Linki~ yeah, right? Now is your chance, Elo.
If you can point me to where you think I implied I gave you the shield happened, I'll be happy to address it. I think the really important part to remember is that you *did* get the shield when you needed it even if it didn't directly come from me.

linki with timmer.....I am a quiet player. it is the only way to last even this long from my experience. I do my civ duty and vote for those I suspect.
a) I already said I was worried about boom too and he voted you which gives me pause.
b) I have already said I'm fairly positive I've only to my knowlege played 1 game with you - we were opposite team baddies in that game and I've hosted you and epi as baddie teammates so I've admitted that I could have a clouded view of you.
c) My mind isn't made up and I'm feeling the pressure of having to make up my mind.
d) He did not defend or vouch for you in the Grimm game either. Granted that was a sock game so the issue never came up.

You were dead when I first got the shield. I passed it on once and I've not seen it again. If it was still in play when it saved you then either a) it's only passed through civ hands or b) a baddie gave the shield back to the civs.

linki - timmer - I understand what you're saying. But try to understand what I'm saying too. The simplest answer is the one I'm hinting at.

Re: [DAY 11] The Syndicate's 2013 Game of Champions

Goosey did also imply pretty heavily that she had lots to do with my rez and that it may have been a result of the contest prizes. Again I ask, why would she have rezed me if she wasn't civ? This is one of the things I mean by "her actions in the game aren't consistent with being a baddie."

I guess she could be pulling the wool over my eyes, but it's really, really hard for me to buy that she's bad.

I am torn between voting for Mongoose who is getting defense from a few people but has some decent evidence supporting her as a baddie and Elohcin who has floated entirely under the radar and didn't even really defend herself earlier.

I also am still really uncertain about Boomslang and Spacedaisy. There are some things I found in reading back through their posts that made me feel a little bit better, but not enough to take them off my list entirely. Still too many question-marks.

And my gut still tells me Hedgeowl is good, but I am not at all confident about that.

*Linki* Lots of it, bea, that's what has given me pause about DF...
It would read consistent with the feels I've had about him.

SVS - I'll just be blunt - I thought you were referring to the Sheild when you were talking about the bea related night actions. I admit, I could have been wrong there, but that's how I read your comments. I apparently was pretty wrong about what you were talking about. (there's a shock!)

But if there was no chance of taking out a teammate by doing it, that would have been an excellent way to remove 4 players.

Occam's Razor tells me that theory is not likely to be true. But it popped into my head and I wanted to see what everyone else thought.

Also, I was reading back through some of MP's night posts and the scene in this one stood out to me. The baddies are gathered around playing poker. Catherine Martell, Moriarty, Creeper, and Dr. Fetus are mentioned, as well as Sander Cohen. Is that a hint that as of Night 9, those roles were all still alive? It true, then Rumpelstiltskin is dead and it confirms our belief that Big Daddy and Pirahna Plant are dead.

Also, there was this:
MovingPictures07 wrote:The players then walked over to the bus, ready to head to Illinois. Then, familiarly, it started raining papers, which read:

"I feel pretty confident that DF is a civvie. Also Bea and DH are pretty trustworthy, imo. Not so sure about BWT..."

The papers were signed by Jack Torrence. "Wait... wasn't Jack Vompatti??? And wasn't he dead???" inquired juliets. The champions pondered.
Was this the work of the sinister exaggerator, or something else?
There is at least one civvie role that could have something to do with that. :dalek: :SVS:

BWT, I pointed out FH's quietness because she has a reputation for being a talkative civ with long, detailed posts (like the one I just quoted, actually. That I wasn't seeing much of that pinged me. My play style, on the other hand, is exactly what you've been seeing this whole game.

Unless I'm miss-reading your "bea related night reasons" for trusting me, I think in a 6 degrees of separation thing goosey is also involved. Am I making sense there? I can come out and be blunt about it if I need to.

As for DF - he was looking at me back when I was making myself a pretty good lynch candidate. He very quietly stopped right about the time BDH started standing up for me pretty hard. He also pointed out that there could be civ reasons for the weird moriarty message on the NP FH was analyzing earlier - give me a second and I'll find it again.

