I went backwards on this list:
I was going to have a Duplicate night, a Triple threat night and a Death Day but since I did not announce it before my game started the MoD's felt it was unfair of me to presume that you all would want to play a game that was not fully disclosed, but I am a bit of a whore when modding so even tho I think it was ok most people do not LOL. Thats why splints is always my co-host to hold me back.

Nice! I thought I'd have to deal with a lot of sus d2 so your Belzy read was really welcome.S~V~S wrote: ↑Mon Jul 31, 2023 10:08 amIt’s posted in the Discord portal. Since PA tried so hard to discredit that yeet, I got a kick out of it being her night action that ultimately led to it.

Tbh now I I think it very well could be Falcon. At first I thought Wilgy actually didn't mind dying but when he was wagoned he did return and make some effort to tell people he was town. It was probably more defeated wolf than self sacrificing wolf.

Re: Sesame Street Mafia Day 1
If Wilgy flips wolf I found something that's a good look for Ted. I made this post as well as one just generally suspecting Belzy, and one proposing a Belzy/Wilgy/Ted team all at around the same time.Belzy wrote: ↑Tue Jul 25, 2023 1:51 amLast game I did the same w/moto. Also then i was not very vocal w/my CFD. I just give it attention and a vote.Thunal33 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 24, 2023 11:15 pm A tinfoil I have is Belzy/Wilgy w/w. These posts were after both her and myself switched to Robyn and they felt like she was putting on a show for the thread.
Belzy only reacted to the one calling her and Wilgy w/w. If Wilgy is wolf I think Belzy wanted to refute that her/Wilgy were w/w but paid no attention to refuting that her/Ted were w/w.

I think Belzy's spew generally is level 1 in some ways. She can and does distance with teammates and vote them, but when it comes to more in depth interactions like trying to convince someone or trying to discredit someone that person is likely town.

This is true, and Seanzie played at Mafia Cafe too. She successfully pocketed me in the past in a BTSC but I'm not sure how much she remembers that game.S~V~S wrote: ↑Sat Jul 29, 2023 6:58 amI had the impression Belzy and Thunal played at the same forum, Belzy said it in a post.Master Radishes wrote: ↑Sat Jul 29, 2023 5:05 am On D1, Belzy most pushes Seanzie early, then Ted later. She also spends as much energy on Thunal, who she doesn't want chopped. Most every slot slot gets less attention, imo.
Still pondering her intentions with these players. Not every push a wolf makes is on a town, and not every player whose wagon they complain about is on a wolf partner.
For a baseline, her treatment of Robyn and Kate (known towns) is very light touch. Belzy doesn't seem to care about their slots all that much.
I'll read over her iso again later.
Perhaps she was afraid Thunal could read her better than most, and focused on her for that reason?
No idea regarding the others. And her treatment of Robyn/Kate wasn’t that light; she DID kill their slot after all.

I think Wilgy has the most partner equity for Belzy.
kinda think he isn’t bothered by dying
and belzy voted wilgy at EoD when i’ve expressed i could easily vote him, im not sure if kate had posted the list with wilgy wolf at that point in time either, but if so then that’s another
and he’s just someone that would have traction imo esp after robyn’s “AtE” (idk what to call it, prob wasn’t AtE) and thunal garnering villa reads
im not sure if i’d be voting my partner there when it’s prime time for a flashwagon, but idk if i have the order of events right

I have mixed feelings on MR. It felt like Belzy was genuinely annoyed about mislims being taken away from her d1, but she also pushed MR early in a way that suggested she was comfortable doing it and I'm not sure if she'd be that comfy on a townie.

It reminded me of Cyberpunk where LC went "who is this guy? forgot he was playing" on teammate Wilgy. Could be Belzy actually forgetting about Epi though.tedxtr wrote: ↑Fri Jul 28, 2023 5:36 pm I actually thought that post you quoted on epi to be a good sign for him
Mainly because i’ve never seen wolves do that type of post on wolf partners before. If you are w/w you’d be accustomed to that person in your wolfchat obv
There is 1 scenario where it’d make sense as w/w but idk if im entertaining it yet

SVS, Splints, and Seanzie look very good from spew and I really don't see any of them teamed with Belzy. Zenon and Ted look good to a lesser degree.
I still feel like Belzy was making a show out of voting Wilgy more than really pushing for him. I think she didn't expect me to change my vote to him and was more moaning about why we can't CFD Wilgy than actually trying to get a CFD on Wilgy.

There's one thing I thought looked slightly good for Falcon:S~V~S wrote: ↑Fri Jul 28, 2023 6:25 amBased on long standing familiarity and a total lack of trying not to look like a blustering curmudgeon, I think Epi is town. He's not locktown, but I do think he's not bad. I kinda feel the same about Radishes; his pushback, kinda like yours, against me yesterday felt sincere. It almost felt like he thought the whole thing was kinda distasteful (which it was, tbh. But it happened, so I talked about it~ but it's not the way any baddie wants to get caught) more so than that he was trying to save Belzy.
I am very willing to discuss Wilgy, and Falcon, too, though. I would like to come to some kind of consensus by end of day. I think having 4 or 5 vanity wagons at eod each game is a part of why town never wins, tbh.
It feels like Belzy wanted him to be a d1 option.

