I tend to null read lean scum to strangers I never play with who play rather neutralish (more because of fear of the unknown). 2. I'm signing up as sub not full time player and I have full time job and freelance one
3. I don't go with gut reads

Many players here used past games or behavior (that they're familiar with since many of you have played with each other long enough to give easy town/scum read) as a base for their read or to poke them that I have no same access given I only played 2 before and no time to read those past games to compare them all with the one over here since again, I'm busy enough already to even follow this one. Since many do meta read, it's harder for me to read them correctly since their reasoning is meta.
6. I only go after those I have strong read not weak one. 3 I mentioned (Sloonei, Nutella, Colin) have glaring play on Hogwarts and here. I don't go after weak read D1 since I'm bottom up player (I need to see more before I have better/more solid read). I'm bad with gut read, again. It's the same with my read on Luna. I didn't say anything before I see anything consistent or make sense if I think about it.
7. I null read people I have 0 experience with (with slight lean scum when they're neutralish)

You're forcing the idea that GTH is strong read when null is not allowed. I didn't mention them before because they're not my strong read. I based my read on Nutella, Colin and Sloonei from the game I was in with them where they played differently. I'm not even regular here. Playing only 2 games before. You sound like I have to have strong read on those GTH which is bullshit.

I think Gunsmiths+Santas shouldn't give any gun tonight and for any town who receive a gun to not use them.

The risk of misfire, fake gun/sabotaged one (that will result on the user getting killed themselves) will kill town more than scum and will thin our number faster. Also with several guns being in the game, how are we going to know which one is done by town and one by scum? Any scum can fake it as "I sus this and this so I shoot them" to justify their kill. Also, lower chance for town to get miskilled by Granny if less of us doing a visit.

By choosing to not use the gun, any kills that will happen = 100% from scum. We can check if they have faction kill or not.

Will be much longer game for us but we won't be a retard by helping them thinning our own number by being a bunch of monkeys with guns.
Going with lynch can help with vote tracking+reasoning behind each lynch - better and safer way to catch scum and track them down.

Orb and Vest (especially vest) should be okay to give/used, at least they can't be used to kill. I'm still unsure about this and would like to hear more opinion about Orb/Vest

If they have FK then it's still safer to not give any guns/use them. Town visiting Granny will result in town's death. Same with fake gun/sabotaged one. Higher chance of them killing town than scum. I don't think going crazy with kill especially N1 is safe for town when our read is still blurry.

Maf has no cop, no way for her to know I'm for sure is town. Each maf has only 3 members, not worth the risk to whiteknight early especially on D1 when it's harder to get solid read. If 1 maf wrongly defend other maf team member, they would get in trouble once that person flips. Too risky to do such thing. Those who did near EoD could in a way get better read if looking from the amount of votes I got and the people on my wagon with their reasoning (or no serious reasoning). She already did since before that, it put her in better light with the amount of risk being higher.

Why would I want to let someone I town read to be at risk of being shot?

I can't pinpoint who doesn't look genuine tbh, easier to explain why I feel Luna being the most genuine. She town read me since quite early like before the votes were stacked so no way to see if I'm really town and alone and not maf from other team. Dunno why would if she's a maf, would want to risk white knighting me early when there's a possibility of me being maf from diff team (that will get her in trouble if I'm lynched). Tbf Sloonei also did the same early too and he explained the reason and it's different one from Luna (his reasoning).

Trying to paint this game in similar manner as the Mexican Standoff is not going to work. We have different roles here with no permanent vig/doc, a town with veteran ability and scums have QT and can organize better (with abilities to screw our items). Mexican Standoff have pure vig/doc combo (no gifting mechanism and no veteran) all town players and SKs with no QT.

EVERYONE should be giving guns and vests. EVERYONE should start shooting their suspects tomorrow. This isn't Disneyland.

If they have FK then it's still safer to not give any guns/use them. Town visiting Granny will result in town's death. Same with fake gun/sabotaged one. Higher chance of them killing town than scum. I don't think going crazy with kill especially N1 is safe for town when our read is still blurry.

It may not be fun for any gun crazy player but yea, I think it's safer that way.

Just reread the set up, several things that come to mind:
I think Gunsmiths+Santas shouldn't give any gun tonight and for any town who receive a gun to not use them.

The risk of misfire, fake gun/sabotaged one (that will result on the user getting killed themselves) will kill town more than scum and will thin our number faster. Also with several guns being in the game, how are we going to know which one is done by town and one by scum? Any scum can fake it as "I sus this and this so I shoot them" to justify their kill. Also, lower chance for town to get miskilled by Granny if less of us doing a visit.

By choosing to not use the gun, any kills that will happen = 100% from scum. We can check if they have faction kill or not.

Will be much longer game for us but we won't be a retard by helping them thinning our own number by being a bunch of monkeys with guns.
Going with lynch can help with vote tracking+reasoning behind each lynch - better and safer way to catch scum and track them down.

Orb and Vest (especially vest) should be okay to give/used, at least they can't be used to kill. I'm still unsure about this and would like to hear more opinion about Orb/Vest

I think maf would be more likely laying low. There might be -albeit less likely- some who's more active to get town cred/gun/vest but since there are fake stuffs and items can be sabotaged, the chance of them avoiding confrontation/not trying to get attention is higher imo - to avoid getting killed/targeted by the other team. They prolly lay low but try to appear town enough to avoid getting vigged as well. Maf don't have their own docs so to ensure their own survival to win the game they need to avoid any gun directed at them especially early game. They could be friendly and not pushing much (to get items and not get killed by gun or lynch). Any maf could scumhunt but if they do it too much, they will be at risk of being offed by the other team (dunno if there's faction kill or not but with several guns available in the game, it will be risky being too vocal since each maf has only 3 members).

Been in 2 where the host disappeared midgame. Lasted for months for 1 game then another one currently missing for 2-3 weeks and counting.

You're forcing the idea that GTH is strong read when null is not allowed. I didn't mention them before because they're not my strong read. I based my read on Nutella, Colin and Sloonei from the game I was in with them where they played differently. I'm not even regular here. Playing only 2 games before. You sound like I have to have strong read on those GTH which is bullshit.