DF - I agree with you about being able to determine much about elo from epi's actions. Mostly. I can still see the scenario where they are both bad.

I don't feel comfortable with a goosey vote. She's pretty consistently defended me and been very vocal about it when I've not made it particularly easy for most to believe that I am a civ. This does not make me wary of you DF - I do still have good feels about you too, I just don't understand why she would defend me so hard and hint that she knows more about my rez than I do if she was bad. It would have been far easier for her to let me get lynched. Also, I think she may have been involved in what SVS has referred to as "night things bea related." I could be misreading what svs is hinting at, but I don't think so.

I'm going to do some running around with the hubby - YAY WE GET TO GO GET HIS CAR OUT OF THE SHOP! I'll be following along on my phone so forgive me if I start with the short, not spelled in anyway or probably horrifically full of auto-correct type posts.

Day 9:

Mongoose (8) 8%

Of the votes, Mongoose voted with Kate ttwice when Kate was still living, voted to rezz Kate, and voted with Epi several times. What I find interesting is about the PP plant days is she votes early on days where its 11 and 17, but when its #9 she votes #10 right after it was safe. It just indicates to me that she seem to be voting with knowledge.

The one hitch I had examining her record is it wouldnt make sense for her to vote juliets and then her tean NK juliets that same night, so that gives me pause.

Also, I have been quiet for chunks of this game, because I've had less time to post than in the past and was sick. However, I have posted more than Bwt (who called me quiet) and Lizzy. The people who have posted more than me alive ar Mongoose, bea, SVs, and Nev.
This is an interesting point. I would, however, like to to hear from goosey before I decide what to make of it. I have had consistently good feels about her through out the game. I suppose she could be pulling the wool over my eyes, but I don't understand many of the decisions she's made this game if she isn't civ.

Of those 6, I have better feels about DF and Goosey than I do the others. I have like NO read on the rest of them and that gives me the hebbie jebbies.

I tried to look at Elo's posts today and I couldn't find much anything of substance to even really comment on or try to get a feel for where she stands this game. :| Given that we think Epi was likely the PP, does that change how we look at his early vouch for her on the shield vote? The only games that stick out for me as far as Elo goes, was Grimm and Homstar Runner and she was bad in both of them. I am afraid it's tainting my ability to try to gain something from a lot of not content heavy posts.

Teefies, I've explained more than once on more than once cycle what made me sketchy about you. I didn't really see anything from you that addressed me. Not a "I get why you feel this way, but your incorrect." or anything but "gee wiz guys I'm super busy and barely keeping up." - Which you have to admit, bought you a fair bit of time in the wrasslin' game. I'm sorry if I am indeed wrong about you. But that just makes me wrong about you. Not bad.

SVS - I totally get what you mean and you're right. Sometimes I have a hard time turning it down a notch. I get these moments when I think I'm super brilliant and I'm just super not brilliant, course, and flying off the handle at everything.

DH - Please don't not express yourself for fear of retaliation from me. I'm all bark no bite as they say and I don't even bark all that often. I would not be happy if we were loosing civ insights from you because I couldn't keep my damn trap shut.

SVS part 2 I do agree with you re: things being difficult to interpret based on roles alone. I'm having a dickens of a time over here. It's got me jumping at shadows and second guessing everything. :( Also - I love magenta! :D Don't know that I could pull off those stockings or shoes though. :sigh: The hat - I could prolly rock the hat pretty hard. :D

I rather think that his partner is completely hidden at this point. He might play fast and loose with his role, but he'd never dis a civ partner that way.

Re: [DAY 10] The Syndicate's 2013 Game of Champions

Yes. You are missing the obvious point that as a civ with bts, he wouldn't want people to cotton on to his partner. Just like Baddies shouldn't vote for their partners in those easy day 1 polls, nor should civs with bts. Because that would be outing their partner.

And while I'm thinking of it, if you thought elo was BDH's partner - and his CIV bts - why would you bring it up and pull it up into the open??

I don't know if he was allowed to change his vote - it still doesn't distract from the fact that if you *truely* think that elo is BDH's civ partner - why, as a civ, you would out her so?

