I was six pages behind and reading but suspected I couldn’t catch up fast enough as I was also distracted with other things while I tried to get through it. I voted DDL because he has been one that I felt off about for a while, without solid reasoning that I can point to. I didn’t feel good about lynching Luna but I hadn’t come to all this stuff about her role until now. And I didn’t have a bad feeling about Elo either. So I voted the person I actually suspected over the other two and went back to catching up so that I wouldn’t miss the vote.

I’m going to be gone all day. A family obligation caught me by surprise.

I think we’ve run out of universes where Elohcin is a civilian. Kill her. Then from there decide on any teammate. If the game started with 5 mafia (less likely than 4 I think, but possible) we may be headed to an elimination phase.

First of all, I just about forgot LC was even playing, haha.

Second, Jules said I was here but had nothing to say. The past few days, I have had time to catch up mostly but not to post. The walls of text and the amount of posts makes everything feel like work and I already have a job and a family to tend to. Look at LC a moment. See how much he has posted? If he hadn't lucked out on his one awesome act which showed he was def civ, he would be in the POE for sure by now, probably even dead or mod killed. But....If I decide that this is too much work for me (now that I have already tried to get involved and participate), and if I drift away and stop participating, I am all of a sudden a huge suspect. Why? I am just acting like Rey, or LC, or neverwhere. But b/c I was once involved and am now over it, I get suspected. Stupid. So, number one reason I have been quiet is apathy, number two is RL, and number 3...I had been set on Luna as a great lynch candidate so I felt I didn't need to be so talkative. Remember back when votes were not changable. If you had your mind set and voted, you were not expected to keep yapping all day long. Why now? No thank you.

Yesterday was pretty frustrating for me being cursed and all. [mention]JaggedJimmyJay[/mention] do you gain anything out of cursing a player? Because when I agreed to it I assumed you would get a role peek or something. I guess I should have asked before agreeing, and role claimed in my own words before being cursed.

Also I did tell speedchuck my accurate role, and I'm convinced he switched it around in his head and mis-remembered it.

If there were any other misunderstandings I wasn't able to communicate yesterday, please ask. I'll be around.

Elohcin, I see you brought up Long Con. I had a thought last night. He could totally be scum and worked out a plan with his team to claim that Jack was scum, effectively buying civ credit so he could coast to the end of the game. I'm not saying it's likely, but it would be possible. Do you think he would do something like that?

I do think he could do something like that. LC is a mastermind.

Also, I think it is worth noting that after my catch up, I am AGAIN undecided on you. I have two people that I have SO much trouble reading, you and nutella. Everything nutella says and does usually screams "baddie, baddie" in my head. And everything you say and do usually screams "civ, civ" in my head. The reasons I think you could be bad are all related to your timing of participation. If it is true that RL was the factor in all of it, then these last couple phases would point to you being civ. It makes me confused. Plus, you were cursed yesterday. I would think that would be a baddie role. I know the roles are messed up in this game, what seems civ could be bad and what seems bad could be civ. My role seems like a baddie role. I don't think it would help civs, so I have actually refrained from using it all game. If I had the insanifying role (as a civ), I think I would be more careful with it. So I am thinking that whoever has it could be bad.

i'm not comfortable with luna/speed, mostly because of how much trust they have in each other despite a shit ton of whack regarding luna's claim so i feel like one is pocketing the other. i would have said luna yesterday, but now i'm not sure about speed. i kinda ruled him out after the jack whack, but if it was some kind of ploy to win an extra day of jack being alive and speed looking innocent because he can claim he actually did get the protection from the host... it's not that hard to imagine anymore. i'd lynch speed before luna. i don't like waiting for luna to prove her lie detect and i would have taken serious issues with her choice of 9 voters instead of 10, but she did say she guessed nine openly in the thread (i'm not sure why she chose 9 [mention]Lunalee[/mention] if you can answer) so i'm a little iffy about it.

i don't care if there really was a deleted post, that still doesn't town clear jay for me. it's like he's always one step ahead of us about roles, how he was trying to drive game mechanic talk (albeit at the request of someone else, DDL?) his votes have been questionable, his handling of me has been different. this isn't tinfoil. these are genuine gripes but i don't have time to make a case and i know i can see town jay in some posts too, but too many things bother me on the whole. i can also see speed and jay as teammates.

