Re: Day 2 Monty Python and the Holy Grail

I hate when the accusation of WIFOM comes out. It is the most pointless accusation you could ever make. Because when someone says "I would (or would never) do X, Y, Z if I were bad," it could either be true or a lie and shouting "WIFOM!" Proves nothing. You can either believe someone or not, but WIFOM is ridiculous because if it is a civ defending themselves should they just not defend themself with the truth of the situation because it might be considered WIFOM? Just my two cents.

I don't even know who is being accused of WIFOM right now, lol...

If we are of the mind that he plays very like Mr. f let me just say that I'm his first game, as his Baddie teammate I watched him play balls to the wall. We warned him certain actions are suspish and he said, screw it I am doing it my way anyhow. So, to be honest this all over the place stuff does not sit well with me because it is easy to write it off as someone being new, but I have see first hand how someone can play people using that newb card. On the other hand. mr. f is one freaking paranoid player and could sure come up with some outlandish crap. But then he does that as a Baddie too. And i feel the same way about Made, because he gives me the exact same impression here as Mr. F. frequently does. I am honestly still feeling like Made is the most likely to get my vote this day period.

P.S. I miss Mr. F!

Re: Night 1 Monty Python and the Holy Grail

Ok, I would call that a good lynch result. I cannot imagine that role being a healthy one for civs to have around...

I chose orally because it cracked me up. XD

Re: Day 1 Monty Python and the Holy Grail

To those who are talking about the consecutive votes I say, sometimes it really is just coincidence. I don't know the roles or alignment of either Canuck or BWT. All I know is that the way MP first went after Made though not as much as he tried to imply later, then backed off, now seems to be fishing for something that will stick and finally settled on going hard after SVS just has me feeling all kinds of weird about him. Time will tell how well I can read my fiancé I guess, lol. I could be wrong, but I just don't think I am. Also, if we were a Baddie team, I would think we would have been smart enough to space our votes out better. All three of us are seasoned mafia players after all.

Re: Day 1 Monty Python and the Holy Grail

Ugh. Ok, I actually was reading some of this last night, but I was kind of peeved and I figured it would be better to bite my tongue, so I did not comment at that time. I just now finished reading all twenty something pages...

My thoughts are these...

Made: Llama's point about Made seemed to me to be not that he had information about the other chat so much as his subsequent comments seemed like a slap dash attempt to not look like a Baddie. I find this to be a good starting point for a suspicion. Then add the fact he seems to have compounded the situation with some lies or perhaps some confusion seems even more suspect. Possibly bad.

Llama: Is obviously baiting Made now, among any others willing to fall into his games. I find him aggressive, but not abnormally so for Llama. I do think though, that the fact the other chat DID have the script to undermine this case, if only slightly. I also think that it is not out of character for llama to have not mentioned he DID say something to Made in the chat, just not at the point in the conversation Made was implying. I don't think this was a Baddie attempt to take down Made. What possible Baddie motive could there be to stick your neck out like that. Especially when his plot would likely have to involved Juliets too, it doesn't seem worth two Baddie lives to take down one civ with an unknown role. I think he is Civ.

Juliets: see above, I don't think she is bad either. Though it is early yet and my opinion coud change.

Enrique: I think he is civ as well, I think he just got worked up over llama going after Made, who is a friend of his unless I am mistaken? Llama tends to have that effect on people, it's part of his undefinable charm... Or something. ;)

SVS: Honestly would have to read over her stuff again to give any opinion whatsoever. I didn't see anything that stood out. TBD, the next person has me leaning civ on her.

MP: I love you, but I think you are bad. Your posts have been too full of fishing for other opinions. You are too wishy washy. I feel like you are looking for a good case to stick too, and this SVS thing honestly reads like weird reasoning to me. Especially given how you have been pretty vocal in the past about how you know how bad you are at reading her and how you can get such tunnel vision about her. I just am not feeling your behavior this game at all. In fact, I am feeling so unsettled by it that I am willing to vote for you. No offense, but I just feel it in my gut you are bad.

*votes*

Linki @ Made: I do exist, I just have a very busy life and you all made it very difficult to catch up.

Linki @ BWT, guess I'm not the only one who is not feeling like Alex is trustworthy this go round!

Name four.
Well, the first three I thought of were:

1. When Yossarian declared he had to consult with his "teammates" in thread in his first game ever.

2. When Mongoose PMed me in Bioshock targeting someone who was not in the game. :p

3. When my team (In my first game ever) had a one-time recruit and we recruited the person who was gunning HARD after me (Dom) and it was a total disaster.

I'm sure I could think of more.

Enrique wrote:Does it have to be newbies? Ambray posting a PM in public and thus outing her entire team was pretty bad/great.
LOL, yes, as a member of that team, that was insane.
How about when Mr F was on my baddie team in Beatles on LP for his first game and came in the thread and announced he was gone for a day and came back to fourteen PMs. And still survived half the game!
