Current Syndicate Top Ten in win percentage
I was curious how this shakes out presently. I realize this will look like self-congratulation given my own rank, but I have been shit this year so leave me alone.
T1. dunya - 63.64% (11)
T1. Nevinera - 63.64% (11)
3. JaggedJimmyJay - 61.76% (34)
4. sprityo - 58.82% (17)
5. Enrique - 58.33% (12)
6. Sloonei - 46.67% (30)
7. Boomslang - 46.43% (28)
8. Simon - 45.45% (11)
9. Matt - 45.00% (20)
10. Golden - 42.86% (35)
Notes:
~ The number in parentheses is the total number of games played.
~ I established a minimum of 10 total games played for members to qualify for this list. This standard is arbitrary beyond being a "nice, even number" or "the first double-digit number". Some standard is necessary though to facilitate a decent sample.
~ Many players who played a large number of games prior to 2016 (or so) are at a disadvantage -- it was more common then for games to feature a "live to win" condition for civilians and/or others, and this resulted in fewer wins and more losses across the board.
~ Wins and losses reflect chance occurrence as much as anything else, so I wouldn't take much from this beyond it being neat. Some good players here have had really bad luck in the win column, and that's just the way it goes.

Someone actually tied Nevinera? Holy shit. Then again, at least most of those games were survive to win.
The man is a legend.
Congrats to dunya and you all though, I guess.

The funny thing is, my win percentage was higher in the 'alive to win' days lol.

I didn't "win" as a civilian until almost a year after this site started.

Now you've all had your brandies and are feeling quite at ease. Good, I like my guests to be at ease. Come into the dining room and have a seat, if you would be so kind.
Your seating cards should be arranged in quite an orderly fashion, but wait! There appears to be an extra card. What can this mean? I'd better read it out loud.
"Dear Guests,
I thought you might like to know that S~V~S's role is a male role. Make of that what you will.
Sincerely,
Mr. Boddy"
Oh my, how very, very interesting. But let's not get too hung up on that. There's more things to discuss.
I fear the Cook is having a sudden lack of inspiration, and she has asked me to solicit your advice. Please can you each submit to your gracious host, via PM, three recipes, one starter, one main course, and one dessert? These can be real recipes collected from anywhere you like, or you can make up your own. Three winners will be chosen by me, and they shall be handsomely rewarded for their help.
Whoops, it seems someone has collapsed onto the table. Too much brandy, perhaps?
*sniff sniff* Oh dear, it seems to have been poison. Lucky none of you got that of you got that glass, eh? I assume the rest of yours are all right.

Having a look, I see that Colin has taken Simon's place in the top 10...
And there are 20 whoa re 40% or above, so that's really where things start getting serious.
I'd say many of the oldest players have their records seriously dragged down by the years of alive to win.

My relatively high placement in these rankings won’t last for long. I’m a first round bust, and not the kind you find in Canton.

Re: Current Syndicate Top Ten in win percentage
I decided to check it out. This is the top ten in win percentage for games starting in 2016 or later (10 games played minimum in that stretch). This does not perfectly reflect the survival win condition rules and the cultural shift, but it's close enough. I may have made error(s).
1. JaggedJimmyJay - 67.86% (28)
2. dunya - 64.29% (14)
3. nijuukyugou - 58.82% (17)
4. sprityo - 57.89% (19)
5. LoRab - 56.25% (16)
6. ColinIsCool - 54.55% (11)
7. Sloonei - 53.57% (28)
8. Boomslang - 53.33% (15)
9. Spacedaisy - 52.78% (36)
10. M Plus 7 - 51.61% (31)
I've drawn a clean line on the spreadsheet and when time permits I might be able to check out the other side of 2016.

All three of you are close to 35%, which is a pretty common placement.Dragon D. Luffy wrote: ↑Sat Aug 25, 2018 11:28 am @JaggedJimmyJay we are curious. Who sucks the most?
If going by the 10 games played standard, the unluckiest (win-loss percentage doesn’t indicate that someone “sucks”) would be Boogs at 0-16, or DisgruntledPorcupine at 1-21.

35%? Wow. Either I got much better or stopped habing bad luck. Probably a bit of both.
