They've died down a lot in the last couple years. I run one every year, and Epi recently ran one as well. Besides that it's been pretty quiet. Marmot has one on hiatus. We definitely need more hosts.

I am confused, because I always assumed hard drive failure would mean the computer just doesn't work. I doubt it's spyware or malware, because the notification comes up in the usual Dell SupportAssist window that I am used to seeing.
Should I ignore this or take it as a sign that it's time for a new computer?
