It really feels like Vanity's reads and pushes have remained static throughout the past two days and that he's just looking for more reasons to pile on top of his list of reasons to scumread the people he's calling scum (particularly elephant and juliets, and to a lesser degree TLib).

When he does consider other people, such as me or nutella, he doesn't really give any reason to suspect us. It's more just shade. In nutella's case, he doesn't explain why he thought nutella would die over Benson. Wasn't vanity one of the people calling Benson top town in this group? As for me, it's like, he's saying I'm tough to crack, but if that's the case, I don't feel like he's done much to solidify a read on me.

Finally, his suspicion of Long Con feels more like him trying to "protect" nutella and I and him trying to sway us from possibly finding him as town. The only people alive today that were on Benson are me, nutella, vanity, and Long Con.

Right. I didn't take into consideration the different voting system there. However, even if they couldn't actively push anyone there, I assumed that they were at least able to say stuff about everyone? Including defending people? I still don't feel inclined to move my vote.

I was looking back at this personally if all actions have a cost I would assume they have a limitied number of uses I think we need to vote upon saving shots for the vig.

Well I think vanity's or elephant's flip could be interesting to them regardless, though they'd have to assess interactions from d1 based on memory

I've got an idea. How would you feel about lynching vanity or elephant, and then using the (maybe?) vig shot to kill Ty4on? That way, we get the info from people voting between vanity and elephant AND we get the other group's lynch killed to give them info.

Question to all:

Do you think Spiny/Boo flipping town helped the other group solve people within their group? Do you think one of Vanity's or Elephant's flips will help them? How about Ty4on, who they apparently voted out of the group? Should we be trying to help give them info via flipping the people they send here?

So, I'm a dumbass. I just realized that TLib's "townslip" was probably not actually a townslip, and that my logic behind it was bad.

I decided to take a skim over Vanity's ISO since it's been a while since I've done so.

It's interesting that he was being accused of trying too hard very early D1 and now he is saying he isn't trying to play too hard. It almost seems like a readjustment to seem less scummy?

Scum can get genuinely upset at a partners post or treatment of them in thread. It’s maybe the easiest way to distance imo.
Ok, I don't know if I've ever seen that - real anger instead of fake anger - but it would certainly be a good distancing technique.

Are you seeing both Elephant and vanity as scum right now (I know your vote is on Elephant) or have you not seen enough yet to have that opinion? I'm really struggling with them, I exited the last day phase with a town lean on both.

There's an example of this in G8 of MU Champs. One of mine and Nanook's partners, IBA, got upset with Nanook at one point on D3, and started arguing with him in the thread. It convinced a lot of the players that they weren't partners.

Him saying he's not really trying is NAI, I think. Do else haven't you liked about Vanity? Did you ever vote Vanity with Elephant yesterday? If not, why didn't you if you didn't like him?
I did not vote either wasn't confident i could form a great case on a wolf vanity and i didn't vote elephant cause i don't have a great read on them i have tryied to read them twice now and keep going null

With vanity though i am on another tab rereading his ISO don't mind his D0 so far but don't like d1 which makes me feel he is a wolf still gotta reread yesterday and the little d3 all together tough just this and another post then am back to that
