Kagemusha signups

The year is 1571. A warlord named Oda Nobunaga has been sweeping through Japan. One man stands between Nobunaga and his conquest: Shingen, the leader of the Takeda clan. Shingen is a powerful and brilliant leader, although he is getting old. However, Shingen has one more trick up his sleeve: using a thief who looks like him as a body decoy in order to deceive his enemies. Can Shingen protect his clan, or will be be overrun by his enemies? The entire future of Japan hangs in the balance.

This game will pit the Takeda clan (town) against the Oda clan (mafia), and there may or may not be other factions as well. The setup revolves around two roles: Takeda Shingen and the Kagemusha. The Kagemusha starts out as an independent survivor and has BTSC with Shingen. If Shingen dies, he will flip as the thief instead, and the Kagemusha will convert to town and inherit all of Shingen's powers. However, if the Kagemusha dies afterwards, or three day/night cycles pass after Shingen's death, the ruse will be revealed and the Oda clan will be able to nightkill two people per night.

Phases are 48/24, and for update time I'll shoot for 10 PM EST but this is flexible if there is a demand for a different time. This is a thirteen player game.

Are you able to clarify the setup? I don't follow what's meant by "thief" for example. Also, do the mafia kill nightly before they [potentially] start killing twice per night?

The mafia can kill yes. The thief is another word for the Kagemusha.
