How do you know Chard was the cop, and not possibly seemer? Your case last night doesn't really say why Grogu is scum, it kind of just assumes Grogu is scum, and makes a bunch of implications off that.

Ehh, no one ever outs themselves as cop to give a green check unless maybe like someone is about to be mislunched without it, so I don't think wolves would believe the fakeclaim. Like say Chard is scum. The most logical explanation is they are treading water/doing a townie looking thing by faking a red peek soft that they are never gonna follow through on. Which means it doesn’t really say anything about Gru’s alignment.

I agree, I don't know how to read into what Chard is doing to determine Grogu's alignment. I'm not sure, but Chard looks weird. I don't know if Grogu is mafia or not, Chard could have been trying to distance without necessarily bussing (like soft a check, Grogu knows it's coming and can react towny, then Chard rescinds the soft, making it look like they both were town, and definitely not teamed all along), or Grogu is town, and Chard doesn't want to be on Grogu's wagon, or maybe even Nutella is wolf, and so it makes sense for Chard to help take out people who are suspecting Nutella more than taking out Grogu.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 13, 2021 6:23 pmBut like is the argument that Chard wanted to bus Gru and now wants to save him? Also worth noting that townies faking claims or checks is pretty uncommon on my home forum, MafC. It has happened, but like... I am pretty sure more townfolk have lied in this game than in all my games there combined. Simple answer: DoO's redcheck was the first fake thing I had read in the game (idk if anyone did any notable lies in D1, I wasn't around then, and only read a few pages of it). Since then though, there have been a ton of lies and deceptions in the thread, so I am a bit more skeptical about what people say now.
Plus, DoO followed it up with saying she strongarmed the check, which added credibility. Essentially that makes it so that DoO was claiming that if we lunched Falcon and Falcon flipped town, we should lunch DoO.
First off, I'd like to clarify that I didn't NOT believe the redcheck on Grogu, just that I mostly was reserving judgement on it. I didn't even know you faked a redcheck at first (I found out about the redcheck because someone mentioned that Mac had a redcheck).
I literally haven't been caught up all game. If there was something that I thought would be compelling to help people townread me, I would offer it, but like... I can't argue with anyone's null read because I really haven't done much. I think Chard is town. He feels too comfortable to be a wolf unless the other wolves are some really weird couple like 112 and Quas and that’s just generally unlikely.
Mac’s “you got got, nerd” is fine. Wrongtown Mac would say something like that. Still a pretty solid townread.
Kza’s read on me is problematic but there’s enough reason to townread him besides that he’s probably just wrongtown.
I’m not sure on Radishes. Nothing he’s saying pings me as dishonest per se but Radishes is generally good at reading me and it’s concerning that he’s so wrong. New players incorrectly suspecting me? Normal. Nutella or Mac incorrectly suspecting me? Super normal. Radishes incorrectly suspecting me tends not to happen. Twice in recent history, he’s been arguably my strongest supporter while I was a consensus suspect and he was totally right to peg me as a townie. Heck, one of those games involved “weird interactions” between WMichelle and TJack D1 ending with a D1 WMichelle yeet. So why is town Radishes off? But I don’t see anything blatantly dishonest so idk. Conflicted. He can stay in the poe.
I agree she's lagged behind recently in the sense that she's rolling with the momentum of the game, but also the momentum has led to hits, so I'm doing the same and so is my strongest townread Kaz.
I can nitpick things, like her overall progression on Michelle. And if we inch towards end game and struggle to flip the final wolves, I'll definitely be re-evaluating her first before Kaz or Made (my other strong townreads).
But so far the Town, as a whole, has done a solid job finding the scum team, and I see no reason to start becoming paranoid about a key member of that successful Town at this moment in time.
I've also been getting some weird pings from Nutella. I don't really blame people for having me in the PoE since I'm probably null to most, but Nutella has kind of pushed on me in ways that feel less than genuine. I'd love to explain to you exactly how wrong you are about me, but like... I really got nothing here. I missed D1, and have been super behind ever since. I have like no reads on anyone. I've only played with like 3 people in this game, and while at this point I think I can differentiate between most of the names, I just don't really have anything that feels productive to offer on anyone.
Because everyone and their mom has been lying in this game. Because the wolves we've flipped are not the ones that mess with info. Because the person who was "redchecked" said they can clear themselves via a claim. If they didn't do that, and the person claiming the redcheck didn't rescind it, then yeah, I would vote there for sure. There are a lot of reasons why Gman may have did what he did (such as realizing that there is almost no chances that two wolves claimed, then CC'd his role, so chances are one of you was town trying to protect his role by CCing in his place [possibly with some NA info or something]), and he didn't want to out himself dealing with it. imo he should take the shot on Nutella or Seanzie. From my pov, If i'm Seanzie here, regardless of alignment, I'm tunneling Nutella here to avoid getting shot, and he's doing it so. I think Nutella keeps looking worst, so personally, I'd shoot her (which is a flip from like 5 minutes ago, but it be like that sometimes). Neither shot here is bad i think.
