When it comes your turn, lets see if you are willing to take that gamble. :p

Your logic makes sense, but I'm going to be conservative with my vote both days.
Ok, if I'm around at the deadline, I volunteer to be the last voter today. :noble:
But you didn't vote Alderaan on day zero, so being the last voter today would, for you, be meaningless.
What does the Day 0 poll have to do with a planet exploding?

I thought it was the last voter in the lynch, not the last voter from the Day 0 poll.

At the moment, I feel inclined to vote for Glorfindel.

Noted, Golden, thanks! I wondered about that.

Oh.

I just went back and read Grand Moff's role again. I think I've been misinterpreting it. I was thinking that only those who voted for that planet could be exploded with that planet. But I think your interpretation is correct.
Never mind, I see that you've figured it out.

If you simply didn't mention your earlier suspicion of me then that would be fine, but actually your earlier posts flat-out contradict this. We have this:

I feel like the players who are posting the most seem civ. This makes me think the baddies are being quiet for now. I mean, look how many players there are and how many are actually posting. That said, I am civ even though I haven't posted much :p
And as a side note, we have this too:

Although I felt bcornett's push on Bubbles was opportunistic...

Banana, Luke, and Mishimeals have contributed absolutely (or practically) nothing. Floyd is there too.

What do you propose we do about attempting to evaluate the aforementioned players? They're perpetually in my orange area because I can't move them anywhere. At least Bubbles and DFaraday are posting reads, so I'm OK with them for now; I just don't feel a change is warranted.

I don't feel like voting someone who isn't actually playing at all is opportunistic.

Bullets over Broadway is one recent game I played that ended with an array of non-players. It does become difficult to know how to address them the longer they hang around.

I don't either, because they are a problem that needs to be addressed, particularly the longer that they hang around.

I felt bcornett's suspicion on Bubbles was opportunistic purely because he tried to push a specific case on why her behavior was anti-town, yet he picked Bubbles among all of the low posters/no shows to single out, and I didn't buy it.

Enrique, do you suspect zebra and/or sig?
I think everyone's just misunderstanding each other here. I thought Enrique was bad because he seemed to be giving the impression that he was good because he was poisoned (without directly saying it, as I mainly got this impression from how others reacted to it) but I no longer think that. And I think Enrique and others are misreading sig. Most of the time when players repeat others' opinions I'm pinged by it when sig does it, I think that's his way of just letting others know which opinions he agrees with.
I think Enrique thought I said I didn't find them suspicious at a point when I said he was suspicious, this caused confusion and his response made me think he was more likely to be mafia. His last few posts as well as Luke's vote on him means I won't be voting for him today. I think I was slightly tunnely and as I said his most recent posts seem civvie. So I at least view him as neutral atm.

I will need to read over Bcornett again when I ISO him he seemed civvie to me, but not answering Golden and just voting without making a post is pingy.
What is the argument for a Bcornett lynch?

I've been getting a weird gut feeling of Glorfindel this game, some of his posts have been pingy and he seems to be playing slightly differently then normal. Not sure if that is because he is with new players or what, but I could lynch him today, especially over zebra.

I don't know what to think of it. It seems apparent to me that Luke doesn't seem to have a grasp on mafia quite yet.

I agree; I think they are prone to linger if no replacement can be found, like in BoB.

Luke still makes his intentions near impossible to read though.

What about Floyd? I can't remember a single thing he's said this game.

I voted for him first.
And that's actually pretty much all the development MP missed. No more context necessary. It is an OMGUS without even a post attempting to justify it.
But you've been telling Golden he's wrong about bcornett. Do you think this OMGUS comes from a civvie mindset?
I was telling him that he was being uncomfortably indecisive about bcornett, and I still think that for the most part he was. But after seeing bcornett pop in the thread, post nothing regarding either his out-of-nowhere OMGUS vote or a response to both Golden and myself asking a response from him, I think my flip-flop is justified. :srsnod:

Hey, DF, Wilgy, and Elo... come talk. I want to hear what you're thinking. Elo, you seem insistent on zebra. Can you elaborate upon it in any way?

I was going to vote Roxy, but I'd feel bad about it now that she posted about wanting to quit. So I went with Bubbles, since her vote for Zebra doesn't sit well with me, and I was still a bit suspicious of of her for her (in my view) self-promoting post about Matt way back.

True Luke has only played two games

It is more tone based, he is mentioning how he is helping alot more, doesn't seem to be making as many concrete reads as he usually does. Also in my opinion he seems to be minimizing his own mafia experience and I'm not sure why that is. His vote on Russ seems odd and his follow up post interacting with Enrique. His vote also came at a critical time and he voted for a third candidate who has no votes.

This isn't much and could be since he is around new people, but I've got a bad gut read of him right know.

linki: Luke is actually playing but his vote pinged me. If Luke is mafia we won't be getting much from him regardless I'm unsure about his civ play, but at least as scum he posted enough to be noticed, but not enough to slip up.

As much as I feel for Roxy and her thoughts on the situation, I don't feel as though it should impact the game like this.

Honestly, like with Roxy I don't think I'm in a place to contribute to a lynch of Glorfindel. I was the one who made him openly reluctant to play another game on this site for crying out loud. It just doesn't feel right.

You shouldn't. There is still every chance they are bad. I think if people have read your posts they ought to understand that you in particular have taken the opportunity to read low posters content and judge them on the basis of the content and not the volume.

But I do think it has been very easy to latch on to 'low content' as an excuse for votes without looking beyond it for malicious intent.

Hey, Zebra, I'd like to know specifically what you think about my posts re bcornett.
I'm not doubting that they are bad, but at this point I don't feel like I'm even in a position to vote for anyone but myself. Nothing gets me down more than miscommunication that ruins people's enjoyment of something, especially so unnecessarily.

I'm not confident enough to say that you're flat-out wrong about bcornett, but I think that more than once this game you've been very quick to see his posts as manipulative, and Day 1 you were just as quick to look the other way after he responded to you. I'm town-reading him myself but I want to see how he responds to your more recent suspicion, and honestly I'm slightly pinged that you didn't hesitate to vote for him today. Are you worried he might change your mind again?

I mean, what am I to make of that?
He's scum, that's what you are to make of that. I didn't have a problem with Glorfindel's silent vote but from bcornett who was in the thread when both of us were asking him for a response to your suspicion and then left without a single post...yeah.
And now he is zebra's Number 1 scumspect.

This surprised me as well. I think when I said that I was still letting my guilt over Roxy and Glorfindel hover over all my actions, which I'm still doing to an extent (whether I should or shouldn't be isn't for me to decide, at least not now). But I can't deny that even though Bubbles had her own reasons for voting for me, her three posts as a whole just make much more sense from a mafia mindset than a town one, from my view. It's that pop in, post something to remind everyone you're playing, pop out. To me the other low posters are more justified alignment-wise for having so little to work with that it can't be a strategy on their part, even if they do happen to be bad.

Your roux, or your roo?

On Eloh - I haven't been able to put words on it yet. But, that post pointing out those three very different posts in terms of her mindset (albeit that the third one had a :p thrown in) does appear like someone struggling to keep their own thoughts on the game straight.

On Russ - because I don't think he is bad  and haven't agreed with much of the suspicion on him. I am looking forward to him not being on the road, though.

They probably shouldn't have, but if it came to it I would rather lose a game than contribute to driving someone away from Mafia.

For the record, I do still suspect Roxy.
