LOL, I just find it hard to believe I could be completely absent from the site for like four days and am still alive. But then, not being present in the game means I have no idea what happened and perhaps you found some truly suspicious characters.

Well guys, I moved. I'm still dealing with unpacking all the stuff and I have been so absent, I'm very sorry. I intend to try and catch myself up this evening. I checked before I posted to make sure I wasn't dead or replaced. I actually asked ot be replaced some time ago but there are no replacements to be had it seems. Sorry...

DDL, I read on and found another post by Scotty that put my concerns to rest.

Regarding MP, I have not read the thread and what I have read is spotty, outside of the very few ISOs I've done. MP tends to be a high poster and I have not read his yet. He's always polarizing. And I imagine he has been all over the place judging by how he has been irl. He's pretty stressed right now, and that is putting it mildly. So without knowing his in game content I would say I don't have a read either way yet. I can try reading his ISO once I get back from work, during the night phase.

Now for real I have to go, lol.

Well, I took time to read Boomslang before I leave and I get a civ vibe there. I would even venture so far to say I trust him atm.

Scotty, this post has me all kinds of uncomfortable. MM posted a list of three reads. He listed them in the normal way for a rainbow list. Top are most civ and bottom are most baddie, and they were normal colors. You were quite over the top in your response to it. The only thing that gives me pause is MM's flip. I realize that MM's list was bullsuit, but if you had come in saying, hey can you explain why you put SVS as your civ read or why you think MP is bad, that would be a response I could understand. But instead you act like you didn't know how to read a rainbow list. Which is just silliness, they have been around long for you to know how to read them.

On that note, I have to stop where I am. I've got to go to work shortly. I'll try to vote before I leave or from my phone at work, I don't know.

I'm somewhat puzzled by this post of yours, Sorsha. You made this statement five hours out from EoD 1. I had places to go and things to do.... I thought I'd be back to vote and intended on voting but I don't know who I would have voted for. I don't know if I'd have voted for prefects at all, I wanted to see whose feathers got ruffled, it does irk me a bit that INH promised to be an active player if he was prefect an he has now vanished.

I've been trying to get a bead on people in the game, so I've been jumping into a few randomly chosen ISO's because frankly there is no way I can catch up on the whole thread. Sorsha, did you ever explain why you would not have voted Scotty. That gives me the impression you trusted him more than the other two prefects. DO you trust him now?

If this was your logic, I would have expected to see you put a vote on timmer, who didn't even vote for himself. Why not?

This is expected you voted for those who self-voted because they were voting randomly. This point is moot if it's not where you were coming from.

Forgive me Quin, but I don't have the first clue what you mean. I think perhaps you have misunderstood what my reasoning for my votes were, which is my fault because I don't think I explained well.

My first thought was, I should just self vote because I am not an informed voter.

Then I realized, hey I have two votes! This makes it invalid for me to vote for myself and then one for someone else because I would basically be placing an uninformed vote anyway for my second vote.

Then I thought, well maybe should vote for myself and someone else who self voted, because clearly they are in the same place and me and we are probably the least engaged players so far, so it would make the most sense for me to put my vote there.

Then when I came in and saw that there were three people who self voted, I had to decide how to choose which one to cast my second vote for. As I was looking at their own second votes, it hit me that two of them (bwt and Bass) cast their second vote for someone else, not a self voter. But BUllzeye, he only cast one vote, for just himself. This was a true self vote. But these other two struck me as disingenuous because if you are already casting an uninformed vote for someone, why even bother with the self vote? It becomes a moot point. And moreover, it is a fairly safe vote. So I chose to vote for two self voters who also cast votes that I found to be slightly questionable.

When I looked at who self voted there were three, so then I looked at who they voted for other than themselves and I found that of the three Bullz only voted for himself. Therefore I voted for the two guys who self voted and yet still voted for someone else too.

Fair warning, I'm in the midst of hosting my own game, interviewing for a new job and applying for others, and packing up my apartment and moving for the next two week. So yeah, don't expect a ton here at first from me. I'll do my best but frankly I am quieter at the beginning and get more engaged as the numbers thin out. It's just kind of how I work, and given everything going on, it's not likely to be any different here.

As for prefect, well I'll just quote some Douglas Adams' Hitchiker's Guide...

"It is a well-known fact that those people who must want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it... anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job."

Therefore I am voting for timmer and nutella because they said they didn't want it.
