To be more clear, you're currently displaying " wolf path to success" symptoms, which involve following a very direct and inflexible approach to the game. Which might be the case if porscha/lily/neon are all three townies, something I think it's a possibility right now (even tho I've literally argued for the opposite and will prolly will continue arguing for this as I see fit).

i didn’t only just agree with rans reads now and use her wagon to push them, i was continuing my pressure from last day with an added side helping of frustration that three players who couldn’t be bothered to engage with the game killed somebody who actually was being helpful

but i never said that they were wolfy for it nor have i really pushed them, i’ve just been frustrated at them and pressing them for it not calling them wolves

what i actually wanted was for them to put some skin in the game, which they’re now doing so i don’t feel like i have to keep focusing there

I mean, I understand bolded, but if the three are town then it doesn't really matter where your starting point for pushing them is (unless you started to push her before ran or before they got heat)

In any case I'll drop it because as you might've realized I didn't read anything and I don't even believe in this point that much I wanted to press buttons sorry lol.

Because like I don't. The purge is the true start point of the game. Mafia wasn't killing players either despite how much everyone is freaking out about us giving them time to find them. Town wasn't killing mafia.

Frankly I think the ideal play is to just fuck around and bullshit until the purge and not even talk about the game or think about alignment or try to find scum in a game with a trillion fake players. It's a waste of time and energy and I'd rather spend it BSing about overwatch. But that's fun to me. Hang out talk about stupid things and RVS until half the noise gets perma cut from the game.

And if you think that's wrong. Okay. But to act like I'm being anti town because I disagree about game theory is rather upsetting. I think people are allowed to think differently and avoid group think and shouldn't be vilified for it.

complete purge doesnt exist? Next purge is another 50%, so its not impossible for all of those 3 to remain alive after d7 purge, just unlikely. Currently there is 8 npc's, assuming no other NPC is yeeted or killed at night there will still be 4 npcs alive on d8.

Next purge is all of the remaining npcs, complete, 100%, however you call it, it's in the OP unless mac changed it and I missed it.

The point is that if any of those are alive after the second purge, is because they were lying about being npcs, enough so that they deserve getting lunched for lying so hard.

Porscha/Lily/Neon: Of the three, I'm the most familiar with Lily I think, and she's the one who I currently think is more likely a wolf based on how I perceive her townie game (it isn't like this). I currently feel like there's mosy likely at least a wolf in this group, but I'm not sure if there's more than one, which makes me believe that a wolf might want to push this group of three in some way to get some ammount of credit.

This is, push the ran wagon, which I'm not... entirely sure is wolfy, but I definitely think it's pro-wolf ¿?, because getting rid of ran is a positive for the wolves. But at the same time like, would a wolf just push Ran like that? Wouldn't you be content with wilgy going over and grabbing less attention to yourself?

Santy - I've not liked some stuff from his game, particularly some pushes in the earlier days, his faking of being an npc followed by his claim of being a player when pressured, I think it has decent chances of being a wolf but I'm not sure I've not been reading hard enough.

We might not see the differences between our alignment, but they do, and I choose to respect their beliefs. And maybe that way, we can reach a better understanding between NPCs and Players.

Also fwiw the deleter is one shot as long as it hits an npc, so I don't really see it being used on TSP of all people.

TSP did pinged me as a player for a sec when he posted a list of ppl who he thought were playing, but aside from that, I thought he'd fit the NPC criteria.

The Callisto Protocol was pretty okay, it sure is a Dead Space game. Fits a metagenre I would call "gleefully derivative" - you got the stomp finishing move, the gravity gun with conveniently placed spikes and explosives littered around, some punch-out left-right dodging for melee, the sketchy but friendly guy with an orange jumpsuit and an accent who hands you a wrench and shows you the ropes, all sorts of stuff cribbed from Alien Isolation and Doom 2016 and similar. Ending falls off a bit but it was not a bad ride.

Also still listening to Library of Ruina music and having that series percolate around in my brain. Incredibly good stuff.

I'm certainly a boops and beeps enjoyer, liked the track. I've never played doom actually. You can take away my gamer credentials now.

I've seen bits of Callisto Protocol here and there and yeah, it's a dead space game, which is something I'm very sure I wouldn't enjoy, tho I can appreciate the atmosphere of the genre (and perhaps the combat, unsure), it just isn't for me.

I actually was about to buy Library of Ruina last week I think, alongside like 10 other games, at the autumn sale, and I managed to self control myself to wait until christmas sale after I have less responsibilities. Pretty proud of that one actually. I'm p sure I'd enjoy Library of Ruina, have seen Pawn play a bit and it's up my alley, even been listening to a fair bit of the music already, but my backlog is p big already so idk.

In any case reality exists as long as you let it exists, you just gotta get better at disassociating yourself from yourself and then disassociate that yourself from reality even more and then the layers keep stacking and you're just combo breaking existence, pretty cool actually.

I do frequently find places in my life that do not allow me to do dissociations that I can very clearly see other people are capable of

not sure how other ppl do it I assume most people are very unawares of themselves

I guess in a lot of senses you're far better off not knowing.

Really stressed due to some life stuff, getting better last few days though. My mother came down for her birthday and we had a big "late thanksgiving" dinner for her which was nice. Keepin on keepin on.

I hope life stuff gets better. Glad the reunion was nice, I've always wanted to have a thanksgiving dinner. I've never tried turkey I think. We sort of have christmas dinner I guess but it's in the middle of summer so it's not the same thing.

We use NPC to refer to ppl a lot here, or we say "npc energy". The term started being used as an opposite of "character", this is, someone who has a very strong and distinctive personality.

Another thing to note at is that prs are a lot better for wolves than they are for townies, I think, just bc of the information and the ability to not NK npcs. Like, a fun part of the game would be if wolves just nk'ed npcs every now and then, but with two prs that do kinda the same thing you just aim at ppl who think are players and mafia is bound to hit players every night aside from D1 basically.

A lot of players are kinda really likely NPC's, either bc they have claimed already or just wouldn't sign up as a player.

If you wanna hit someone who's for sure a player and is kinda wolfy, then I think you hit a player like 70% of the time.

If you go for the wolfiest person you prolly'd hit some NPCs.
