Rules/mechanics:
1. Phases update at 6:00 EST (23:00 UTC). Days are 48 hours long, while nights are 24 hours long; night 1 will be extended by 24 hours due to Nollaig (Christmas)
2. Each player may only post 85 times in a day phase, but this is lifted at two hours before EoD (4:00 EST/21:00 UTC). Nights are closed.
3. Ties are not resolved randomly.
4. No screenshotting/quoting role PMs/host communications, no angleshooting, no weaponizing the host, no openly playing against win condition, basically all of that standard stuff.
5. There are no elements that I would define as bastard.
6. If you have any questions, ask the host privately; I will provide a public answer if I feel it is warranted.
7. A minimum of 5 game-related (up to the host's discretion, although I am lenient as to what is considered game-related) posts are required each day phase or I will sub you out.
8. Nameclaiming/flavor claiming is banned. All other claiming is allowed.
9. The two main factions are the Puritans (town) and Wolfwalkers (wolves). There may or may not be other factions.

It is now Night Zero. You may use this phase to check in and confirm you have received your role PM (if you haven't received yours, privately contact me ASAP). You are limited to five posts this phase. Day one starts 22 December 6:00 EST (23:00 UTC).

I don't feel much excitement from this, which is fine as everyone plays and treats forum mafia differently, but it gets me concerned I will understand so little of you that I won't be able to tell if you're town or not just because you could be different from me.
