Felt is an unbelievable material.
Look around your house right now. How many items can you see that are made of felt? Probably a lot!

There will be roles for different kinds of felt, but also items made of felt. Did you know that this textile likely has Sumerian origins? Can you say that about of the other (non-wooden) substances around you?
If you are like me, you probably have a puppet or two lying around your house. Go pull it off the shelf that it's resting on and give it a closer look. It's probably made of felt!
Once you're back, go get your accordion. Look at the substance under the keys. Felt!? Can you even believe it.
Did you know German artist Josef Beuys often used felt in his artwork? Sure is better than making art out of human feces!
