All I know is I reset the day and people stay dead.

Whoever holds the ITA role doesn't seem to want to claim.
So I don't see the point in speculating on it.

The ITA mechanic is likely being enabled by someones "anything" role.
I don't think it's a mechanic that is a public game feature.

So how it works is likely not known information.

I also have a pro town day action and if I am going to die let me know if I should use it.
It's optimal to use it tomorrow though.
