I'm always voting HK no matter what. Any vote elsewhere would be symbolic at best. I'm down to talk about my suspicions for D2.

I'm down with that (and will more than likely vote HK before EoD myself unless I'm very confident I have a wolf).

My issue is that half of the players in the game are already coasting hard and I don't want to let a lot of these people drop a policy vote on the 3p claim and do no other solving for the rest of the phase.

I mean it already was unfair but it's whatever it is and I've stopped caring.

I read the thread overnight and mistakenly thought I could come back and have a good time b/c gavial had stopped posting and had stopped being a gobshite, but then he purposefully tags me this morning gloating and frankly that just killed it for me. There's no point in asking for a replacement at this point because all that would have done is solidify the wolf read gavial had and make things miserable for whomever that would have been. So I claimed my full role, voted myself off the island, and put gavial on my "do not ever play with again list".

The good news is, chopping me today doesn't actually change anything as far as the game is concerned. You still have other people making pushes on "not hk" reads, you still have other votes and conversations to interact with.

If I were a wolf here I'd just never come back to the thread. I'd silent vote myself and peace out. That way I don't spew mates, and I don't spew townies.

So yeah, just make me the chop today, and then play a normal game of mafia afterwards.

If a wolf gets sus’ed by me and in response the wolf tries to push me back trying to go into a 1v1 against me. A wolf can never win that fight because doing so you reveal to me your wolf and if I know someone is a wolf I do whatever I can in my Arsenal to get rid of them. So here's the thing, gavial, townies have x amount of bodies they can throw away before the game ends, right? Each body that hits the floor that isn't a wolf gives us more information to work with, even if I'm dead. We have wagons to analyze, pushes to check into, and reads that we can explore.

It's basically M:TG theory as applied to mafia games. A magic game ends when one player has 0 life left. As long as town has more bodies than the wolves do, we have a chance to win. We can trade bodies for information, like mtg players can trade life for cards, or board advantage, and as long as we have more bodies we're winning. As long as I have more cards, or a better board, odds are good I'll win, right?

When gavial is town he's generally pretty good at doing actual work, which is why I keep pressing him for what his reasoning is for his read on me, and why I said it's b/c I pwned him in bluey. I don't think he has a real reason for his read because if he did he'd want to be selling people on it, and pointing out how wolfy I've been, or what looks weird and trying to build a case.

Instead he's latched onto a throwaway post, shouted like a toddler, and generally filled the thread with potato based nonsense.

My real read is that he's not town. I'm voting for him because he's behaving differently from my expectations of him, and would like to see him start making actually game relevant posts.