OK - so what you are saying is that since BDH - who at the time, didn't want the secret of him being Diggz let out - voted elo in the poll might make elo his partner?

And - I''m fairly positive that MP didn't allow him to change his cheeky vote - but by all means - ask the host about it.

Set him up? Nah, you asked for his vote order so I provided. It does make me feel better about Eloh tho.
I did ask for it - and thank you for providing it as near as I can tell. I'm pretty positive you missed all the times he didn't vote, and I'm pretty sure those were important as well. For *many* reasons.

BigDamnHero was. "You bet! Fuck you!!"

The host sighed. "I hate to do this, but...."

A giant sock appeared out of nowhere, completely covering BigDamnHero. After a few minutes, he couldn't stand it any longer, and stopped breathing, suffocated to death by the enclosed space and terrible smell.

BigDamnHero has been modkilled. He was Thomas.

It is still Day 10.

@Bea Sure I can pull together some stuff. If you want specifics I pretty solidly put forth voting evidence that suggested JC might be with Kate's team and Nev put out a good bit of evidence that might point to JC using shifty language to get a vote boost from Rumpelstiltskin. But off the top of my head these things come to mind

1. Voted for Kate in the rezz poll
2. Nev's analysis of the Rumpelstiltskin power includes JC
3. When Epignosis (Whom I suspect was PP) was a contender for the lynch, JC voted the other candidates, helping Epig avoid being lynched.

Here are some links to take a look at my thoughts on JC

Re: [DAY 7] The Syndicate's 2013 Game of Champions

DharmaHelper wrote:http://www.mafiathesyndicate.com/viewto ... 848#p49848 - This post here pings me a bit. Goose comes to JC's rescue and JC uses that to help explain her inquiry into FH's analysis. Goose btw, is an awesome person and player and every time I've interacted with her it has been a pleasant experience. She has a lovely manner about her and I admire her skill as a player.

http://www.mafiathesyndicate.com/viewto ... 124#p51124 - This post here actually makes me think JC might not be on AP's team. Prior to him being Modkilled she expresses a desire to vote for him. This of course could be a ploy, and it could be JC being irritated at her teammate and trying to nudge him back in line, but IDK. Something to consider, guys.

And then this confuses me:

http://www.mafiathesyndicate.com/viewto ... 418#p51418 - here JC advocates steering away from focusing on Media. Up to this point, (maybe I'm wrong) but the majority of her focus was on Media/Zodac related discussion and not on actual baddie finding.
http://www.mafiathesyndicate.com/viewto ... 470#p51470 - Here she agrees with Nevin's Notion to lynch INH again. Complete 180.
http://www.mafiathesyndicate.com/viewto ... 486#p51486 - her vote for INH
Now the only reason I can think of JC saying she'd like to steer off Indie/Media talk and then flipping 180 would be to make it look like she was actual-mafia hunting then sneak up in there with the easy target vote. Dunno. Again, something to consider guys.

http://www.mafiathesyndicate.com/viewto ... 789#p51789 - See's beas game as civvie
http://www.mafiathesyndicate.com/viewto ... 806#p51806 - votes to give bea the shield
http://www.mafiathesyndicate.com/viewto ... 934#p52934 JC's response to Kate's death. Seems to think she was a civ. Hmmm.
http://www.mafiathesyndicate.com/viewto ... 944#p52944 JC investigates Kates killing. Vested interest?
http://www.mafiathesyndicate.com/viewto ... 049#p53049 - brings up the bwt susp. but says its not enough to vote on (note bwt also voted to rezz Kate.) Bwt by the way is a pretty neat dude. Very cool to talk to and so on. He's got a great style of play that I always enjoy. My experience of playing with him tells me he's a dangerous baddie and an invaluable civvie.

Thats all I've got for now, as it is mondo late and I am mondo tired. From this analysis however I am not really comfortable with JC's civvieness. She has certainly moved up in my suspicion list, and I am interested in others thoughts about here. The most interesting thing I can see is that she seems to be very focused/understanding of some of the indie roles and then very distracted/confused regarding the mafia roles.
If JC is bad, and she has a teemate, I really truely hope it's not goosey.
