Re: [D3] Lost in Space Mafia
Red: So your case is that you're bad at the mafia alignment?
Yellow: Both wolves voted Fext D1, I'm not granting you this one
Green: I agree, I commented on how both were having a go at you
Purple: I don't understand how this is a point in your favor given it's a big part of my case, whoever is Alison's mafia partner completely ignored her obvious scum day 1 which was enabled by townies following suit. I understand that people in this game are smart, they are not your average mafia player. These people are well-read. they are in college or have degrees. they know about analyzing data and drawing conclusions... But man, it's fucking awful that you all overlooked obvious scum Alison, and obvious town Fext. And that really makes it a very complicated decision today... Given that this setup has no room for error.
Orange: So was Mac, so was Creature, So was Wilgy. The issue is there are so many people who were voting in ways that left Alison with very few options... Yeah, you could have gone off of Alison, and you would have died for it... Don't take credit for my work on pushing Alison, it's embarrassing.
I haven't re-read, still need to do that, I don't know what to think.

Also, the vast majority of my recent posts aren't to you, they're to the rest of the thread.
Still waiting on you to explain why you think I'm scum... because guess what? You've voiced scumreads on me all game, but haven't actually explained why. I really can't fake this level of aggression on people like you, Fext or Alison. You've seen me wolf before and you can look at all my past wolf games. Unless you think I'm somehow just overshooting my wolf range by 10 miles, I am an easy read here.
This is not really to Mac, but to everyone. I can be found here.
You look like Alison's teammate. You were both responsible for the d1 miselim and then started day 2 ignoring each other's existence. Your interactions are typified by spotfire flare ups but when push came to shove you both voted where you did (on each other) after all your other avenues were exhausted.
This is just not how wolves play. If Mac believed that we were doing this, this read would be something like "even though it's weird that they would both double-down on a town newbie, they could have" or something, but no. This is not typical wolf teammate behavior. Mac knows this, but needs to make a case out of nothing.
this is literally categorically false. I entered D2 pushing Mac more because I have an easier time reading Mac, but right as soon as Alison entered the thread, I immediately started engaging with her, and quickly became convinced she was wolf, and spent hours trying to convince everyone through showing that her arguments were in bad faith.
Again this is categorically false. Aside from a few jabs early on D1 to get a sense of where Alison's head was at, I more-or-less ignored her until D2 I engaged with her for hours, and didn't stop until she flipped. Granted, I did engage with Mac more than Alison D2, but not much more and only because I suspected both of them, strongly suspected them as a team, and everyone else was already pretty much there on Alison.
I am legit the reason Alison couldn't have tried to go somewhere else. I was NOT AT ALL in contention D2, and only through you and Alison pushing me was I ever an option at EoD. If Alison and I were wolves together, this is so unnecessary and we literally shot ourselves in the foot. IIIIIIIIIII made Alison commit to a hardstance on me to lock her in IIIIII did that. Town!Sean did that. I am proud of my play this game, and I'm not going to let scum!Mac take this away from me. Please everyone find me. I am findable. I know I am findable. This I also agree with. Alison's move to Seanzie was rather awkward and seemed to only happen because of Mac's vote.MacDougall wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 9:57 pm Alison didn't go to Seanzie until after I did. Also Falcon would have been more inclined to vote Creature than Seanzie. Objectively makes no sense for me to do what I do as her partner and all of her play is designed to make me look as bad as possible.

Re: [D3] Lost in Space Mafia
Yeah, the only chance for a tie was convincing creature, which is why I didn't post at EoD, I didn't want to accidentally rub Creature the wrong way (Also, I thought Creature was aka another person, but that's neither here nor there).DrWilgy wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 9:53 pmBut sheriff, the problem with the line of Alison going to Creature is that bloke was still on a vanity wagon. Creature self defending would've just sent the varmint over. Seanzie already had voted Alison at this point right? I reckon the only chance for a tie was the new wagon that your vote opened.MacDougall wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 9:24 pm I moved my vote off Creature and onto Seanzie. Creature had a vote on him (Wilgy). Seanzie had no vote. Alison then tries to push Seanzie and not Creature. She was clearly trying to take advantage of my vote to spew me mafia and Seanzie town. I think she was trying to spew Creature mafia by refusing to push him. The whole day was a setup to make me and Creature the game winning miselims.

Re: [D3] Lost in Space Mafia
I'll tell you one thing - the issue with yesterday's vote is that DrWilgy stuck to Creature, Mac stuck to Seanzie. Surface level, Mac & Alison / Seanzie & Alison teams both had very limited options because Creature was a swing vote. Any move against Creature would be suicidal because Creature would swing the vote onto Alison, and Seanzie couldn't very well move onto himself.
This points to DrWilgy being town because he's the only player who could realistically have swung the vote.

My memory serves proper, didn't Seanzie have a suspicion on Alison rather early in the day tough? And would've that been necessary of a partner in crime?

