Personality & Traits

General Overview

She is a product of the Alliance. Even given her natural gifts, they took and abused her in many ways. Unlocking things they shouldn't have. Very much similar to the infamous River, the same process was done to Kaylia.

Strengths & Weaknesses

Strengths: Exceptional, combat ability. Increased cognitive ability. Up to and including, precognition. She can see things in the moment before they are going to happen. Not to be confused with premonitions. It is ONLY in the moment. She can cook, dance, sing, play violin, fly most ships. Fixing not so much, but a little bit.

Weaknesses: She is not all there. Maybe 65% if the time she can be lucid. Have her wits about her. While yes the same conditioning that River had, as did many other children, her set off word has been lost. That does not to say if someone does figure it out, she won't go off. She will. That makes her dangerous. She also can not use any kind of ranged weapon(other than thrown melee) with any kind of competence. None, what so ever. She also is or can be naive at times, probably to much for her own good. If she's not lucid and you dangle a shiny in front of her, one can pretty much lead her any where till she gets her hands on it. Or she just kicks your ass and takes it.

None as of know of so far, as no one has bothered to care enough about her to ask.

Hobbies & Interests

She can cook, dance, sing, play violin, fly most ships. She loves cats. Puppies are okay, sometimes. Depends on what type they are. Kaylia also loves to read, anything she can get her hands on. From childrens books to quantum physics.

Personal History

There was a conversation once, the time she met the actual River and Malcolm Reynolds. Which the Cap'n, has no clue about. Kaylia did infact know her father. He said pertaining to Kaylia, "Whimsical in the brainpan. That's the polite way of describing her. The not-so-polite way is to say the girl is flat-out crazy. She hears things that no one says, sees things different than they truly are. One time she shot three people clean through the head with a single bullet each and her eyes closed. She can't even aim a gun.

"She's a...I don't know what. reader or seer, or something. She sees somefin we don't, I've come to believe. She's quick-thinking, if sometimes odd-thinking. She does have her quirks, such as taking it into her head all she wants is a kitten.

Truth is, I never knew what River is going to do next and this woman is the same way. While that perks up our lives, it is a mite unsettling.

Still, none of us is perfect and Kaylia just as River, does have a kind of way about them. When they aren't stabbing fold, and so long as someone keeps them in check.

You see, its accured to me that, there are times when a girl with the ability they have, might come in handy in our line of work."

Which was true of her, and she was in the same class when she was little as River. Infact, they were best friends. Then the Alliance came. Took a number of them away. For years, experiments, trials. Back and forth, back and forth.

Until the day that River's brother broke her out. Unknowingly, it let all of the other subjects out as well. Some got killed in the escape but Kaylia didn't. However, she does have six nasty scars from bullets on her body from said escape.
