So that does raise my eyebrow.

But I am pleased, since I promise I will put it to good use if I do win.
Those who did not give reason he admits to finding strange...

I don't ask you to take my reason as evidence, since you have no idea of my alignment either, I was only reiterating my reason because it felt like you were dismissing all his voters as not having given reasons. I know at least myself, SVS, and Juliets gave reasons. I can't remember if there were others off the top of my head, I would have to look back.

Dom, I think a fair amount of the MP voters gave a reason. I kind of think I can do a fair job reading MP, and I feel pretty sure he is a civ based upon what I've seen so far.

I don't understand why people are suspicious of Elo, I've seen nothing out of the ordinary in her play so far.

I think it is likely that we had civ v civ action on Day 2 and the baddies let us run with it. It's an easy out for two lynches if they did, because it would not be until made flipped before we realized it.

I am going to do some re-reading to see if anything jumps out at me.

Llama, I am not giving anyone a pass by suggesting secret role stuff, but it would be foolish of us not to at least consider the possibility. The only way a role like that would be successful was if it was secret, so it only seems to be prudent to consider all the possibilities. In the end we all vote with our gut interpretation of the evidence in front of us anyway. More often than not it could imply various alignments, we all have to go with what we believe to be true and then we find out if we were right or wrong. I don't think speculating about a possible secret role is dangerous at all.

I find myself looking at three options for this lynch. I still do not like the feel of DH after Day 1. Made seems to be making blatantly false statements, if there were any truth in what he was saying, I am sure he would be punished for what he has said. However, there are secret roles and I really can't see why anyone would lie about this, bad or otherwise, so it still leaves me wondering if there is a role that can force you to claim things or act certain ways. It would not be the first time. Then there is the case against llama...

I have made the case before for BTSC showing in similar verbiage but it usually is used closer together than that and more than just one phrase, frequently when discussing the same topic. I don't really think using what I would also consider a common phrase to be a BTSC slip up.

I don't see what the big deal about LC's vote is either. Rey does seem a bit defensive, nothing I would cast a vote for though, but I don't find it odd that LC did especially in a game where if something big happened he could change his vote. Additionally because LC has been known to do things that seem odd just to shake the tree and see what falls out. I don't think that is what he was doing here either, but given all this I don't find anything out of place with his vote or reason, especially on Day 1.

I do find DH to be slinging strange cases around though. It is not what I would expect from him and is why my Day 1 vote is going to be there. I don't know how I will feel on Day 2, but it is the best I have at this point on Day 1.

Are votes changeable in this game? I hate that...

Re: The Syndicate 2014 Game of Champions [Day 0]

I was going to vote for Fight Club since it was my only win, but as much as I enjoyed the game, I really don't feel like I had any great part in winning it for our team. Instead I am voting for The Hobbit. Although I didn't win, I took out MP early. :) at least I believe that was the one in which I called his baddie alignment and people voted for him because both David and I were basically saying he was bad. I think. My memory is fuzzy
