I haven't seen it with my own eyes but he says Hally and nutella called him out early in a game he played.
He also took heat early in Space Invaders but dug himself out rapidly with posts very similar to the ones he is making right now.

Re: Buckets: War of the GOATs
Nobody is entirely a 1P player or entirely a not-1P player. Everyone listens to some reads from others and everyone makes some reads for themselves. I lean more towards the 1P side. Let's say 80%. Mostly because the consensus in mafia games is often bad. If I am in a game with many good players I become less 1P. At all times I strive to take the attitude that lets me maximize my winrate.

I don't agree with the reads you've made this game or the way you've made them. You seem to view me as obvious town but get annoyed when Esooa tries to clear me off something small and I think this might be because you are frustrated that a townie is making a correct read for the wrong reasons. My townreads all seem to suspect you.
I think Mac is your most likely partner because the way he treated you on his readslist was extremely jarring and alien.

For me to be chopped day 1 will require some town to be dumb fucks. Okay that's fine. If you are prepared to be a dumb fuck town and chop me day 1 good for you. You can live with that.
So my intention is to ignore every single dumb fuck, find the wolves with the least amount of energy expended. Say who they are. Leave the thread and let God sort the rest of you out.

illario - meet Alison. She is very firm on her takes. I have seen her very firmly tunnel 0/2 reads as village. She says things with confidence and assert stuff that feels like a huge ??? because she is very confident in herself. She isn't as staunchly tunneled in the way Sara is but her asserting reads with confidence is very normal despite how correct/incorrect
Alison - meet illario. He will townread a bunch of people for no reason then he will promptly change all these reads on a whim. he is much more likely to townread a bunch of people than he is to scumread (and he's less likely to throw out a bunch of townreads as wolf with confidence) - his playstyle is like the exact opposite of yours
thus far think you're both town, gonna catch up

I think my tunnels are more hit than miss. You saw one of the games where it was a miss, but I do see quite a bit of success with catching wolves D1 with my playstyle. I also don't tunnel as much as people think I do. There have been many games where I have spent the first half of D1 going full force on someone and then switched to someone else in the second half because I think it's a miss.alexa wrote: ↑Thu Jul 29, 2021 11:45 pm fwiw i feel like if me/you/alison are t/t/t this is like the lime matrix game (remember i told you alison reminded me of sara w/being hit or miss tunnel !!!), and it's a situation where she's tunneling you because it's your first time playing and she doesn't know your style yet, she can very very easily be a villager

I find that my playstyle is extremely effective and does not allow scum to slip pass the radar at all. I have achieved pretty good success as town with my style of play. Perhaps you find yourself unable to focus on anything else, or constantly degenerating the threadstate, when you attack someone early on. But I suffer from no such malady.