Re: [D3] Lost in Space Mafia
Here is my legacy (under the assumption that Alison flips mafia):
I think Creature is town.
I think DrWilgy is town
I think Falcon is town

I think Mac is town.

Here is my legacy (under the assumption that Seanzie flips town):
I think DrWilgy is town
I think Falcon is town
I think Creature is town
Here is my legacy (under the possibility that Alison is town):
Fuck if I know, but I'll probably be alive.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The issue with my reads is that DrWilgy's play doesn't live up to the read. So as always in mafia, I'm stuck evaluating deviation from expectation rather than simple good vs bad (and this isn't a slight on anyone by the way).
Another issue with you and Mac at each other's throats which you'll have to understand is... As of right now, I have a mind to kill both of you, as I try to re-evaluate. Therefore if you're wrong on Mac and if Mac's wrong on you, it's game over. I think I'll start with re-reading as I said, but somehow you need to make this not a thunderdome, unless you're willing to stake the game on it.

Re: [D2] Lost in Space Mafia
It's based on the fact that at least one of Alison/Mac/Seanzie are scum. All of them have worked pretty hard to improve their position in the game at some point today (I would expect less of anyone who's partnered with Creature due to their play). Though, maybe more importantly, every single one of them is content with the status quo on Creature.falcon45ca wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 11:52 amBecause Alison/Mac are scum, or is there something towny you're seeing that I'm not?NotAnAxehole wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 11:00 am I actually think Creature is town (is this a bad take?)
Let's say I'm wrong on all of Alison/Mac/Seanzie, which we both agree is unlikely. You're willing to kill Creature, and DrWilgy exclusively wants to kill creature.
Like... There's gotta be something to this yeah? - The other motivating factor is that I think Alison is the most likely to flip mafia in the entire game... Why does she give 0 fucks about Creature? If Alison is Mafia, she's pushing to clear me, and no one else and she's giving enough plausible deniability for her interactions with Seanzie to at once be potential spew & potential distancing.

Though, playing devil's advocate to my own argument, if my goal is to get Alison killed, Lime Coke could reasonably be turned in that direction after the Fext flip + it's unclear what I would assume about Alison's read on Lime Coke, is it solid, or is it fabricated?
ALSO, I don't push Alison if I'm mafia. Or at the very least, I don't consider pushing Alison to be a good idea for mafia... Every play is correct some % of the time.

If you were an easy kill you would have died yesterday. Fext was literally inno child.Alison wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 3:24 amI was a top wagon yesterday and I'm a top wagon today. You don't need LC around to do that, and the same goes for your assertion that you don't push me when you're mafia because I'm a hard person to exe or whatever.NotAnAxehole wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 2:10 pmYou're right, I would kill Lime Coke if I were mafia in this situation. Re: [D2] Lost in Space Mafia
This is a categorical falsehood, the motivating factor was his reads (that were bad at the time) and that he was perceived as a strong player who could reevaluate. I argued keeping him.Alison wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 3:45 amI N1ed him in BTAS. iirc it was just for being obvious town and not because of any particular threat though.MacDougall wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 6:15 pm I actually was thinking about this game 15 mins ago when I was getting my coffee and had a thought that the LC kill doesn't make sense for Alison to make because LC wasn't an Alison voter and also because LC isn't an Alison threat, but maybe I'm tripping.
@Alison have you ever night oned Lime Coke before?

Sean was voting for Mac, but I was hounding him about it yesterday, so he switched to Alison.

I would be inclined to trust your progression if you ended up on Alison at EoD.MacDougall wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 8:49 pm sean is not allowing himself to view anything outside of his very narrow worldview which leads me to believe that he has less of an agenda to solve the game than he does to force through two mislynches

But the coasting pre-dates the town read.Creature wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 8:18 pmI feel like they've done just enough to be townread and then coast to endgame. I saw you all fighting early and Wilgy felt like one safe from all of it.

Not exactly, the thing I'm interested in is directly comparable to how she handled partners in Batman: The Animated Series. I don't want to bore you with that game though, so I'll spare you of the deets.

Re: [D1] Lost in Space Mafia
This is NOT accurate, it's one of the first tells I checked when I got on site - I think there is content within the first post that can be read into - need more data in more varied contexts, but the fact that he makes it is not.MacDougall wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 6:32 pmI am not going to lie. Re: [D2] Lost in Space Mafia
There's actually one bit of information from D1 that made me think this was exceedingly likely... But keep doing your thing.MacDougall wrote: ↑Thu Jan 13, 2022 5:32 pm That being said Alison/Seanzie coming into today after leading a mischop the way they did might consider hardcore bussing each other to separate. Which could explain why they have talked around each other and neither has made much sense, and why Seanzie has been hardcore pushing me and Alison hasn't been actually committing to bussing him. It's probably what I would do in their position.
