I've been writing/workshopping this game for years and I think I finally nailed down how to get it to work. I have the roles figured out, all the important mechanics nailed down, I just need to fill in the roles themselves and make the map(s)

Bit of a teaser as to how roles will work:

Character: Superman

Description: The Man of Tomorrow. You possess great STRENGTH, the ability of FLIGHT, and once per phase may *****************************************************************************.

Weakness: **************************************

Every character will have powers based loosely around keywords like FLIGHT and STRENGTH. Some keywords will be character specific (For example, KRYPTONIAN), And characters will have weaknesses that impact how well they do in combat, as well as allow opponents to gain the upper hand if they are crafty and strategic.

WIN CONDITIONS:

Although this is a LMS game, characters will have additional possible win conditions. I'll keep the ACTUAL win cons a secret but here is an example of what one or two might look like:

Captain America -
Win Condition: You may win alone, OR with any two AVENGERS.

Loki -
Win Condition: You may win alone, but only if Odin is dead, OR with Thor but only if Odin is alive.

It is a fair criticism to call this set up/game not entirely LMS. Its just also not a typical team vs. team set up either.

Just about every role will have a non-LMS win condition they could potentially meet, and win, but it *is* going to be a Battle Royale style of game (instead of NKs/Lynches there will be a fighting/battle mechanic) I've got that figured out, and I'm working on the maps/a way to make sure its not a popularity contest type of game.

Awesome, I'll hit you up once I hammer out the details on the other stuff. I do have a Metropolis map that I like and that I was able to slap a grid on, the problem I've run into is I can't find a good one for Gotham in case I decide to do a multi-map scenario.

Although I really liked Owlman in the Crisis On Two Earths animated movie was great as well. I'd give that movie 5 stars in a heartbeat; it was so awesome.

Owlman's one of my favorites. I have some interesting ideas about his role, and in general how to elevate the Crime Syndicate roles from their counterparts.
