Ok, let's be clear. If Gavial is mafia, both Urist and I are town, if Gavial is town, Urist is mafia.

Yeah, I think the only way Urist can be town is if Gavial is mafia, so claims are good if there's a PR. I would argue even tracker should claim.

Tell me about the valid wagons.

From my experience, Nanook and Srceen can mostly attest to this. If Urist and I are cross-voting, there are no other valid wagons.

I'm unclear if Urist and Nanook are both scum, or if Nanook is just sheeping the incorrect wagon... And make no mistake, right now there are only 2 valid wagons, and neither of them are Srceenplay.

If I thought it was the correct play, I would have switched with more than 15 seconds left in the day.

It's not worth a counter claim atm in my opinion, today or yesterday.

It's 100% worth a cc, the PR is pretty useless to begin with AND late game claims are entirely WIFOM.

It's not an optimal situation for sure, but PRs shouldn't be putting town in that position to begin with. The issue is that it gives mafia a lifeline, so in the long run it's better to kill through last-minute claims.

Today obv we only kill Gavial on a counter-claim that occurs in the first 12 hours because the PR is basically pointless now that they've missed once.

Srceenplay is right though, killing Gavial was the correct play.

I messed up voting for post-game rather than reads.

I'm mainly typing to inform people that I am here, and I am either actively watching Gavial get buried, or I am ready and available to switch my vote. I cannot claim which.

PR claims don't help you live where some of the players come from, so this is not at all surprising.

2 entities know the setup from the start... Mafia, and the town PR. Nothing is guaranteed right now, there is no one clear correct mechanical play, I think that's what people are seeing. So, Urist won't automatically become the top wagon for that reason.

The issue is, I townread Srceenplay and nobody who has the ability to read Srceenplay scum reads him. I suppose all of them could be mafia, but it's just a very specific scenario where Srceenplay is mafia with only Mafia451 players... Seems... Unlikely.
This is a fair point. Who in this game would you say has the ability to read him?

Urist, myself, Nanook are the players where if even 1/3 had a scum read, I would say you should consider it, if it's 3/3 town, then Srceenplay is just the wrong place to go. I think Nanook had a historically bad read on Srceenplay at some point, but I'm pretty sure he fixed that. If anything, Nanook is mafia for correctly town reading Srceenplay. *shrug* But yeah, the default read on Srceenplay is mafia for most players, but I think he's a good combination of funny and genuine here.

#272 - feels wack to me. IDK why srceenplay would townread someone who essentially is saying, "Yeah, I feel the same." Read on DrWigly comes too easy given the content of the post.

#49 - I dunno if this is a troll post, but it feels written in a way that is genuine, which if so, feels off. "How do you know you are town?" is not exactly a great probing question. Just feels like a perfunctory attempt to appear instigative. Generally, I think townie questions have a purpose, whether as a RT or to gain greater insight. I don't see what the point of this question is.
