It's weird but I can see this being a legitimate thought process that I might understand? It's small but it's a start and it's something I can at least explain somewhat.

Like the main thing I'm seeing in Nutella's iso is her having a progression on a few players as she's reacting to what's going on in the game.

this is kind of what's bothering me about you this game. i feel like you're townreading me for like, verifiably good reasons. reasons you can talk about and quantify. i feel like a lot of the time when you're town, you townread me for ehhhhh reasons but defend it to death.

and like, yeah you're absolutely right. i realized lately i hate mafia and feel dead the whole game etc etc (i love 3p for fortune of lies was dif). but it just feels like you're able to explain it too well for you as town.

This is probably because I've finally started to re-define how I play recently?

Earlier in the year I mindlessly hard-defended you, Anne, and my other main townreads I'd have in games via raging on everyone else as town, and for you specifically I would just add random generalized things that you do in games. This worked because you never randed mafia and I got by because I would always be correct.

Then Constellations and 3 other games happened in a row where I hard defended mafia, and made town lose because of my hard shielding.

I mainly started it all because of CV mafia, where I detailed all of my townreads that were correct, however the only townread I never explained thoroughly was Esooa's alt which was the only townread I was incorrect on.

Like I do end up naturally townreading you and Anne for the most part, but recently I've been trying to come up with a policy of coming up with a legitimate reason to shield you 2.

If you noticed in Champs But Different game I never actually hard shielded Anne until Day 2 when I had a legit reason to have her town, but keep in mind also I refrained from screaming at people that were scumreading her but instead I just posted a generalized post talking about why she was town alongside the rest of my towncore until I died.
I might go back to that habit of forcing people to townread my townreads, like I did during Fortune of Lies, but I'm still trying to shake that habit off.


And before you say it, yes I sat back and did nothing while you were scumreading Anne a few hours ago, but I was just letting things pan out because I felt bad about yelling at you during Pokemon Mash when you were right and I was wrong and seeing that it got to you.

That process was a dedicated POE hunt that if I recall caught him some flak last time, and despite that he stuck to it (until perhaps running out of gas). I am seeing some of the same general mentality in this young game, not just in a pursuit of town reads but in a general perspective that there's a process and it will work if I allow it to work. An example is LC's reception of suspicion: to give a basic effort to convey a town spirit while mostly just trusting others to get there. So I appreciate all of that from LC so far.

I've literally only end gamed and won 1 mafia game as scum and it was a light game that town decided to shit itself Day 1 onwards. I'm usually outed by Day 2.

even if you only end gamed and won once, you still play a good scum game. i had you as town in buckets and in the other game you were scum on MU and i spectated games you were scum and got TR by like everyone. people consider you more polarized than you are. anyway, if you're town i'm confident i can find you based on you actually making reads and such, you are just feeling a bit off to me with recent posts. i wanted to ISO you to see if i missed something earlier that would've made me lock town you but the function wasn't working sigh.

I'm trying to put more focus on the non-EM'ers because I'm pretty sure I can get the 3 (Or 4 counting SPF who hasn't posted yet) of them read a bit more naturally. I'm just being slower on the draw on the non-EM'ers because they're all great players that I'm sure I could end up misclearing/misvoting them.

Ehhh I think it’s fair for her to say this since I’ve pushed her on it before for similar reasons. I would say though that alexa is one of 5 people whose reads I would potentially actually factor above my own if she felt very strongly on something I also felt strongly about. So ig I’ll wait and see how her read develops

Her first two posts at day start basically saying "I didn't want to be in this, I might regret this later" and the way she's just stating shit like the "" posts that she's not actually elaborating on.
From what we've seen at this rate Anne enjoys being mafia more now that she's realized that she's a good wolf and probably likes it more for a specific reason. Plus as mafia she's probably more aggressive?

Illartic (AKA: you and Leetic) is just the role claim just feels like a town role. Gives me less work to do when majority of this game is strong ass players that I would need to really dig into actually reading them.
