Re: Interrogation Room
Popping back in here that I just heard from a friend that Season 4 dropped recently and we never heard anything. And it's actually a full, 13 episode season rather than two half seasons like 2 and 3. So hell yes, hype. This is the perfect time to get into the show.

Re: Interrogation Room
Bah, there's barely anyone being ripped apart by the zombies though. :vjuliets wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2019 9:42 pm Wow @Pawn Lelouch very interesting. I had to look up parkour, I was not familiar with it. And She-Ra sounds like a cool show, especially for a kids show. I don't have Netflix unfortunately but when I get it I'll have to take a look. I had to veto the Walking Dead because I am squeamish about violence, blood, etc. and that whole was full of it. Thanks you for answering!

Re: Interrogation Room
For non mafia hobbies, reading and chess are the obvious ones but I would be remiss to not include parkour, theater, and bouldering.juliets wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2019 6:33 pmLol Pawn I worded the question poorly - I wanted to know what we haven't asked you (which you gave me) and for you to answer those questions - so:Pawn Lelouch wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2019 6:27 pmGeneral non mafia hobbies, pets, probably favorite comedian, favorite tv shows and that's about it off the top of my head.
What are your non-mafia hobbies?
What pets do you have or have you had, what are their names?
Who is your favorite comedian?
What are your favorite TV shows?
I currently have 1 dog and 3 cats. The dog is a pitbull named Sammy and she's a sweetheart. The cats are named Frick, Frack, and Freddy. Sadly all of them are back home while I'm stuck in
My favorite comedian is the one and only John Mulaney of course.
So this is gonna sound very weird put together but my two favorite TV shows are The Walking Dead and the new version of She-Ra. Walking Dead is just a love of the genre and growing up with a lot of the characters, even if I disagree heavily with some of the elements and paths the show took, especially under Scott Gimple's management.
The new She-Ra is a kids show and I will not deny that it shows that a fair bit. But when it decides to get serious and dark? It does it better than any show that I've ever seen and the proper second season finale (Season 2 was split into 2 halves because of Netflix so it's technically Season 3's finale) had me crying from start to finish which is something that very few shows can pull off. Couple that with the complex social dynamics and psychology involving the two main leads in Adora and Catra and I'm hooked. Legit though, I actually wrote a psych class paper on the two characters, the work they put into making character decisions make sense from their view is insane.

Re: Interrogation Room
I've read the Reckoners. And I've been interested in reading some of the other series, I just need to find the time to do so.

Re: Interrogation Room
I love the Lies of Locke Lamora series and the Mistborn Series.
I do listen to some podcasts with the main two being Welcome to Nightvale and The Magnus Archives. If it counts, Critical Role is one as well.
For games probably the cards games Mao and Stress, though I am always partial to Texas Hold Em and Blackjack.

Re: Interrogation Room
I haven't decided yet. I know that there are fields that I'm going to be avoiding like divorce (would hurt me emotionally), criminal (emotions + money), and IP (not enough of an engineering background). Beyond that I'm still searching through.juliets wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2019 1:08 pmI thought Yosemite was awesome, awesome, awesome. I've been twice and thoroughly enjoyed it both times. Pawn, I think you said you wanted to go to law school. What kind of an attorney do you want to be and why or have you decided? Where do you hope to go to law school?
And as it is right now I'm still not sure where I want to go for law school.

Enough of my friends and family have called me one over the years that I've just started leaning into it at this point.Evenstar wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2019 12:31 pmSo you're a cat person? And nah. I'm fine with softball questions or hard ones.

Re: I am the Elephant.
For the next 4.5 years, my main purpose in life is to finish up my undergraduate program, and then apply, make it into law school, and graduate from it.
Just try to set myself up for the rest of my life honestly.

Re: Interrogation Room
For my top movie it's close but I'd have to go for the Italian Job. There's always just been something fun and exciting about this movie to me.
Favorite band is Nickelback, no memes, completely legit for this. I use these qualifiers since no one believes me when I say this. To round out my top 3 I'd also include Set It Off and The Script
And it should be. Was supposed to have been delivered yesterday but they claimed to deliver it at a time when I was outside and know they weren't there. They claimed they didn't deliver because the driveway was blocked which is ???. Its blocked because it doesn't exist and I tood you to deliver it to the door or mailbox yesterday.
Still, argued with them for a few hours yesterday and gave very exacting instructions since I had to write a 2 page essay on my phone last night while I was doing this. So I am fairly certain I got my instructions across well this time and it should be fixed.

Assuming white? PE2 to PE4.JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2019 10:51 pm Chess is probably my favorite "board" game. I don't know why it feels awkward to call it a board game when it's clearly a board game. Uh. I appreciate though that it is truly nothing but strategy, and the element of chance does not exist in any objective capacity. Naturally though I enjoy it more when playing against non-regulars so I can feel like I know what I am doing.
Which pawn advances first and how far?

Re: Interrogation Room
Well the Pawn part is fairly obvious. I like chess a fair bit so using it in my username seemed a no brainer.
But Pawn alone isn't a good username so I needed to try and find something that worked with it. And well, I love Code Geass and it has a lot of Chess used for theming.
Granted the actual chess portrayed is bad but I appreciate the attempt and themes from the show, and find Lelouch to be a great character. So I figured it works and then the rest is history.
