This is really weird given your previous stated read on Transcend.

Also I note the wagons in the poll proving you were lying about Transcend's chances of surviving D1.

I have argued before that it is best to give certain players a day pass because it is simply too disastrous for the game if they are town. You can keep them in your POE and hunt for your partners while giving them the chance to clear themselves by producing pelts (and of course, if they are wolves and produce pelts, you should encourage them to out all their teammates for you). I would say Mac is one of those players.

Maybe I'm being stupid but Alison typically is pretty aware of what she's doing

Because of that I don't think she would actually fake a dumb tell as a wolf very often, it's just not necessary

However due to, idk, circumstances, I think it's completely understandable why she did as town this game
I have faked dumb tells as wolf before. Not that often but sometimes when I feel I can throw it in for free.

I actually don't know what circumstances you are referring to. Unless you mean how I have had a string of low quality games and am slightly burned out from them and therefore am more likely not to pay attention to the number of wolves in the game.

Tell me more about this read.
I'm not going to call it a godread because it's slightly less confident than that but I he's generally a really easy player to find as town from meta. The only player in this game probably better at reading him than me is alexa.

But one thing in particular that I can actually explain here is illario's approach to scumreads, specifically his mild scumread on me. I'll explain in more detail later if necessary but he has this thing as town where he doesn't like outing scumreads unless he's pushing them really hard because he's paranoid about how people will react to them (which is why I had to respond to him earlier to tell him to out his read on me) which I don't think he is self aware enough of / capable / willing to replicate as a wolf.

Also weak reason but he probably just doesn't lightly scumread me at all if he's actually a wolf. He knows he has to kill me lol.

Why is Mac town?

His quote about him playing like a nutcase so he doesn’t get n1d. That in itself isn’t a thought that’s hard to fake but then he carries on that thought by mentioning something about u and esooa dieing n1/n2 which made me feel like it was a real thought that came about and not just something as simple as “hurrr watch me get nightkilled lols”

It’s a progression I’m pretty sure I’ve said a bunch as town but never once thought to fake as scum, since most people find that kinda stuff NAI anyways so I wouldn’t ever bother faking that.

His catchup felt like he was holding back and a little nervous, which I'd expect him to be if he rolled wolf in this playerlist. He also shrank away from taking firm stances; I think the strongest read he had was that Transcend seemed excited to play and that was townie. Which is a pretty meh read.
This is false. I've read up to page 3 of the thread and I've externalised exactly two reads: Transcend being town from his entrance (one reason for that is what I mentioned to illario because it was relevant to the conversion from his entrance) and alexa being town as well. Those are literally the only stances I've made so saying I've shrank away from making firms ones is incredibly disingenuous.

Saying I'm nervous is also just blatantly untrue and I'm interested in hearing how you could get that impression from my posts?
You're doing a lot of commenting on things without giving opinions on them and that concerns me. My read that you're nervous extends from that: it's like you're afraid to put yourself out there. Like, using the post I'm responding to as an example, you're using a lot of language that seems to point towards me being scum: "this is false", "incredibly disingenuous", "blatantly untrue". But you're not actually voting me or pushing on me. There's a hesitation there.

is this ur first game with him?

i had a slight ping with him over something minor but ill give him time to catch up first, if hes town hes good at obv-towning himself
His catchup felt like he was holding back and a little nervous, which I'd expect him to be if he rolled wolf in this playerlist. He also shrank away from taking firm stances; I think the strongest read he had was that Transcend seemed excited to play and that was townie. Which is a pretty meh read.

i know it's vague and i can quote certain posts if u want me to but like... he just feels confident in his role as town...
This is his MO as scum who is under pressure. He openwolfs, and is loud and makes a lot of poats, and people who can't or won't think critically clear him for no reason.

Because nobody here is going to do enough work to chop him outside of rand if I don't and I am lolcatting and openwolfing so I am not getting a n1 bullet so either you die n1 and esooa dies n2 (or vice versa) or you're both wolves and you are the only other person whomst would ergo wolf transcend has already won the game.

This makes sense in my head.
Me and Esooa are pushing Transcend right now and we both have a good % of getting our desired exe targets killed D1. I don't understand why you think people are too apathetic to chop him.

Townread LC for bad reasons. Looked like a pocket. No egoistical muscle-flexing. I mean you are now but it doesn't count if you only do it after I say it.
