I missed this.

I'm tired and don't feel like writing a full explanation so here's the short version. I haven't felt the spark you have in your town games (eg. Guillo's Roles) where you feel like you're constantly striding forward. You've felt like you've been resting on your laurels and comfortable in the early townreads you accrued. Your pokes and pushes haven't gone anywhere and you don't seem particularly eager to pursue them; you've accused Seanzie of this, but you're also guilty of it yourself.

If Scotty flips town? Then I'm wrong, I suppose.

I think the sarcastic self-vote is at odds with the fatalistic attitude where you already presume you're going to flip and ask the town to examine your wagon when you do.

I think the "wolves are opportunistically piling on me!" attitude is at odds with seemingly being lost for finding leads and calling everyone NAI.

So Gavial's meta as both alignments involves posting crazy ideas and crazy logic. As town he genuinely believes them and gets offended when people don't agree with him, and sometimes OMGUSes them for it. As mafia he leans into the absurdity to create false spew as well as get townread through audacity.

I considered that his picture-only gimmick might be the latter but I think it's something he decided to do before the game because there's a game currently running on MU with a very similar post restriction and it sounds like something he would rip off. He hasn't tried to lean into it to get townread early so I don't have problems with his slot.

Nah the reason I found you off was that I find the way you’re being secretive about yours townreads to be somewhat performative. I normally tr reads like the one you gave but given that game related content is scarce atm I don’t really any benefit to why you Would be hiding reads atm.

When I make a statement about mech it is because I think that statement is mechanically sound not because I feel emotional about it. Last game could just as easily have the rands favor the mafia, and it would be silly to judge the appropriateness of rands in this game based on the results of the last one, just like it would be silly to judge the appropriateness of going all in in Poker based on how appropriate it was last hand.

The identity of the person who posts last is very close to the traditional system of just flipping a coin, and I think it's stupid to tie when those are decided randomly.
