I didn't walk it back, though I did qualify it as being of a Day 0 caliber. He's a town read.

Other people are generally terrible at reading Sloonei or even understanding on a basic level what he tries to accomplish, so I tend to see it as my responsibility to keep that under control while I am alive if I read him accordingly. I've started to get similar treatment in recent memory, and he has taken to treating me the same way. It's a symbiosis. Ew.

- Marmot
- SPF
- Dom

- Fingersplints

I have null reads on Marmot, LC and Dom, and slight town reads on SPF and Fingersplints. I am interested in investigating them because...

- LC/Marmot's alignment sheds light on the alignment of other players. For example if LC is scum then you look great and the people that called LC town for no reason look really bad. Same with Marmot, SPF's pressure on him is telling if Marmot is scum.

- I find Dom to be a passionate and high energy player. While I don't think his absence from the thread is super AI, I would like to resolve him ASAP because I think I would work well with him if we're both town.

- Fingersplints is doing all the townie stuff that she usually does in other games, but she isn't as obvious town to me as she has been in both other games I've seen her town. I would like to understand why. This is the primary reason for reading her only lightly town and why I have her as a slot to look into.

- Out of all the players in my game, my read on SPF has varied/jumped around the most. I find half her content to be extremely townie and the other half to be insipid or misguided.

I'd appreciate others' perspectives on Bo.

Both times I have seen Bo play mafia he has focused on trying to coast and slide UTR. He's good at maintaining a lowkey presence, which is why he sometimes gets pushed as LHF by mafia, and why he's good at going UTR as scum. His read on tutuu did not seem to me like someone trying to slide by. I don't have a strong reason to townread Bo but I don't have concerns on his slot either.

I spoilered the town tiers, because I hate re-posting my obnoxious lists over and over. I did add one tier and moved some names around in there though, so have a click. Some players in the POE pool I have even had moments of positivity for like KZA and LC. Those moments are fleeting in the grand scheme of the game state though, so they edge into the pile. I'm likely to be wrong about at least one town-inclined read, perhaps more, and I am torn overall on a number of slots. So it's quite grain of salt still.

A few things have thrown me off from the beginning but his current vote for Marmot is something that inclines me to think that way as well. I also just don't think his iso is carrying the proper tone and I'm wondering if his read on sloonei was developed improperly. He also also seems hesistant to say things that I wouldn't usually think he'd be hesitant to say. I did like the post he made where he talked about sloonei/jay mutual TRs and how seriously they're taken or something though idk

Nothing comes easy, dear rodent, but it's nice to feel like we're going about things the right way. When I like the atmosphere of a game, I will make it known and hope that it is sustained. I think we're doing well. If there's any skill I trust myself with the most in the game of Mafia, it's identifying when a game thread is going well for the civilian faction and when it is not -- and in steering it true when needed.

I was ISOing KZA and I noticed instances of stating a townread of Sloonei but not explanation for it.

I think it drew my attention a little more because the three of us had a lot of interactions in Fallout Mafia, and in particular, Sloonei voiced strong scumreads of each of us at one point in the game, and I was concerned that KZA was attempting to pocket him early in this game after that happened there.
