But seriously though, while Matt Smith got handed some pretty awful scripts, I got really tired of his "sunshine and butterflies and rainbows" carefree attitude at times. His last season helped redeem a lot of that for me though, because it was not only his best season, but one of the best seasons in the history of the show.

Linki: I started getting into Doctor Who about a month before Smith's last season started. I caught up quickly enough that his last season ended right as I started it (not counting the 50th and his last Christmas special there obviously). So I binge-watched the hell out of it.
