The fact that Mac is trying to pretend like he doesn't have blood on his hands from the Alison wagon also looks bad IMO. If town!Mac just didn't realize the moon card would have been played and not realized how his D2 play would be taken advantage of, I think he'd own up to it and move on. Instead when I've pushed him about it, he pretends like it didn't happen and doesn't engage with the idea.

He's also tried to deflect me in ways that remind me of how he deflected me in GoC2021.
Yeah...I shot Mac in GoC 21, but my shot actually backfired and killed me. Luckily someone saved me, and someone else also shot Mac.

He does have a bit of that energy.

I don't like this post. Maybe it is genuine, but the GoC21 reference how I meant it is something personal to me/Mac, he was strugging with finding a way to counter me when he was wolf (you might remember Lost In Space mafia, where him and Alison tried to argue me out of the tunnel on them, and it did not succeed, that was shortly before GoC), and in GoC he found an effective counter in making me feel like me pushing him was making him enjoy the game less. He did the same thing here, and I don't think that's what you're talking about, so you're going to have to tell me how he is reminiscent of GoC21.

One of these is the literal demonstrable reality we live in.

My working theory is that actually you never intended FS to go over, not expecting Lucy's involvement. You wanted to wash your hands of mostly town wagons, make sure you weren't on one that flipped, instead on a small wagon that wouldn't really ever been looked at closely.

I totally didnt realize that until recently.

The Oracle can find the Zealot, but as far as I can tell, that's it. Since N2 targets were randed, she has less info than she would otherwise by now. There is a small chance that N1 she found a group of 3 with the Zealot and perhaps Jack is one, and I am considering that, but regardless her softing a single zealot read is not at all the same as her trying to control the wagons. EoD1 we lost a lot of information, and I don't want that to happen again.

Unless you know of some other way the oracle gets alignment info (other than a very small amount of info gained from possible card usage, which is likely going to be very difficult to decipher), this is not so much info that we should just blindly sheep whatever wagon Lucy tells us to.

I think any one person, even an IC, trying to take the reins of the game into their own hands is extremely bad for threadhealth, wagonomics, and in general gameplay. It creates a gamestate that is extremely easy for wolves to work around and that limits all the townies abilities to do their things.

It is towny to be opposed to a bad strategy. The purpose opposing it serves is to hopefully convince you to realize that what you're asking of the thread is IMO a bad way to play the game that does more harm than good.

So after seeing Fingersplints flip, my thoughts are

1. Some of the top players are likely bad to create that big of a wagon on LHF that fast and late.

2. Except idk if that is fully correct because Lucy was campaigning hard for it

3. Since we have an unkillable IC, we need to find a way to effectively play around that. I don't think it is in town's best interest to turn the game into "pocket Lucy, sheep Lucy". This is no judgement on Lucy, just a fact that it isn't a good way to play.

Oh, I forgot to mention SPF. I am wary of them since I saw them wolf. Their creature case which you lauded about reminded me of wolf!SPF, but I wasn't super confident about it, and when SPF asked me about it and a few other reads, I thought they were going to be critical of me, and weren't. I'd relook at them if you're alive tomorrow since that interaction made me feel like they were more concerned with preparing for my push on them rather than sorting me by understanding my thoughts on them. I'm not going to say I have any confidence in my ability to read SPF though.
