Good game! I had so much fun playing on a new site with some new names! Absolutely not my best game (made some critical errors that are #regerts), but I enjoyed it.

To help clear up any and all confusion, I was truthful in my claim. I am a 3p survivor who had to choose a wincon to align to. I did, in fact, choose town. I did have a 1-shot commuter that I used N1 because Act is nothing if not paranoid But to help clear up the confusion on why I had to choose sides, I’m also a win thief. If town won and I was still alive, I would have stolen the win. It was in my best interest for town to win, and I played with a townie mindset. My reads are genuine and I have no clue who the mafia are. “Should” is relative, but yes it’s very common for survivors to just claim immediately. 3p claims are not automatic eliminations. One can argue that they should be (I am ambivalent). I’ve 5 3p wins on this site personally, and in 4 of those I claimed quite early or was otherwise outed anyway. In one of those four I even had an anti-town win condition.

Mafia aren’t usually killing a survivor claim. Town often doesn’t bother chopping them either. It’s probably the single easiest role in common Mafia to win with.

Your claim is slightly different in that you say you have to pick a side early. That’s one thing I tend to doubt about it — it essentially makes you town but explicitly weaker than every actual town. We don’t have to survive to win. That doesn’t make a ton of sense.

I have to survive to win. If I don’t survive, I don’t win. If that’s not normal to the role, then clearly there are variations in this game (@Guillotine lol).

Who are you all arguing with? Who, other than Bad Bunny, has suggested I live? Instead of spending these hours considering a world in which I’m telling the truth and what that could mean for mafia possibilities, you all spent it thinking I’m lying and convincing yourselves why I’m the preferred yeet.

No. Act is being voted because her interactions with all three of the flipped wolves look worse than anyone else's interactions with those three players. There is nothing in the thread which directly suggests that Act is the poisoner.

Which is what prompted my claim. The interactions thing is a fool’s errand. It is way too easy to manipulate the outcomes of things like that and ISOs and reads lists. Anyone can make stuff like that look any way they want in concentration.

I’m not lying about my role, and N1 I chose to align with town. I had a choice, I chose town. I have played mafia since 2013 and this is the first time I’ve played a survivor role. Love the game, hated my role lol.

As I expect. My purpose for claiming is not to save myself, but to offer what minor information I had and an explanation for my play style. When I die and flip 3p, the automatic speculation is that I’m scum sided, and to remove that question or doubt, I am making the claim here. It will help town to know that my mindset was town and that I commuted N1 when looking at the game state of things. I will flip 3p survivor, and it will confirm my claim. When that happens, you’ll know I played singularly and uninformed. I don’t know who tf mafia is, and I voted Owner and Orange because I thought they were scum (and I did genuinely think Dana was too).

I don’t trust Guillo, Allcrab, or Martin (not necessarily in that order), and I have vague mistrust in Jay, Seanzie, LostMonkey, and Gnome. Idk how many 3ps there are, but if the poisoner is a 3p, I imagine Alison is not a 3p because I don’t see there being more than 2 3ps (unless there are two of my role? In which case someone here knows I’m not making shit up right now haha). I’m horrible at mechanics, but that’s my guess.

Why do you care about helping town after your death if you lose when you die

Because I like the game and plan to root for town. I have no vested interest in this game after I die lol. But I will watch from the graveyard rooting for town to win because I aligned myself with town and played this game as town.

I don’t have a kill power. I had a commuter thing allowing me to “leave” which basically meant I couldn’t be targeted. Although, apparently there are some actions that could still target me because I wasn’t immune to all of them according to the wording of my role.

I unfortunately have nothing to offer except my word that I was town-sided and played with a townie mindset and the information that I commuted N1.

I can assure you though, I have absolutely played with a townie mindset. It has been in my personal interest for town to win, even though I am 3p.

I wouldn’t have claimed if I didn’t think I was today’s yeet. I don’t expect to be saved for claiming 3p haha. But I have absolutely been town-siding, and to avoid any confusion of that after my flip, this claim needed to happen.

Allcrab claimed the exact role as LoMo which is safe. He can just parrot whatever LoMo said. Allcrab claimed same role then switched to unlimited. I dont know anymore, when i saw that Sloonei actually had a desperado shot and i mean that he actually inherited an used desperado shot, that is when i realized that I've been so wrong about my expectations from a normal game here, that i dont have the energy or the will to push hard about my spec theories anymore.

Before the shot i believed that Martin could be the mafia healer and that there was a wolf in LoMo/AllCrab but post second desperado shot, i think anything is possible here plus Alison brought up a good point, if the set up was dualistic like that then mafia would have received fake claims so why not use them, why declare roles that can be counterclaimed, why put themselves out there like that if not true.

If i see one of them flipping red i'd not be surprised however.

Can you answer my question about your claim? Why did you decide to claim when you did?

It is easy to look at an ISO or these interaction things that Jay has been doing through an lens and get a confirmation bias. You can pick and choose the details that stand out and pretend like these are objective game observations but it never is with the way language functions.

I began the game suspicious of Dana. Obviously my read was wrong, but I truly believed Dana was scum at the time. I kept my vote there rather than take the opportunity to bus. If I’m going to go hard and bus multiple teammates, why would I stubbornly remain on Dana? Going into D2, I went back to Dana. This clearly draws attention on me and reminds everyone of my stubbornness. Several times I answered to that vote and stubbornness and explained that I don’t follow consensus for the sake of following consensus. That would have set myself up to avoid bussing. I loudly proved I don’t consensus vote, so why would I fall into “opportunity” later? I voted for Owner with my own case against her. Then, I voted Orange and suggested Orange should be the kill. I understand you all think I was bussing, but if I’m going to bus, it’s going to be worth it. If I was going to bus, I’d make sure I was in a position to be hella town read for it to make their deaths worth it. I know I’m not some established mafia expert, but I’m not that awful at the game either. I voted for Owner and Orange because I genuinely suspected them, not because they were an opportunity or a forced bus. At the time I voted for Orange, votes were on Martin. I could have stayed on Martin, Orange was no where near the definite kill at that point and the wagon was splitting up.

Allcrab knows my play style and has correctly read me as town recently in a game in which many people read me as scum. Either his read is crap this game, or he knows better and is attempting to shade a player easily shaded. This means nothing to most of you, but it’s partly why I’m doubting Allcrab’s claim. I don’t like reading people that way, because I think my play does change game to game, but Allcrab has made no effort to question me or engage with me so idk, it’s a nag I can’t shake. Not something I’m sitting here saying “He’s scum!” For it, but it’s a feeling.
