Since there are some new users to the Syndicate, and this game permits online-status angleshooting, please remember that you can disable your online status on the Syndicate, and not show up in the "X is viewing this thread" indicator. Go to "profile" (the little person icon in the top right), then click on Board Preferences, Edit global settings, and enable "hide my online status". I will repeat this PSA in the game thread itself since not many people read the signup thread.

Scotty will be the MoD - it looks like JJJ can't make it. Probably because of his dissertation. Good luck, Jay's dissertation.

To answer a question that was asked in private, no, I will not give you a mod warning for trying to do the derpclear, this is a laissez-faire moderation game. I will just silently judge you for doing it.

Game starts when filled. Although 8PM EST is in 12 minutes so it'll probably be tomorrow before it formally begins and you can start posting in the thread.

Deadline is at 8pm EST. That's when many NA people will be off work and hopefully Mac and Visor can wake up at 10am for a game. Or just skip EOD, I dunno, it's overrated anyway.

Each town member will be themed after a different mafia misplay, while the wolves will be innocent mafia players trying to avoid having their games ruined.

I am once again experimenting with laissez-faire moderation and permitting the use of AtE so long as it does not violate site rules and two specific forms of angleshooting - checking if people are online and discussing the alignment significance of replacements. I am a firm believer that these methods aren't effective or smart, and I am happy to let players prove it for themselves. It is pretty on-brand for this game's flavor, after all...

Don't make me regret letting y'all have more leeway on what you can do in game. I will go back to being a strict mod with rules about excessive ATE and all if you make this game a circus.