i always feel bad when i reread and realize i've been defending someone more than they're willing to defend themselves. in this poe, eloh comes naturally as my next choice. her most recent posts make me question exactly what she's been reading, but okay, she's in my poe. and for the record: being a civ looks like someone genuinely trying to game solve and figure people out. and juliets is right, eloh, that is lacking from your iso. whether it's genuine apathy or not remains to be seen. i hope now that the game has become smaller, you'll try to offer more content and reads. i wouldn't be surprised if you're lynched tomorrow if your attitude towards the game doesn't change. hope your migraine goes away <3

spacedaisy is a town read for me, but i get bad feelings when someone drops off the radar and lets everyone else argue things out. she was very successfully blendy and quiet in gossip girl, and i can't carry a town read till end game based on actions several phases ago. i don't really believe she only posts when she has a suspect and she doesn't have a single suspect right now? how is that possible?

i should put kites ahead of spacedaisy in my list, but i just feel good about his recent contributions and the jjj tinfoil makes me appreciate him all that more. he could stay down low and lurky, but he's willing to go against the waves and voice suspicions on someone everyone else is townreading (except me, apparently). i think mafia kites would have picked a more consensual target, especially when he isn't under any lynch pressure. good look. disclaimer: i have no idea what mafia kites looks like. and i don't wanna know.

juliets and long con are town cleared in my eyes. i have explained long and hard why i don't believe long con is jack's teammate and won't come around to thinking that's possible (not an insult to your abilities as mafia, LC!)

Elo, one of the reasons you're in my suspect pool is I don't see anything you have done that I can point to and say "this person is civ because of this". So since I can't find it I'm asking you to point out whatever you have done or said that in your eyes says "civvie" all over it. Don't worry about what I see as civ, tell me what you see.

One of the things that has been true time and time again in these games is that civs loose when they don't discuss possibilities, challenge each other on reads, look at the things people have said and done, and put thoughts out there for people to look at and judge right up to EOD. Think about GG when there was no one willing to discuss alternatives with you to your lynch. That's why it's important to be around - to participate in those things even if you've already voted. Many people when mafia don't want to stick around and discuss things because it's more difficult for them since they know who is good and bad. As for your reasons for not being around I understand being busy but look at what busy dunya does when she comes in - she usually can't stay long but her posts are full of meaningful reads/repsonses.

But, I don't think all the suspicion on you is because you're not around. It's probably a factor but trying to find solid civ behavior is I think something that is more important to people. Best you ask them though, I can't speak for others.

do you have to submit the number before the end of night? we are down to 9. if a kill happens tonight, 8. i would go with 7 and maybe you can hold off voting until the end if you're willing to be around just before day ends. you know, in case someone misses a vote cos "it's the weekend" (hi speedchuck). or maybe 8 and we force everyone to cast an early vote to make sure you can prove your ability the next phase.

not exactly what i said, but okay. i've defended you more than you've defended yourself lol. i was pretty sure i was going to get hung for tmi if you flipped civ, but i didn't care. i just can't justify myself giving you carte blanche when the suspect pool has narrowed down to a few names. you're not mechanically cleared. you didn't seem to react in a bad way when hot potatoing ddl to save your cute little butt yesterday. these are things dunya's brain registered and continues to mull over for 24 hours.

I will try to be a bit more active. I really am trying to care. I will be inactive most of tomorrow b/c family stuff. But I am going to take the afternoon to look into people and make a read of everyone. This will have to count for my Day 7 activity.

a mafia stump is a baddie version of stump. a stump is someone if lynched is removed from the game entirely, but if nk'd becomes a stump so they are a permanent voice in the thread but cannot vote.

a baddie version of that i guess would be someone who is removed from the game if vigged and becomes a stump if lynched? idk.

This would be my POE and in specific order. Jay/Dunya are together only b/c I view them as the same baddiness. Please look, read, and refute so I can narrow it down if possible.

dunya - this one is difficult for the same reasons as Jay (note I am starting from the bottom of my list and working my way up)

JaggedJimmyJay - I could go either way on him. He puts so much time and effort into those walls of texts. It really could be a big civ move or a great effort to look that way.

juliets - civ in my opinion. really helpful in trying to find the bad guys.

Kites - one of my top suspects. I have questioned him from almost the beginning. I remember reading on ONE post from him that had me thinking he MIGHT be civ.

Long Con - sittin' pretty over there on his civilian throne. I do wonder though, as luna brought up, if he could be tricking us all. It would be the ultimate mafia win for him to get away with playing so lazily. I am a bit suspicious on the fact that he is playing so lazily like he doesn't care, but he has voted every lynch (like he brought up). I am not sure that voting every lynch but being so distant in the thread is a good look.

Lunalee - still unsure of this chick. If she was is telling the truth about why she was not participating at one point and how she finally had time to get involved, then the rest of her behavior looks pretty civ.

Spacedaisy - worries me as being what you all call a "deep wolf". She is a pretty sneaky on, imo.

speedchuck - I am thinking civ. I feel like I don't know much more about him now than I did when he was hyped up on medication.