I went over MR's reaction to SVS/Belzy today and it bothers me that his initial reaction was kind of to handwave it away.

I'm not bothered by MR changing his position a lot after, but the initial reaction being to make a general read on their stubborn attitudes instead of looking at the details of what happened pings me.Master Radishes wrote: ↑Tue Jul 25, 2023 5:41 am I stopped reading things closely because it felt like the same talking points were being repeated.

If Belzy does flip town I think it's really easy for the mafia to sit back and call her and SVS TvT or just disengage from the conflict while the town push her. Ted and Master Radishes are people who could be doing that imo.
If Belzy is mafia I think one mafia could still be doing that but probably not both and imo maf was probably on Belzy at some point today. I think Wilgy and LC would fit the role of maf who wanted to be on Belzy at some point.

It pings me for LC that Belzy was giving LC an in to make reads and look townier, when she definitely did not extend the same invite to Sean who also pushed her early.

Re: Sesame Street Mafia Day 1
I think Belzy may have actually misclicked at one point. I don't think she'd tell two different stories if it were a complete lie, I think she'd try hard to stick with one.Belzy wrote: ↑Tue Jul 25, 2023 1:49 amOr it was Ted instead of Robyn..so even earlier on d1
As I mentioned earlier if I was suspected for a misclick I wouldn't accuse SVS of lying, I'd think we had different views of it. This certainty on SVS feels like Belzy's cornered, and the reasons she comes up with feel made up on the spot. She concluded she had to push SVS first, then found whatever reasons she could come up with later.
I don't really believe out of all the things in SVS's ISO, it's thanking Zenon for explaining that is a + point for SVS and that's the only one. It feels like she's trying not to be perceived as getting into a thunderdome at this point and imo still thinks she has a chance of not being caught.
Then only later she went into the repeatedly pinging SVS and doubling down that SVS is scum.
I'll assume wolf Belzy for this paragraph. I don't think Belzy believed she was caught at first, and I think it would be reasonable for Belzy's teammates to not believe it either. She was still concerned with keeping up images and while she was still suspecting SVS, she was also suspecting Splints and had the thought to give SVS a town point. Only when it became apparent Belzy wasn't getting out of it, she got desperate and accused SVS of withholding info and repeatedly pinged her.
Who isn't teamed with Belzy on this? I don't think Ted is. I think he sees the writing on the wall of Belzy dying way before now and I don't think he chooses to continue to vote Wilgy while suspecting Belzy only to pivot much later than Belzy gave up. I had the idea of an LC/Belzy team earlier but I don't think LC's reaction of seeing his teammate get tunneled is to bus as soon as possible since imo Belzy didn't believe she was completely caught.
I need to go over MR and I see him as a potential Belzy teammate with this. Dismissing a tunnel on a teammate as T/T when that teammate wasn't 100% caught is a good way to try to get people off her.

Re: Sesame Street Mafia Day 1
You can, but I'm wondering why you thought it was necessary to vote specifically Belzy for self pres that early in the day.

Re: Sesame Street Mafia Day 1
I don't know. I just think the idea of testing the poll is towny.Epignosis wrote: ↑Wed Jul 26, 2023 12:39 amWhat are these tests and how do you preform them?Thunal33 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 25, 2023 4:14 pmI already townread Sean but this confirms it for me. Town are way more likely to think of things like testing how the poll resets because they're actually solving instead of faking it.Seanzie wrote: ↑Tue Jul 25, 2023 2:17 pmI'm specifically asking because while Belzy's story seems weird, she does give of kind of an indignant vibe about it. It is possible that is bravado (and that is what I'm leaning towards), but I'd like to rule out the possiblity that your two stories are compatable. The poll is a little funny in how it resets (and I just did a few tests to check my understanding myself), so I want to make sure I know exactly what you're claiming to see to check if it is truly incompatible with Belzy's claim, or compatible, but coming from a misunderstanding about the poll.Seanzie wrote: ↑Tue Jul 25, 2023 2:13 pmJust to be sure I understand though, when you say "definitely once", do you mean thatS~V~S wrote: ↑Tue Jul 25, 2023 2:07 pm @Seanzie definitely once, possibly twice. I didn’t notice and movement any other time. I don’t know for 100% sure. I wasn’t refreshing like clockwork, I know I saw it once after the initial time, but I won’t swear it never happened again.
I saw what I saw and her reaction cemented it for me.
1.) you definitely saw it for one 2-3 minute period between refreshes,
or did you have a situation where you:
2.) saw it, knowing you hadn't refreshed, hadn't clicked to see more posts, anything, for at least 2-3 minutes, then refreshed and it was still there?
